My first time visiting this location as I typically go to the Price St. location in Flushing. Found this spot very convenient next to the Forest Hills-71st AVE subway station. Placed order and waited about 10 minutes, not bad during the evening rush and ppl coming in to grab dinner. The dumplings and beef scallion pancakes were delicious. A couple tables available here and a long counter to enjoy your meal and the great view of bustling Queens Blvd. Staff was friendly and efficient. Check them out if you haven't already.

Small space if you're going with a few ppl. More of a take out place. Soup dumplings taste good but it doesn't have a traditional feel. Service is fine and food can take a bit of time so order ahead. Not bad just not my personal favorite. Good for take out !

I love how they opened an express location of Nan Xiang here in Forest Hills. The actual shop is mostly takeout friendly, but it *does* have seating (only 2-3 tables and then some window seats). I have gotten soup dumplings and the shrimp fried rice to go and also tried the beef noodle soup. The soup dumplings and fried rice were both excellent, very flavorful and generous portions. The beef noodle soup I found to be just ok, the beef was tender but soup was on the bland side. I would definitely go back for the soup dumplings though. Only knocked a star off for that beef noodle soup, but it is closer to a 4.5/5 in my opinion.

My first visit to Nan Xiang Express was excellent! I planned to order three dishes--Crab Meat & Pork Soup Dumplings, Steamed Vegetable Dumplings, and Fried Noodles with Vegetables--but I wasn't sure which vegetables were in the last two. My server, Jenny, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She explained that the vegetable dumplings are made with carrot, Shanghai bok choy, and glass noodles, and the fried noodles include wood ear mushrooms, Shanghai bok choy, and tofu skin. Thanks to her clear explanation, I ordered with confidence. Jenny also kindly brought all three dishes to my table without me having to ask. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Her kindness and clear communication made my first visit truly enjoyable.

Two star off because this location is very tiny and hard to find seats....... No restroom :( Good vibes and friendly service. If you don't mind my review, I highly recommended.

Passed by Nan Xiang Express twice and I had to read Yelp reviews which did not disappoint. Omg! The food here is amazing. Love love the Shrimp Fried Udon and the pork soup dumplings. Well seasoned and flavorful. Staff is helpful when ordering. There is a menu on the counter by the register where you can review to decide on which items to order. My neck was getting strained from lifting my head up to see their huge menu board. The restaurant is pretty small but there are definitely chairs and tables you can sit to enjoy your meal. Pretty red bag is where your food is placed to pick up order. Our food was pipping hot by the time we got home. Items are packaged well for no spillage. Will be back to try their other items.

I came her on Saturday for dinner. It was amazing amazing experience form when I walked in to when I left. Jenny who was at the front helped me and was amazing. She told me to download the app and I saved $10.00 on my order. This was my second time having Nan Xiang and my first time I was not impressed. This time I would say it was good and I would definitely go to other locations. I ordered the scallion pancake beef and the pork soup dumplings. The pork soups dumplings were good; they had a good amount of soup and did not break. The scallion beef pancakes were good but I prefer the scallion pancake without beef. The scallion pancakes was well cooked and crispy without being greasy. I enjoyed both items very much and look forward to trying other items. I recommend this place fully.

The restaurant is partitioned up into several different rooms where they will push carts in and out of the rooms themselves. I was seated in some place that almost looked like a back room, but it was still decorated in the dim sum restaurant kind of theme. Service itself was pretty consistent. We didn't have to wait too long to get any of the desired dishes that we wanted. Ambience: I think your typical staple dim sum restaurant ambiance was here. Definitely felt very conversational with family. Was not too quiet or too loud. Food: I don't think that the dim sum here was that good. It didn't wow me as much as I was expecting it to. I initially saw this on one of the Michelin Guide website, and I was expecting a little more out of this place. Of all the places that I've had dim sum at, I just feel like this was more okay rather than anything special. For example the shumai didn't have that "juicy bite" kind of feel that you usually get. Again, nothing about this restaurant was bad per se, but I just felt like this was in the lower tier of all the dim sum places that I've had. I think for this reason, it gets a 3/5 for me.

We came for dim sum and stayed for lunch. I loved that the rice rolls were made only if someone ordered them. My fav is the shrimp rice roll. One thing to note is that the dining room feels a bit tight, especially with the traditional dim sum carts moving around the aisles. Parking was easy since there's free parking nearby, which is definitely a plus. This business is a local cafe, not quite a restaurant but very Asian specifically a medley of Chinese dumplings and heavy Japanese decor atmosphere. I was very bewildered of this dumpling business is Japanese or Chinese cuisine, or possibly both incorporated? Asian fusion? Japanese beckoning cat, maneki-neko 招き猫, is heavy presence for decor atmosphere throughout the entire cafe. There is one large Japanese beckoning cat with one paw raised in a beckoning gesture by the cash wrap register. This beckoning cat is adorable! This business is located in a small shopping complex named Metro Plaza. Chicken dumpling noodle soup, $12.00 The dumplings were pan seared fried, unfortunately not traditionally boiled especially for noodle soup. The dumplings are average. The noodles were rice vermicelli with half boiled egg and scallions in Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen soup base broth. I did not taste the Jasmine aromatic flavor. Stay away from ordering any drink as Song Dumpling Cafe is good for dumplings. It is certainly no bubble tea business to obtain quality Chinese tea.
