Sunright is literally one of my favorite boba milk tea chains in Socal. I stopped by on their grand opening day because I just happened to be in Alhambra. The line wasn't too crazy (I got there a few hours after they had opened) although I know the line wrapped around the building at one point. I got the Grapefruit Jasmine Tea and the 4 seasons Brulee Oat Latte - which are my 2 favorite drinks at Sunright. Both were really good. Although, I got 75% sweet and it tasted like 100%+ sweetness lol!! Since it was their opening day, there was a BOGO deal and service was much slower. I think I waited like 15 minutes for my drink even though it wasn't that busy. Kiosks were closed for ordering when I visited. YUMMMMM Totally recommend this place! I ordered their Oreo creme brûlée with boba. I don't like too sweet but their 100% sweetness was recommended so I went with that. It's a sunright. Can't go wrong with a modern boba chain these days. Pretty sure they have all their drink recipes down pat so the quality is always the same. It's a new place so they have a bit of a learning curve since they didn't really check the online orders but they got the drink out fast. This brand new Sunright location is inside the McDonalds and Ono Hawaiian BBQ plaza across from Costco in Alhambra. Like other Sunright tea spots, their drink is amazing. It's filled with flavor-the right amount of sweetness and creaminess in milk teas, the right amount of sweetness and chewiness in bobas, and the freshness of the fruit teas always come through. This time around I got their oolong milk tea with an extra crème brûlée topping ($1 extra) and it was really good. I really like that they have a kids menu, with 4 drinks that are non caffeinated and smaller in size. My daughter loves their strawberry milk with boba. I'm also guilty of getting that drink for myself sometimes since it's the perfect size for a small boba craving. They're currently in their soft opening phase so they close at 6 daily. Service was good and the manager there seems to still be training the employees (who look like they're having a great time and full of energy when I arrived, no sarcasm here, like they're really happy to be working together :) One more thing. Full confession: Sunright has become a bit of an addiction for my fiancée and me. For a while, we were stopping by multiple times a week, but out of sheer necessity, we've managed to scale back to about once a week. We both have our favorites -- she's all about the Mango Chamoya Frostie, while I'm hooked on the Mango Coconut Frostie. Unfortunately, the Mango Coconut Frostie has been out for quite some time. Please, Sunright, bring it back! I know you have the mango because I've been getting the regular Mango Frostie in the meantime, and it's delicious, but it's just not the same. I usually order mine with just 25% sweetness. Any more than that, and it's way too sweet for my taste. The ingredients are always fresh, and they're blended perfectly. The flavor is spot on, and the service is quick. I recommend ordering ahead and picking up your drink since there's no indoor seating. The location is relatively convenient, in the shopping center where Panera is in Alhambra, right across from Costco. Parking can be tricky -- there's an underground garage that fills up fast, but there's usually space on the top level if you drive around. Sunright might not be the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. Fresh, delicious, and totally worth it! So please, Sunright, bring back the Mango Coconut Frostie. I'm a big fan of Sunright, and my first visit to this Alhambra location did not disappoint! The interior is designed similarly to other locations and was honestly more spacious than other spots I've been to. I always love the ease of ordering via kiosks at Sunright, and the machines were working well when I visited. We ordered three drinks that came out in a reasonable amount of time. Sunright is consistently good at all the locations I've tried. The kiosk makes it an easy, fast, and convenient ordering experience especially when ordering for a large group/family. I've tried a variety of their menu, but today I got the Oreo Brûlée latte with boba, light rice, 75% sugar. It's a pretty sweet drink even when getting 75% sugar so I think you go could even go down to 50%, but I haven't tried that yet. My other favorites are the Jasmine Oat milk Brûlée Oat Latte, Matcha Oat milk Brûlée latte, and the peach tea with cheese foam. The boba pearls itself are always the perfect texture and sweetness. Sunright is quick and has consistent quality and taste. I kinda wish they had dining/seating options, but I think excluding this from their space is partially what makes the service so fast. I'm a huge boba fan and have tried probably hundreds of different boba shops and this is one of my favorite boba places in the SGV. read more

