This place is a perfect. A fun setting on the water right by a beach and playground for the kiddos to play at. Their food and drinks were good too! Live music on Wednesday and Saturday.

This gets a 5 Star for view. Limited menu so went to Scoreboard across the street (which actually manages the pavilion.) Didn't get drinks as they don't have Budweiser nor ability to make a mixed drink. Only stayed 5 minutes. Sorry. Great view!

Beautiful view, flatbreads were awesome especially the firecracker. It was wonderful to sit and relax watching the sunset enjoying a beer and flatbread. Loved that at the tables there was a sign that said sanitized to let you know they were clean and I appreciate all the precautions they are taking to keep everyone safe during this time

Why does Long Grove always feel like some magical far away place when it's really much closer to me…read morethan most places I go? It's probably because of spots like this. When my yelp friends check-in places I always take a peek and add the interesting stuff to my massive and unorganized list of anything and everything I could ever want to try... this place popped up a few times, and I do love good pastries, so I had to make a trip. I say pastries but what really sold me was the pizza slice a buddy got, a savory excuse always helps. I got there before the dinner rush. I know that because it was calm when I got in line, though the line was full. When I left the place was crowded. There are actually 2 lines. One for savory and one for sweet. So like I said, I was here for that pizza slice... and I got it. I'm not sure if they make more throughout the day but there were just a few slices left that I could see. Score! But I do want to say that the more filling pasta dishes and such look AMAZING. I saw gorgonzola garlic bread and had to try that as well... and an arancini. Everything really looked so good, I wanted it all. It's a good thing I love bread because I ate a lot of it here! Great flavor and texture on the garlic bread, I love the little funk from the cheese. Arancini was fried up nicely and didn't retain excess oil. The slice is really good. It's a fair warning that it's about 90% bread, but I understand they make their own dough here and it shows. The crust is so crispy and airy, it's a nice experience. Next up, dessert. I grabbed a Nutella croissant and some gelato, both delicious! The gelato was rich and creamy. The croissant, which they fill to order with your choice of flavors, is another flex on how good their dough and bread baking skills are. Perfect texture, no notes. Would and will eat again. Amazing atmosphere that feels like a quick vacation, and outdoor tables perfect for the warm season. Friendly and inviting staff as well, they tried to sell me on the pear flavor gelato. Maybe next time. This is a not so hidden gem of a spot and a must try for bread lovers! I'll be back soon for pasta and more!

Most every dish was very dry or doughy. The cannoli's were fried too hard almost like egg rolls. We didn't realize till we got home that our daughter's dessert was missing after verifying three times with the staff what we ordered. If you're looking for Italian food skip this place. *** Almost forgot. Get rid of the young kids that are servers. They have no idea what they're doing. They seem very confused. Food was not brought out in a timely manner and Luke warm when we received it. Also re organize how you check out it can be very confusing with the impatient and hot headed customers that Dine there.

I have been to Craving Gyros two times total, and both the times I have had good food and service…read more On my first visit, I had their Gyros sandwich and fries, and in my recent visit, I had their gyro burger and jalapeños cheddar poppers. Upon entering the restaurant, I checked out their menu on the wall above the ordering counter. I was craving a burger but was also in the mood to have a gyro. My eyes fell upon their gyros burger ($6.99). It came on a toasted brioche bun with a beef patty, gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, and tzatziki sauce. This was the perfect item I could have ordered on this visit. I love a good gyros burger. I have had it a few times before elsewhere. I also ordered cheesy garlic bread, jalapeños cheddar poppers, and a fountain drink. The food came out shortly after ordering. My burger looked so good that I could hardly wait to dig in. The cheesy garlic bread was placed together, looking like a sandwich instead of cut-up flat pieces of bread. It was good in taste. The jalapeño cheddar poppers were hot and fresh. My very first bite of the gyros burger was full of flavor. I tasted everything that was in the burger. The gyro meat and the beef patty were flavorful and cooked properly. The tzatziki sauce added a nice touch to the flavor of the burger. The brioche bun was soft and toasted just the right way. Overall, I had a good experience again, just like I did on my first visit. The service was good, the prices were reasonable, the restaurant was clean and inviting. The restaurant is located at a busy intersection. Their parking is adjacent to the building that houses the restaurant and one or two other shops. Check out Craving Gyros if you haven't before. It is definitely worth a visit and more. I look forward to going back here again.

Great quality food and friendly, quick service. Great place to stop in for a quick lunch or dinner.read more
