Great breakfast! First time trying, since our normal place was closed for a holiday. Called ahead and they let us get on the list, which was a huge help with the 30 minute wait. Not a huge amount of seating, but they were able to get us a 6 person table. Very clean, and welcoming waitresses. Service was prompt for drinks and ordering, but a long wait for food. Not an issue since we had nowhere to be, and could be an issue for those on a tight schedule. Could have also just been a one off that day. Dealbreaker for me on breakfast places is the coffee, and the coffee here was perfect. Not old/burned, or fancy/bitter, just good coffee. Food was absolutely on point. Fajita omelet, breakfast burritos were delicious, and the fried potatoes were great. I will be dining here again TLDR: Nice staff, good coffee, delicious food.

The food was tasty. Stopped here on the way home. Service was fast and friendly and everyone enjoyed their meals: eggs, omelette, breakfast sandwich, etc. Tasty crispy bacon! Seemed like a bunch of locals and regulars in there and the vibe was casual, place was small, but we liked it.

Great staff that was super friendly. Food was good and a great portion. It came out in a timely manner and you couldn't beat the views.

What fantastic find. Great food at very reasonable prices. I would expect higher prices due to the area. I got the Hungry Boater. Huge meal that has 3 eggs, pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, a piece of ham, home fries and toast. Burp! So good.

Old diner vibes, friendly staff and love supporting local like this. I'd ask for the home fries well done next time cause some of the potatoes were cold (but they had great seasoning). Other than that food was your average diner comfort food! A great location in Meredith with a water view and walking distance from the docks and Mills Falls area!

We have been here a million times and it is always amazing !!! Best poached eggs around

Best breakfast place around the lakes region !!! my husband and I have been everywhere but this is our favorite. We go here very frequently. It is always consistent, best poached eggs around and the best bacon around. Everything is cooked fresh and a very friendly catering staff can't wait to go back next weekend.!!!!

Food was really good! Portion sizes were very generous. Staff was friendly but salty.

Waitress taking orders with her mask off

We chose this brunch spot on a weekend visit because they offered some outdoor seating. While waiting for our name to be called we noticed that the waitress serving the outside tables was wearing her mask incorrectly (under her nose) and then TOOK THE MASK OFF while taking orders not even two feet away from patrons. We immediately took our names off the waitlist and switched to takeout instead. It seemed like this place was pretty understaffed but they forgot about our order until the hostess came out and saw we were still hanging around. When we came in to grab the food and pay, the same waitress was not wearing her mask INSIDE. I get that NH is a state with so-so mask adherence, but I expect businesses to comply with the state rules at a minimum. And by the way, the food was lukewarm and mediocre at best. So if you want a one-stop shop for bad food and COVID, by all means, check it out. [one redeeming aspect of the visit was the bubbly hostess, so do say hi to her.] We went to 48 Main for coffee after and saw they have great breakfast food and outdoor seating - save your time and head straight there.

Great food and great service, try the Buffalo tenders! We went in January so plenty of parking available and got right in for lunch.

On our first visit, I had the Beet and Feta Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was fantastic, and one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. The salad was extremely fresh, with greens from local farmers. It was the best lettuce I've ever had, and when I tried to find out what kind it was, I wish told it was spring mix. It didn't look like any spring mix I've ever had, but it was such sweet, delicious and crunchy lettuce. The beets were also great, with both red and golden varieties. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfect. My dining partner got the Duck Confit Tacos. He did not care for that for a number of different reasons. In the first place, it should've been served on a different type of plate, as it was very messy and most of it was falling off the very narrow plate. He doesn't like a lot of mess. It likely would have been better had they left all the toppings off, to add them as you want them. There was way too much on top of the duck, which buried the taste. It was impossible to pick up, and very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. Plus they added too much cheese, and he doesn't like cheese much. It was not a dish he would order again. On our next visit, I had the Seafood Linguine. It came packed with fresh seafood with lots of mussels. It was a very generous portion, with plenty to take home for another meal. My partner had the grilled burger, which he quickly devoured. He said that was one great burger! On our next visit, we stopped in for a late lunch. It was a dreary, rainy day, and the weather was on the cool side. So we opted for soup. My partner got the Clam Chowder and I opted for the French Onion. They both hit the spot. My partner loved that burger so much, he ordered it again. I opted for a Grilled Veggie Sandwich, which was not as good as my salad choice a few nights earlier, but it was OK. All in all, we enjoyed all three of our visits here. I'd be happy to return again when in the area.

