This is a small restaurant with 7 or 8 tables. Tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes, taquitos, quesadillas are available along with a few meal choices. They have 3 or 4 specialty tacos but most are Mexican street tacos. This place has become quiet popular and it fills up quickly with dine-in and takeout customers during lunch. The freshly made salsas are very tasty and come with every order. The flavor of the chorizo is excellent but the grind on the meat is very fine and it makes the meat seem dry. The pastor is spot on for flavor and texture. Cost of the street tacos is consistent with what you find at other restaurants in the area. Definitely a place to go back and try more items. read more

This place really is SUPER!! Found this hidden away on Michigan Ave passed 79th street and it was such a good find! You can tell it's authentic when it's next to a Mexican supermarket and the food itself was amazing! I had the guacamole and chips, which is made fresh and super good! For entrees, I have the pork and shredded chicken tacos, and my friend had the grilled chicken tacos. We both decided the shredded chicken taco was better than the grilled, but overall the pork tacos were FANTASTIC!! The only thing that made this place lose a star was the interior and this random ringing noise that went off while sitting in the dining room. It sounded like a doorbell going off every two minutes, but once we had conversation going I was able to ignore it. read more

Definitely pleasantly surprised with this establishment. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection! I had a steak quesadilla and the serving of steak inside was overly generous. I also marveled after the homemade tortilla chips. They were light and airy with not a lot of heavy grease in them. It resembles the texture of the chips called Munchos. Their salsa could of had strong burst of flavor but overall it all came together . I am a new fan of this place! read more

Got to say I've been looking for a taco place closer to my house then high school Road. What's a treat to find this place. The carne asada tacos are very flavorful and the tortillas are nice and warm. the barbacoa work as well and I have to say it was so flavorful and juicy should've gotten more them. Their shredded chicken is FANTASTIC. I really recommend you try it. What they fail at though is consistency. Sometimes 4 tacos are $20 (shredded chicken is $3 a taco) and sometimes I can get 6 tacos for that exact same price (insert confused face here). I don't really know how that happens but it's quite obnoxious. Some days you can get three salsas. Some days you get one for six tacos and have to pay $0.50 for extras. If they fix these inconsistencies they'll be fine. read more

Just ate a late lunch here and ordered a lingua torta. The bread was incredibly fresh and toasted. I have a bit of a thing for limgua, and this was superb. They also bring out a tray of beautiful very hot sauces to try. French fries came with the sandwich and firmed to perfection. Great service too. read more

We came in to try their tacos. We each ordered a steak, chorizo, and pork taco. We also ordered chips and guacamole. They brought out a plate with 4 different hot sauces on it which were fun to try with the chips before our tacos came. The tacos were delicious! Made fresh on corn tortillas doubled up! I was looking for tamales for Christmas Eve - a major tradition in SoCal. Super did not have any, but the aroma's made my empty stomach crave. I got 3 different varieties of their tacos. Lacking in flavor overall--the tacos de lengua didn't stand out at all. the sope de pastor tasted less than a regular sope. Torta cubana bland as well, the chicken was tough and so bland. The horchata was not the best either too watery and had too many cinnamon chunks at bottom. Mango water tasted artificial not bad if that's what you're into. My husband and I went in when they had 1.00 tacos. Which was cool because we were on a budget. I heard so many good things about them. We were told that it was cash only during that time which was fine and we went to the ATM and came back. Be aware because everything cost extra from cheese to sour cream so it adds up. The customer service was nice but unfortunately at the end the tacos were not so good. The chicken was very dry and the beef was bland. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want cheap eats definitely go there. Maybe I should chosen a carne asada taco instead. read more

Only issue we had was when we ran out of drinks and couldnt find the employees anywhere, and they never checked in on us, but it wasnt a big deal. Let me first start with: the tacos have never disappointed me. I've been eating her since they opened, when there was a natural black hair salon next door. I want to say it's been 4 years now. I've since moved to the south side and yet I still drive here at least once a month. The rating is not reflective of the food rather the service. Over the past two years or so the service has declined. There is one young woman, thin build, that treats every customer with a smile. They don't speak much English but for the most part I've never felt different or uncomfortable in the environment. It's always filled with smiling families and staff. However, the last two times, I've been so disappointed. I have been using the online ordering app. It's been pretty precise when it comes to the pick up time. One day I step up to the register, there's a new person taking orders. She doesn't greet me, doesn't say hello, just stares at me. So I tell her, I placed my order online. Now, more people begin to line up behind me. So she ask what was the order, 12 tacos half chicken half steak. She tells me it will be up in a few moments and to have a seat. I'm sitting, watching as she takes other orders, she goes to the back brings other orders out, and we continuously make eye contact. You know the type of glance that assures the customer I see you, I know you're waiting. So I thought. 20 minutes goes by, and nothing. After I see a guy get his food I walk up to the register and my food has been sitting behind her for God knows how long. She says nothing but stares at me again with a look as if I'm bothering her. I ask, is that my food. She looks behind her, again not saying anything, picks up my food and hands it to me. I say, as calmly as I can, you didn't see me sitting and waiting. No response: I proceed to say I'm sure it's cold, she says I'm sorry but with more of a get out of here tone. After 4 years of support I'm no longer eating here. When I got home the two extra verde sauces I paid for were not in the bag. I will spend my money when I am welcomed, this place is no longer the spot for me. read more

This was the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever ate at. I order extra steak and queso, but didn't get either. The first restaurant I been to who dont serve salsa with their dip. Also the charge $4 for pico de gallo and same for queso. I asked to substitute the green salsa and the orange kind for pico de gallo and they wouldn't. Finally it was being ran by two girls who was running in and out the rain, like kids. I will not recommend this place. I read more
