    Garden salad

Diner atmosphere in Gig Harbor. Food - Friday night is prime rib night and I ordered it medium rare, and it was delivered medium well - oh well! The tuna salad was good. Service was good / I would probably return to try something else on the menu.

My go to restaurant for all my favorites dishes. It's a place where everyone in the family can get what they like and really like what they get! Everything on the menu is really tasty, try the buffalo wings- the best around, their burger is the big kahuna if you ask me, wanna steak and a loaded potato, an old fashioned milkshake perhaps, they got all the goods!! The service here is superb, you'll see for yourself and I'm pretty confident you'll agree!

The good, the bad, nothing ugly. GOOD: Location convenient Ambiance and cleanliness was nice. ( perhaps they remodeled bc old condition of restaurant was mentioned repeatedly by others.) The scrambled eggs, the omelette scramble and the bacon was done really nicely. (All the veges in the scramble were actually fresh (not canned or frozen) and sauteed perfectly: Spinach, zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions. The eggs were not over or under cooked, and the bacon was thick sliced, crispy on the outside, but still chewy inside. They look overcooked but were good, like air-fried bacon is. The "syrup" on the cinnamon roll was excellent, almost tasted like homemade butter-caramel (but not thick and chewy). The Bad: the small (right size!) cinnamon roll was reheated in a microwave which made it incredibly tough to the point that it was challenging to get the fork into the last cooled piece, it cooled so tough and hard. The hash browns (while not overly greasy) were devoid of flavor or any fat at all. The pancakes were not light and fluffy/were hard to cut with a fork! tough. The bottom one remained better, and although they evidently came out right from the griddle, it was the kind of tough a microwave (or heating lamp maybe?) would do. The price? Well everything is relevant, but we paid $42 for two breakfast adding on a small cinnamon roll, two hot teas, and the tip. I think that's too much, especially since it wasn't good. Also, perhaps they need to hire another waitstaff person (or talk to the staff about being kinder), but it seemed requests were annoying our waitress. I requested tea after I ordered and my hubby was done ordering. She said okay and took off before we had a chance for my hubby to say he'd like one too- so we had to call her back- again! (Another person joined a party of 7 next to us after they were seated and after a while called the waitress over to ask for a menu. Then after another long time, when she asked if she could order, she was told by the waitress that she'd come back after she went and got food for another table. She did return, but by that time everyone else had been served. We asked for knives - bc our setting was lacking (and we oddly couldn't cut the breakfast food with the fork. I also had to get up and ask for sweetener after she had dropped off the tea bags, cups, and hot water. She did return quickly when I'd asked for milk for the tea...Seems it would have been better to come by and ask how things were and if we needed anything!

Eggs Benedict w/ pancake instead of potatoes. Good

Upon entering was surprised at how large the place was located in a shopping area of various businesses. There was a line at the door on a Sunday about 11:00. Someone leaving walked by saying it took a good 45 mins to get there food. Hearing that the two groups ahead of us left. We waited about 10-12 mins to get a table. Our server was quick in bringing water and coffee w/ menus. We both ended up ordering eggs Benedict, it came out about 20-25 mins. not horrible as it was about 3/4 full. Server was attentive refilling often. We both requested SOFT poached eggs but we both had one egg that wasn't. Liked that I could get a pancake in place of hash browns. Every overall was good, coffee mediocre. We'd go back.

Great local restaurant in Gig Harbor, I usually eat here at least once every time I'm here visiting. Very friendly, home style service and food, you can tell this is a local favorite!! I had the tuna salad which was really good, plenty of tuna. Plenty of social distancing for Covid, very clean also!! My fam seems to really enjoy this place, I can see why!!

Yikes. Two stars for the wait. 45 minutes for mediocre food. Just as we were about to leave, our food arrived. Thank goodness the veggie omelette was hot. And my hash browns crispy. The monte cristo was good for diner food. My other friend had a sad plate of over cooked potatoes, eggs, and an underwhelming burger. We ate because we were hungry. The food arrived just before we were debating on leaving. 45 minutes is way too long to wait and make it hard to support local business. I really hate giving two stars. And the kicker? No social distancing for indoor dining. They kept seating people around us. Large parties. ‍ not ok. Sorry folks, pass this spot if it's busy. Not worth the wait.

Fish and chips and brewed coffee.

THE SHORT OF IT: - If you like ciders and/or pinball, this…read moreis your place. THE INSIDE: - About 6 barstools overlook the sunken pit area where pinball lives. I haven't seen the usual setup, but I'm assuming there's usually tables and chairs in the middle. THE FOOD: - Kitchen is currently closed, but outside food is more than welcome. Snack foods (chips, peanuts, similar) available at register. THE CIDERS: - I had a flight and they were all amazing. Standouts were: vanilla bean (sweet but not too sweet; light, refreshing, true vanilla flavor) and dark maple (not saccharine sweet; just on the edge with a dryness and truly outstanding flavor... dangerously delicious). - I kept expecting all of them to be overly sweet; but they all kept surprising me. Watermelon was another favorite. SERVICE: - Quick and kind with a smile. You'll love the vibes. SIDE NOTES: - We traveled from the Seattle area as Locust Cider had the Winchester Mystery House pinball machine on loan for the weekend. Only 500 were made, and this is currently the only one in the state. Your next closest is Next Level Museum in Oregon if you want to play this extraordinary machine. It's worth it! - We came on a salsa lesson night, so most pinball machines were blocked by tables. That's alright because 7 were unblocked and provided plenty of entertainment while the salsa lessons happened. - I think pinball + salsa music + sipping refreshing ciders is the new best way to enjoy a Saturday night. EDIT: some spelling mistakes on my part, oops.

First of all, the property is huge with various areas to hang out in. There's an indoor space downstairs, and upstairs space with a bar and video games, uncovered and covered outdoor patio areas with equipment for live musicians, and a little forested enclave with seating and a fireplace. Beyond their awesome ambiance, their ciders were all varied and delicious. They have 26 taps to choose from. We tried a bunch of their 4oz pours. My favorites turned out to be (surprisingly) their seasonal Chai and their Honey Pear, but each one that I tasted was unique and flavorful. I felt the intentionality in each one. They have a full food menu that includes gluten free tater tots and chicken nuggets. Service was awesome, by the way. Two of the kegs we wanted to try had blown, so the bartender brought us a few extra pours for having to wait. I'm super bummed that I never made it back for a second visit. I implore you to try this place if you haven't!

We usually bring snacks or picnics when paying our respects as my dad was a big foodie. It was pretty dead in the restaurant since it was around 5pm, so we didn't have to wait long for takeout. Not that I expect servers to be too attentive for takeout customers, but since it was so slow, a little banter or seeing if we want a glass of water while waiting would have been nice since it was a really hot day. Not sure if service would have been better if we dined in or not. As far as food went, my husband who isn't as picky about barbecue was really satisfied. He got the coffee brisket and I was surprised how strong the coffee flavor was. I'm not a coffee drinker at all so it was prevalent to me, whereas my husband who does drink coffee said he couldn't taste it. So the verdict of whether the coffee flavor is strong or not might need more tasters! :p the ribs were the best for sure! We both loved them and they definitely were tender! Would go back for those if we're in the area. Finally, the Mac Daddiest was really good and a pretty good portion. In general, the portions were generous and there was enough food for us to enjoy two meals out of it!
