Very disappointing experience at Scooters. The bartenders were confrontational and unprofessional, and I was kicked out despite being completely sober and not causing any problems. I was accused of being hostile even though I barely said anything and was simply defending myself against accusations that were not true. The owner insulted me and claimed I was "lit" simply because he looked at our tab, even though several of the drinks listed were not consumed by me. We have always tipped very well, have NEVER caused problems, and usually keep to ourselves. One bartender even threatened to fight my wife, which was completely unacceptable and crossed every line of professionalism. I was also charged for drinks I didn't even get to finish. Honestly, this is not the place to go if you're looking for a relaxed or enjoyable date-night environment, especially if you're not there to get drunk. The atmosphere felt hostile instead of welcoming. The only bartender there who has consistently been respectful and professional is Rocky. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience completely turned me away from coming back. read more

Jimmy's is a wonderful place to just relax and chill while enjoying good food. Their bacon double cheeseburger may be one of the best I've ever had! It hits all the right spots for meaty, cheesy yumminess! I've gone back several times and their biscuits and gravy is great too as are their wings. I've not had a bad meal here! read more

Unfortunately ever since the bartender with the electric bike & the bartender with the dreads left, this place has been disappointing. Not sure if new owners took over, but they have been out of ice twice recently, 2 inches of foam in draft beers consistently, I think the tap lines are off, the vibe just isn't the same. read more

You can tell exactly what this place is just by looking at it. Don't get me wrong - I'm a fan of a good dive bar! The weird parking, adjoined to a shut down wrecking yard, awkward yellow/orange exterior paint, the reader board that announces they are always looking for a cook ....these are all cues. You can expect a good pour on your cocktails, basic beers (some even served in cans) and deeply fried, not worth writing home about food. It's mildly clean, at best but the staff is decent and the people watching is legit. Jimmys is one of those joints that's been around forever, and looks like it. It's got a good batch of loyal customers and they keep it rolling. It also benefits from being one of the only eating/drinking establishments in the area. It's not good - it's not bad - it's not going to change and honestly, I don't hate that. Not everything needs to be stellar food served in clean areas. read more

This place was AWESOME! We had the Prime Rib Melts and Jo Jos. I am TELLING you that you have to go here to eat!!! The Prime rib sandwiches were the best we've had in a VERY long time. We thought this place was great! It's a dive bar that had great music playing from the juke box, the staff was efficient and friendly, and although the place was clearly packed with regulars we felt very welcome. We didn't get the chance to try the food (because we were waiting to pick up pizzas next door), but their burgers looked and smelled delicious. We'll absolutely stop back in the next time we're in the area. read more

Taco Tuesday is terrible..don't do it. Super bad. Beans and rice were old and cold. Taco meat was not good, lettuce was limp and the cheese was pre shredded. Not good at all. Waitress and bar maids were great. Food was not. read more

Our first time since moving to the KP. It is definitely a pub. Pool table and good music. Greeted right after we walked in by Charice. Very friendly gal. Masks on everyone working and folks when they got us from their tables. Our drink orders were taken right away and then we ordered food. It took less then 15 minutes to get our orders. We both ordered the chicken fried steak. It was deliciousness at a very good price. It came smothered in sausage gravy, with corn on the cob, Texas toast and cottage fries. More food then I could eat. Their daily specials all looked yummy so I'm sure we'll be back to try something different. read more

Food is good that's why I come back when I am in the area. However when you walk in not one single person is wearing a mask...umm okay I was kinda in shock especially when a patron of the bar was walking to the bathroom and coughed. This was no little cough either and there was no attempt to cover their mouth. One can only assume they didn't wash their hands while in there. There is always a Groupon for this establishment too and it's a good deal. I have never stayed there to eat I call my order in go get it and go home to eat because even pre COVID I would have found not covering your mouth when coughing and not washing hands gross. read more

We ordered their Mother's Day special. It was our first time eating at or ordering from jimmy Ds. Very pleasantly surprised. Steak was cooked perfectly, despite the almost 1/2 hour drive home. For 24.99 we got steak, lobster tail. Asparagus. Baked potato with all of the fixings. Texas toast and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was excellent. I drive past here everyday going home. I will definitely get takeout here again. I'm trying their fish and chips next. read more

Found our new favorite place!! We moved close to Jimmys a few months ago but just recently tried it out The specials are fantastic. For 5 bucks for a burger and brew I was expecting to get what I paid for I couldn't have been more wrong The burger was fantastic we came back a couple of days later and the pub burger was even better. Their food is terrific really enjoyed it. The only downside is their curb appeal it doesn't look great by any means from the outside but once inside it's clean, open and inviting. Don't let the outside cause you to miss a great meal!!! read more

This is kinda a hole in the wall but they have great food. On Mondays they have a burger , fries and a beer for $5 you cant beat that and the burger is delicious. My favorite is Fridays fish and chips , yummy they have the beer batter cod and its so good. Also Taco Tuesday they use fresh cilantro and they're yummy but you only get 2 and I can eat 3 or 4 so wish they would give the option for extra taco for a buck or something. read more

I have been coming here a bit because it's close. The food is blah and the crowd is an "eclectic" mix if you get my drift. But the last time is my last. It was a Friday afternoon and the business was brisk. There was this one gentleman who was obviously a regular and was wearing a t-shirt that said F**k Islam in huge letters. Nobody said anything and he was allowed to be served. I'm not a muslim and have a high tolerance for BS but dammit that was a bit much. I guarantee you he would be escorted out if he wore that shirt at the Tides Tavern, The Float, Hee Hees or just about anywhere else. But he is allowed to wear it there. If that is the kind of place you want hang out at then go for it. For me I want just a little less drama. read more

Funky dirty bar, with marginal service and burnt food. Went in a few months ago to try the place out. My son and I ordered the fish and chips and a beer each. After about 30 minutes I could smell something burning. I joked with my Son and said that's probably our fish and chips burning. Our food came out shortly after that...guess what it was burned. Weve been here a handful of times, trying to like it since there are no other pubs within the area. We've been ignored by the women servers/bartender. The food is all assembled and cooked via microwave. We ordered fries with our beers and after 30 Minutes, still no fries... This place should be closed down by the health department. read more

This is definitely a dive, we hesitated to come in, but are so glad we did! the folks at Jimmy's welcome you like you are a guest in their home. Bartenders/servers are awesome. The owner's have created an "at home" feel to their business. Community is important to them and they value their customers and constantly show customer support in the things that they do. We are visiting in Gig Harbor for several weeks. We kept passing this place and noticing all the cars. They usually have a different food special posted on a sighn everyday. We stopped by last night and had a great time! It is a bar. You can tell it is a local favorite. Everyone seemed to know each other. Nothing fancy, a little dark, and a little old fashioned. Brad Paisley was playing on the jukebox , people playing pool, and they were throwing darts, They are even having a dart tournament where you can win a turkey!
