I usually come here for a mani and pedi and the girls here are wonderful, but today I came in to get my hair done. Gina is the best, she's done my hair twice and anyone who's done my hair knows it's a lot of work. It's super thick and course and I like keeping it long. Today she did touch up highlights and balayage, but most importantly (to me anyway) is that she trimmed it. As you can see in the pictures that's exactly what Gina did, trim it. When you ask her to take an inch and a half off that's what she does. I'm always satisfied with the work Gina has done and the color doesn't turn orange afterwards and it still looks good after a couple washes, no special shampoo needed. I've only been here 3 times in the past 7 or 8 years I've been in LB because they're not close to my house but the ladies are very nice. They do a great job and offer free beverages. This was my first visit here for a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I was greeted right away which important to me. When I went to sit in the chair it had no back support. The area smelled odd. Maybe from the old furniture. The customer service was really good. The pedicure was thorough and even got the ingrown nails without me even having to ask. I've been coming here for 15 years and have always had a very good experience. I don't do anything except basic pedicures and they have always been great at cleaning my feet and taking out my ingrown nails. The basic pedicure was $15 for the longest time and I believe they just increased their prices to $18. Well worth the price in my opinion. read more

My daughter, mom and I have been getting our mani/pedis here for over 15 years. Talk about cleanliness!!! Have never had any issues-a huge plus! And the manager and workers always go above and beyond to assure you are happy and taken care of. They always offer you a beverage (water, soda, wine, beer) and make sure you're comfortable. I'm a bit of a perfectionist about my bails and they never disappoint! I ALWAYS receive compliments on my nails from friends, families and even strangers! She had great suggestions on how to lighten my hair without damaging it. She even gave my hair a treatment to make it softer. Big difference. You can tell she cares about what she does. The point of SNS nails is that you don't have to put your hand under a UV light like regular Gel nails and also it doesn't have the acrylic powder smell. The manicurist recommended that I do the SNS clear nails and then use a gel nail color requiring UV light afterwards to make it last longer. They charge about 40 for the SNS powder and a regular nail polish color service. If I wanted SNS colored powdered nails, it costs more. If I add the gel nail under the UV light it cost more. It was totally weird to me. I wasn't impressed with the work. read more

Legit told my idiot nail tech I wanna es to get rid of my fake nails and do dip powder on my natural nails. This bitch said okay even repeated what I said to her bsck to be then proceed to cut my natural nails and glue in fake nails! Then even after I fucking told her with attitude I said I didn't want fake nails and ONCE AGAIN REPEATED MYSELF she continues to file the nails and asked d what shaped I wanted. I was already pissed bc the bitch legit straight up ignored me I told her oval with attitude and she started rushing to finish literally yanking my fucking arm to get closer to her so she can file my nails rude ass bitch. My nails looks terrible not even oval shaped they look deformed. Literally stratches all over my nails, legit a spot missing the top coat. I got my hair colored by Gina and she did a fabulous job! I asked for Ombré but she assured me the technique baylage (?) was best. She spent a long time painting the color on and in the end it was beautiful! She said I didn't need to come back for 6 months and that it will grow out beautifully. My hair is shoulder length and my color is light brown. She just made it a few shades lighter and very natural looking! I will go back again! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I took my 7 year old cousin to get a mani and a pedi for her birthday and I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. First off the lady scolded my cousin for moving and barely messing up her toes. Who yells at someone else's kid? The lady that took off my gel manicure didn't even take it off right. She filed the gel off cut everyone of my fingers and kept telling me I didn't want to the color I picked out. Ok, so this place rocks as far as cleanliness, convenience, friendly staff, and free Diet Coke! I get my eyebrows done by Hannah. She is a perfectionist. She takes her time and delivers fabulous results every single time. My nails are usually done by either Michelle or Holly. They are both very good. I have yet to receive a cut from either one of them. As far as pedicures, I will pretty much see any of the lovely gals there. They always do a great job! read more