Two burgers ordered medium were instead cooked well done, and a veggie bowl with rice was served with the most poorly cooked rice I've ever seen in a restaurant. It was a solid bowl-shaped mound of gummy rice mush. And when I asked if there was a non-dairy alternative to the naan it should have come with, I was told no but I suspect the waiter just didn't want to ask. The restaurant itself was nice enough, but we were seated near the bar, which was noisier than I would have preferred. (Mostly from the very chatty bartender) I'm sure they would have preferred being told at the time, but I wasn't interested in sending back 3 out of 5 meals. But eating out has gotten too expensive to accept meals that poor. It was $190 with tip for five. (No alcohol, but 3 mocktails) My son liked the Thai salmon.

This is a lovely restaurant that sits alongside Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a number of seating choices including bar, high top and conventional tables, many with views of the lake. This time of the year, the views of the snow-covered frozen lake are gorgeous. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner, which frankly was a disappointment. The menu includes a good variety of starters, appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. Two of us ordered the Flat Iron Steak. I realize this is usually a chewier cut of meat, but this was so tough it was inedible. Our server and the manager both could not have been nicer in terms of how they handled this as I returned mine and was quickly brought a different dinner- a French Dip sandwich. This was tasty but there was more bread than roast beef. The other person chose to keep her flat iron streak, but I could tell it was very difficult to cut and chew. Another ordered the Chicken Milanese Salad which included arugula, peppers, roasted tomatoes and olives in a balsamic dressing. The Parmesan crusted pan fried chicken came over-done but that meal was well-liked. The service and the ambiance were stellar.

Portion sizes are pretty massive. My dining partner got the meatloaf dish. It was absolutely ginormous! We were in an Airbnb without a full kitchen, so though we took it with us, he never did eat it. It was heavily glazed with something he did not like. Had it been glazed with a little lighter hand, he probably would not have minded it. But he did not like that flavor at all. The mac & cheese was good but again heavier than he likes to eat. The seafood dish I had, on the other hand, was very good. It had plenty of pieces of lobster in it, as well as generous portions of shellfish. The broth was also excellent. As this is a pricier place, we only made one trip during our 13-day stay. It is worth a visit here, and you'll likely get enough for a second meal. There were lots of good choices on the menu. I originally thought to give this place 5 stars based on my dish, but due to the fact that my dining partner did not make any effort to eat the rest of his meal he took home because he said he didn't like it enough, that took a star away.

We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken quickly but took a long time to come out. Our appetizers came out quicker and honestly were amazing. We ordered canoe bread, grilled cheese and tomatoes, crispy orange chicken, and sweet and sour calamari. Everything was delicious and I wish we had stopped at appetizers. Next came salads; two of us asked for extra dressing and half our salad was gone before it arrived. We also had to ask for another round of drinks even though our cups were empty. Dinner took forever to come out and only six of our seven meals came out. We tried to wait for the final meal but it was taking so long and our meals were already cold, they came out cold. The final meal came out and the salmon was raw. My guess is they forgot about the salmon and tried to make it quickly. We sent it back and they literally threw it back on the grill but let the side sit. Every dinner was cold and the two steaks were over done and cold. Our waitress, Melinda, never once asked how it was. We again had to ask for another round of drinks which again took an absurd amount of time to come out. Here's the thing normally at this point I would have left but we were there celebrating my birthday and everyone wanted to stay for dessert to celebrate. Dessert was even more disappointing than our main meals. I ordered the cinnamon roll and it tasted store bought and wasn't even warmed up. Our table also ordered the carrot cake (more like half frozen spice cake), the chocolate chip lava cake (no lava), and the triple chocolate cake (meh). Again the waitress never checked in. We finally had enough and when I saw the waitress I gave her a card to run so we could be done I honestly thought it was going to take her forever to bring us the bill and luckily it didn't. $505.65 before tip. $505.65 and the majority of our meal was terrible. $605.65 after tip which was 20% and 100% not deserved. The cherry on top was a manager never came by after we sent raw salmon back and they left it on the bill. Personally I don't care so much about the money but the fact that a manager never came by is mind blowing. That's restaurant 101. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant that truly started off so good.