Bad experience. Uber eats showed BOGO for the Boba milk tea. I added it to cart and thought it was 2 drinks. I did came to this store for different occasions and I still love the vibe of the store and love the drinks provided from the server. There is no place to socialize but that is ok! This place is good, but it's easy to go overboard in terms of ordering *laughs* the first time I went I got some form of milk tea boba with cheese foam and 50% sweetness-it was honestly too much in terms of richness and I ended up tossing it. This is a newer location for Sunright. I suggest ordering ahead. I like that there is plenty of parking. I've always ordered ahead so I usually have little to no wait. Sunright is one of my favorite boba shops in LA. It might actually be my favorite? It's pretty top tier for a chain. Their drinks seem more premium and they adjust sweetness well. My go-to is the mango milk tea but the pictured tea is their strawberry matcha. I never tried it before and was in the mood for matcha, so why not! It tastes way way way better than Boba Guys, who made that their signature drink. Quite refreshing. I got it at 25 percent sweetness since I knew the strawberry would be sweet. My friends are obsessed with their strawberry frosties. I like trying out their seasonal drinks too. I usually skip their anime collab drinks because they sound nauseating lol, but I'd be curious what others think of them. A good place to grab some boba but definitely not a spot to hang out. I stopped by and upon entering, there's a sign at the front register instructing you to order at a self-service kiosk. Using the touch screen to order drinks, customize various ice/sweetness levels, and add toppings was straightforward. When I went, there was a promotion for a free agar topping which was cool. Paying was simple as well, and you are able to scan your QR code if you're a rewards member. While waiting for our drinks to be made, I noticed that there is not one seat in this Sunright location. No benches, stools, chairs -- nothing. We stood around until they called us to pick up our drinks, and then we were out. From the self-serve ordering kiosks to the lack of any seating, this place just gave off super unwelcoming vibes. Because of the set up, we barely interacted with any staff (which appears intentional). It's efficient, I suppose. On a more positive note, I was happy with my jasmine milk tea w/honey boba. In May they open finally.. we check the place out it's nice and clean they have a Kiosk to place your order if you want or pay at the cashier. Plenty of selection to choose from, they even have Grass Jelly. Wow ! now most Boba place either have Boba or coconut jelly but hardly have both Grass Jelly and Boba. So we place the order we tried their Matcha Brulee Oath Latte with Boba with less sugar take your pick . Ya this is good Matcha! the Boba is good kinda chewy not hard like some other Boba place just right. Now we cannot just go without trying the Grass Jelly with Boba Milk Tea with no sugar. Wow! this drink is so good!! the Grass Jelly still warm with the Boba it was a good combination..try it out you'll see what I mean.. remember you can choose sugar, less or no sugar . This boba place is pretty good. The drinks cost about $6 to $8, and extra boba or jellies cost an extra 75¢ . The portion sizes are around 22 ounces i'm pretty sure. The service at the self serve kiosk is quick and easy, with friendly and efficient workers. The only downside is the tight and crowded parking. It's not the best spot for sitting down and enjoying your boba, but it's worth trying. Plus, they accept Apple Pay which is always great. read more

I had to come by after this location newly opened because it's closer to me than the Pasadena location. I ordered my usual strawberry green tea, and although I don't usually like Sunright's boba I added honey boba to see if this location would be any different. Unfortunately it must be a standard across locations because the boba was too hard for me, and I will be avoiding it in the future. The drink itself was perfect as usual though, so overall a good experience. I suspect this spot will be a favorite especially in the coming summer months, and I can't wait to try out other drinks. read more

It's so easy to put in your order and select your own customizations! I ordered a wintermelon tea with cheese foam and it was so refreshing . I always reduce the sugar and it was still so flavorful. I had never had cheese foam before but WOW! It was like a light cheesecake flavor right on top. I definitely enjoyed that slightly savory and sweet combination and savored it over two days. It kept so well in the fridge! The shop is very simple (no muss, no fuss vibes only) and has lots of standing room and no seats. Definitely take your drink to go. Also one of the girls help me bc Mochi wasnt available on the kiosk and she fixed it so I could order!
