Maybe it was just me being younger and naive, but I always found theirs to be exceptionally good (when compared to similar American family restaurants). I found myself back here again craving these fried pieces of cod. I really should try other menu items because they have a ton of dishes to choose from to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. But of course I went with the fish and chips, and I'm happy to say they did not disappoint me. I don't know for sure whether the filets were fresh or frozen, but the fish itself tasted very tender and flaky while the batter had the perfect amount of crunch to it. I ordered mine with a side of coleslaw, as is tradition. The lady who waited on me was very nice and attentive. As far as the dining room is concerned I can't remember if it always looked this way or if they made some changes. Either way I think the restaurant is a nice place to grab a meal, and I cannot find too much to complain about.
