Today we had an inspection done & new roof quote provided by Reece & Justin. We were not prepared for a new roof but knew the day was coming that it needed replacing. A few days ago I had a really nice and professional young man come by the door to explain about this company "SunTrust Remodeling" from Irvine who does home remodeling, repair, and other things home improvement related. He asked what things we're interested in and what home improvement ideas on the outside he had recommended. Then after a few mins we were able to set us up on a future consultation a few days later to have a person come in the house to better explain things and give us a quote when the person does come by. I explained to them that currently we may not be in the budget for the things we have in mind because we just had our roof replaced as well as the rafters/facias etc. They were okay with that. They confirmed with a phone call the same day to let us know what day and time works best for us to have them come. Anyways when that somebody did come by that's when we met "Travis S." who was absolutely professional, kind, courteous, and someone who we knew was a person who cares about addressing all your concerns about what things you want and need within the budget. He walked around and took some pictures, measurements, and walked us throughout our house to show some areas that need attention and what they will do to address them. Once he was done we scheduled another appointment for the quote so my cousin would be present with his wife to sit together with "Travis S" in a couple days which I don't mind. When the day came it was late evening because that is what time we agreed when my cousin and his wife would be free after their walk, dinner, and work. Again we met with Travis, myself, my cousin, and my cousin's wife was too afraid and shy to meet Travis. Travis was so friendly and we appreciated him taking the time to discuss, talk about his company SunTrust, the material for the paint which is what we were first interested in doing. At the end of the day me and my cousin definitely like to say thank you to Travis S for explaining so patiently and willingly to answer all our questions. The quote he gave us was also positive and options were very reasonable. I would totally recommend SunTrust and Travis S who sat down with us in my next home painting project. I wanted to update my review now that I got to speak with the construction manager Eric. He came out so that we could talk about what went wrong during the process and came to apologize in person for what had happened. He also provided further insight as to what happened and why communication broke down so much during our job. Overall, it was a very good discussion and he even offered to do a service at charge for us down the line to show that they were sincerely sorry. My issue had never really been with the quality of the work, but with the communication before and during the job so it was nice to feel like I was heard and that there would be feedback given to the respective teams on what they could improve on next. While we're not ready to take on any more projects at this moment, I feel much better recommending them to other people. read more

They drive around knocking on doors offering free quotes. And I asked for a ball park minimum. Said he can't Inspectors came on the appointed date and still couldn't give me quote because I'm 50\50% owner and my brother needs to be present. And there's absolutely ZEROOOOOOOOO post about pricing or quotes. When they are schtick is offering free quotes. Seems extremely weird and fishy to not allow or probably get any review about actual pricing deleted. What a big show and dance hassle to get a free quote. Knock on my door and say we do free quote. Gave no quote. Manager called to set an appt. Can't ball park a quote. Can't eve say like 5k-20k?????????? Inspectors come and access and still don't quote me. read more

He talked about being licensed, bonded, and insured as important requirements to look for in any contractor. They also offered financing with reputable financial institutions.
