My husband and I stopped here for lunch this afternoon and we LOVED it!! The food was absolutely delicious with HUGE portions, the service was excellent, and the price was great! We ordered the half chicken that comes with two sides (got fried rice and beans) and we also ordered the fried plantains. The chicken was moist, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The rice and beans had great flavor and the fried plantains were sweet and delicious. All of this was just $15 with tax and tip! We'll definitely return, and we'll try to refrain from devouring it all right away so we can take a picture next time! Four thumbs up! read more

The best Lomo Saltado in the area ... IMHO. Service is excellent and the staff is eager to please. Portions of good size and good overall value. Although the menu is large the SC folks seem to stick close to the Peruvian roots. Some of the dishes which stray from tradition tend to get a bit muddled but you shouldn't be going to a Peruvian restaurant for burgers and fries. I'm a regular at Super Chicken and every time I go, it gets better and better! True, authentic Peruvian cuisine and offerings! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the ceviche de pescado, salsa criolla, and yellow rice! The minute we walked into Super Chicken, we knew it was going to be good because there was a large crowd in there. We were right! Their chicken really is super as is everything else we tried such as the yucca, yellow rice, fries, and beans. Their menu also contains more than just the standard fare you find at most other "Pollo ala brassa" restaurants. I ate here on 12/29/14...I was told that they have the best peruvian chicken, while the chicken was cooked well the flavor was mediocre. It was served warm and not hot. I saw that just about everything was cooked before hand and served out of warmers. A customers food should be served HOT!!! Honestly the worst Peruvian meal I've ever had. Yuca was dried and hard, ribs were crystallized like they'd been frozen and nuked twelve times. The chicken was ok at best. They raved about the empanadas and the saltenas, yea...don't waste your breath or your money! I wouldn't go back if it were the last restaurant on earth. I have ordered before from Super Chicken but had always stuck to the Chicken which is awesome....I decided to order a variety, first the cheese steak was simply said awful! It melted on my hands soaked with mayo and grease that smelled weird...i could not even eat this do not get this unless you like to use a spoon for your subs. I am sad i liked this place. the salad was missing something other than the romain lettuce which was needed BIG TIME. I like the lomo saltado, and churrasco a la pobre and poor hamburger, but for a better value get the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with sides. I would prefer if the beans were refried. I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered online for delivery. After 1 hr and 20 minutes passed I tried to call the place and guess what? their phone was disconnected. I tried so many times I decided to contact Eat24 to see how they can help. They tried to call and same thing. They askes me to give them a few more time. I ordered from another place amd my food was delivered within 20 min.After 2 hours I told them I needed my money back. The Eat24 rep was very helpful and my money was refunded. Today was my first visit and the chicken was amazing and moist! I've been working in manassas for a little while and was checking yelp for some good food recommendations. This was close by and I'm glad I tried it out based on all of the reviews. I had the quarter chicken with yucca and beans. Yucca was a little too dry for me but the beans and chicken was perfect! The green sauce that was included was just spicy enough. I wish I had more of the dipping sauce . I devoured the food in about 5 minutes. I love super chicken! I have tried a few other Peruvian chicken restaurants and this one is by far the best. Any time I am near Manassas, I make sure to stop there because the food is amazing and the price is right. I was able to get a meal that fed 3 adults for less than $15. I love their chicken fried rice and the yellow sauce is out of this world. I would recommend super chicken to anyone who is looking for a quick, delicious meal on a budget.
