Great place to eat breakfast and all sorts of other food. My friend kept posting about this place weekly but I had never been since I had always seen lines outside. I decided to call and make a reservation so that helped decrease our wait time by 10 minutes. The eggs benedict was amazing but there were a few other high points: 1) so many options, 2) cutely crafted kids options which made the kids happy, 3) quick time from order to food on table, 4) the wait staff held and entertained one of our fussy kids while my friend was eating. The café is always clean, the food is delicious and it really doesn't matter what you get breakfast or lunch or dinner plates the food is fresh and the presentation is great! The portions are huge! Very good food however the waiting staff we're a lot of young girls who paid more attention to the boys in the front of the building then there tables. You could see them all eating drinking and sitting down with the men at the front table. Our server maybe came to the table 3 times including giving us our drinks and food. We like to go here for breakfast or lunch after church. Normally a wait so we call ahead to save time in line. Winter wait often has us either just go home for food or eat lunch elsewhere. Very crowded, long wait, everything on the menu was something I could make at home, we got sat at a very tiny corner seat which every worker and customer kept stopping to have full on conversations on top of my head was extremely annoying and rude I thought. Just ate here for the first time. Sad to say it took us this long to eat here! Good, simple, tradtional food. Eggs are a biggie on the menu (omletes, etc.) So I was a little worried (i'm allergic), but not a problem here and they let me order without eggs since they came with everything. I ordered the corned beef and hash, they threw in some veggies for free for me since I didn't get the egg.I very much appreciated that! Very attentive wait staff! Holy smokes! Not only was our waiter there checking in on us, but any wait staff walking by checked in on us. Also, I'm assuming the manager or owner (Manny?) Came by and welcomed us and shook our hands. Came here while my mother was visiting from out of town for a late breakfast and had a very good experience. Ecellent service, cozy diner atmosphere, good southern breakfast, nice portions. They play oldies on the overhead music, which my mother loved and makes for a nice touch, giving it a classic diner feel. Parking is decent and management is very visible- walks around assisting waitstaff and making sure customers are happy, without hovering too much or getting in the way. Clean restaurant, and bathrooms very well stocked and clean. This is going to be our go-to diner from now on. read more

We've been here four times - three times just this week. (Apparently, this is as far as I got on this review back in February of this year, my bad) but we're back in the area and it's still great food. Each time we've been very happy with our meals. If you are worried about Coronavirus, don't eat here. Servers aren't wearing masks or are wearing them wrong, get right up close to you. People waiting to get in sitting next to each other in waiting area. They are reusing paper menus, and all the outside tables had food on then, so they weren't wiped off between customers. Order was cooked wrong, tasteless and served cold as well. Won't be back, very disappointed. note: had to revise my review, since the owner made several false claims in his response to my original review. I wear an N95 mask everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I wore it in the door, and wore it until I was sitting at my table outside, and wore it in when talking to the server. I wore it out to the parking lot to my car (370Z) when I left, it sat on the bench at the table beside me when it wasn't on my face. I did NOT go out and get it like he claimed. He claimed I was not wearing it, which is a lie or a mistake about who he was speaking about. I never talked to any male employees, only female. I even offered to pay for the drinks we drank. I never complained about being cold outside, and if he had someone on video not wearing a mask, he wasn't looking at video of me, he was looking at video of someone who doesn't respect the safety of the people around them - like our server! She stuck her face about a foot from my wife with her mask around her neck, not covering her mouth and nose. You know that's dangerous, right? We pulled up to Sunrise & there was a line out the door so we decided this place must be worth the wait & IT SURE WAS! From the second we walked in the place felt like we were at home in our own small town if St Cloud, FL. Everyone knew everyone in there, every single one of the employees had the biggest smiles on their faces & the energy was infectious. Coming from a restaurant management background I typically notice things not many do. It was easy to see that this restaurant is different from the rest. Whoever runs this establishment truly cares about their employees as much as they do their guests. The food was TO DIE FOR! I had the Coconut Cream Pie French Toast, eggs & bacon. My friend had the Huge Breakfast Sampler & let me tell you it lived up to its name. By far the best part of the restaurant were 3 ladies. Our waitress Deborah was PHENOMENAL from start to finish. Gave great recommendations to my very indecisive friend, made sure our food was not only correct but also tasted great, & was sure to check on us multiple times. Sandra, was a young lady that stopped by our table twice & was so pleasant & sweet, I mentioned to my friend she should be a manager. Come to find out she was actually a manager in training! We found a real gem today. We have passed this location many times in the past and said we should stop there and eat sometime. Well, today we did and what a meal we had. Be prepared when you go to wait for a table as I understand they are always very crowded. Go early as they close at 3:00 pm. We were there at 1:00 and only waited about 20 mins. We were seated and immediately our server was ready to take out drink order. Most dishes are priced very reasonable. I ordered the Fried Seafood Combo, shrimp, clams and the biggest piece of white fish I've seen served. Came with a biscuit, fries, salad and veggie of the day, greens. Everything was hot, fresh and very delicious. I needed a togo box as it was too much to eat there. My wife got the Baked Whitefish. Again, a huge piece of fish, salad, mashed potatoes, biscuit and veggie of the day. It was also hot, fresh and very delicious and also required a togo box. As we were finishing the owner, Manny, came up to us and thanked us for coming and asked where we were from. He is very personable and a real Ambassador for his business. Best breakfast that I've eaten since I can remember. We were in the area for a doctors appointment and looked up a place for breakfast on yelp. This restaurant was highly rated. It was packed at 9am on a Wednesday, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, it was well worth waiting for! The staff was very nice and hospitable. Not fancy but charming. My breakfast included, bacon, sausage, ham, 3 huge eggs, home fries and a biscuits all for $8.95!!! In addition, they have awesome corned beef hash. Great taste, huge portions and incredible prices. Eating in Zephyrhills sucks. Although this place has a very traditional menu, that's what snowbirds and Zephyrhillians crave. I wish they had some more healthy options instead of the iceberg lettuce salads and such, however the food is good. It's micro managed by these wonderful brothers and if you like white-american-food you'll love this place,, yes the spanikopita and greek salad's, chicken skewers, all delicious, but not practical for everyday eating. I've never had a problem here besides the impossible lines to get in during the winter. A+++ read more