I went to this nail salon because it is walking distance from home. the place looks really nice, but the service is TERRIBLE!!! The workers are trying to do your nails while watching TV....what the heck!!! .... she was filing my nail while watching TV and was hurting my toe, i had to call her attention then she got an attitute and started talking her lenguage! They play awesome weird things on their tv, such as funny clip shows or Janet Jackson music videos but - I walked in yesterday and sat down for ten minutes and NO ONE even so much as said hello or acknowledged my presence in any way! Seeing as the girls that cut your hair can't ever understand what you're saying and vice versa, their only advantage was their lower prices. Just got a pair of acrylics (first pair since I was a teen-ager!) and I am very pleased with the work. The salon has a nice vibe to it, and the operators are very pleasent and eager to please. I had "Holly" and she really was patient with me while I mirco-managed the shape to death (I'm very picky). When I apologized for being so detailed she replied "You're the one paying. You should be happy!" That made me feel so good. She really did a nice job! I will definitely go back! Oh, and they have a punch card for $10 off of a service after 10 visits. I haven't been here in a few months, but this is the cleanest nail salon I have been to in at least 15 years. When I was here last everyone spoke English, that in it's self is a major obstacle. They are a little pricier than many of the other local shops, but run coupons in the penny saver frequently. I thought it was worth the extra few dollars for the cleanliness. The parking situation isn't the best, if you are not helped the moment you walk in the door you have better park in the back. If you plan to go on a monday am after you drop off your kids at school you had best make an apointment, or you will wait, or be asked to come back in an hour (in all honesty I don't mind walking around window shopping for that hour since I know it will be an hour... unlike some others who will tell you wait, and let you wait and wait, and wait somemore). And the best part, pay when your nails are DONE, and dry, and HAPPY WITH THEM, imagine that! And I have goobered them up at the car door and gone back in and they have fixed it, no charge. They do try to up-sell you more, leg mask $5-$10, calius remover $5, flower $5, french manicure $5, while most of the extras were actually worth the price, it does add up pretty fast. read more

This place is awful! I'm really wishing I would have read the reviews before going here. Basically, they tried to up sell me the entire time I was there. No, I do not want gel nails! Also, when it was time to leave all I had was my uggs. It was really cold so I happened to be wearing closed toed shoes. I figured they would give me those cheap slippers that every other nail salon gives you. Nope! They told me I could either buy slippers or I would have to walk out of there with no shoes on. I have been going here for over 10 years and the service is either great or horrible. Today was the last time I will visit. I made an appointment for my niece to have a facial at 4:15. We arrived at 4 and was told at 4:10 it would be another "10 min or so" because the woman we had an appt with took a walk in for a pedicure who came in after we were already there. So that was fine, I just figured she would start the ped and take my niece on time. Well at 4:35 Mindy was still giving the walk-in her pedicure so I stood up and said we will just reschedule upon which Mindy said "okay thank you"! As if she was happy I was leaving. Why in the world would you take on a pedicure which takes 30 min at minimum when you already have an appointment waiting? This was going to be my niece's first facial so she was already nervous and to keep her waiting was unprofessional. I just would like to say that I found a this place through an advertisement and I brought my mother, sister, and daughter with me. The experience we had was an ok one at best. We all had pedicures and manicures, and our paint chipped on all of ours by the very next day. They did not massage for any of us, and when we went to pay, they were expecting a tip and were very rude about olny giving them $3 each. Im sorry, but I will NEVER return! Unfortunately when I went with friends 2 weeks ago our group had to be divided up and the members who had appointments for 3 were taken a half hour late because the ladies took the others without appointments first. When we finally were being attended to our ladies were not polite and were trying to upsell us the entire time and did not bother asking what we wanted for specific things and only did the most expensive things without informing us. The lady who did my acrylics did not cover the entire nail with the powder so there was sections that chipped because they were uneven. Then my nails began to bubble and raise from my natural nail which was very painful and caused the acrylic to break. I would not have minded that if it was the full two weeks I expected rather than barely 7 days. And our group went in a few days before and got brochures that had prices that the store did not uphold and when I tried to explain to her that the brochure had a different price the lady she snapped and said no its the one on the wall (That was different from the sign hanging outside). The facility was very clean which is why this review has two stars rather than just one for the staff. The older lady who was there was very sweet and polite. The prices that we saw in the brochures and the prices on the sign were not bad but the price I had paid was not one that made me particularly happy. read more

Worst full set I have ever gotten. I have only had them for a week and they're already starting to lift. Before they started I asked if they could take off my previous set because they were too grown out and she proceeded to rip them off. I then asked if she could take them off the right way or the less painful way by soaking in acetone and cutting them down and she continued to tell me that I didn't know anything and it would be 5 dollars more to take them off that way, because it takes too long, ignoring the fact the she ripped off part of my natural nail and made it bleed. Then by the end of this rather painful set because of all the chemicals getting into the cuts that were so fresh, she continued to put the clear gel top coat on as requested, and when she put my fingers under the light to cure it I asked if she had a UV light because the LED light she was using wouldn't cure gel nail polish properly. I would know this because I had graduated cosmetology school and gotten my license the week before and she even still continued to tell me that I didn't know anything and guaranteeing that the LED light was just fine and sure enough, all the polish peeled right off 3 days later. I was in awe of how incredibly rude they were and trying to find every little way to scam me out of all the money in my pocket. Extremely disappointed and will never return.
