I would say that sandwiches are one of my favorite foods, and that Super Subs stands out against other places. Probably the best I've ever had. We ate our entire sandwiches and started to immediately plan when we could return. This place is a new must whenever we head to Morongo or Palm Springs. Not only is the food 5/5 stars but the service is even better. The owners take so much care when handling your order, I don't think I've ever had better customer service when getting food. Standard hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop. Aside from the "Asian" sandwich which they're known for, the rest of their fare is a pretty standard deli selection. There's a few barstools in there for seating, but aside from that, it's not really an "eat there" type of place. As for their "Asian" sandwich ... it's good! Not quite a bahn mi, but considering there's no one remotely close -- closest Lee's is half an hour away in Riverside -- to here that serves them, it works! Love the baguette it's served on -- honestly, that was my favorite part of the sandwich -- chewy on the inside and a nice crunch to it, and the fillings were just right. Well, maybe those pickled cucumbers were a bit thick for my taste, but that's me. Hours are a bit odd -- 11:00-4:00 I think, but aside from that, not much to argue with here. I enjoyed my sandwich, and will definitely be back for more. read more

Really yummy subs. Super friendly owners. But one star down from perfect. They're not always open when it says they are. As someone who doesn't have a ton of time, it's really inconvenient to make my way over there and find they're closed. The menu displayed inside is really old and confusing to read so I had ti use yelp to figure out what was what. Also it does take some time for the sandwiches to be made so I'd recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you don't have the time to wait. This little gem is so fresh and delicious. Super Subs is a true family business and they run it with heart. We had juicy beef hotdogs, an Italian sub (very tasty), the Cuban sandwich (spicy, juicy, and delicious) and the Asian sandwich (chicken Bahn mi but better). Everything was top notch, but the community in that little shop is what put it over the top for us. It really was like being a member of the family. They care for their customers. Love this place. I drove by this place one day and decided I'd stop by for lunch with the kids. Well I am glad I came back. First of all the owners were the nicest couple! They made it a point to introduce themselves the minute I walked in the door. In that 10 minutes I was in the store I learned so much about them, they know how to make you feel welcomed for sure. As for the food I got an Asian sub. It is a little spicy and a little sweet. And the bread is even delicious. My kiddos each had a turkey sub. I asked my 7y/o what she thought and she said "I'm pretty sure this sandwich came from heaven" and my 12 y/o said "can you make sure to go leave a 5 star review and if I'm hungry later can you bring me for another sub" so I'd say they enjoyed it.
