I called on a Monday for a weekend appointment, and Lynn was available for Saturday. This salon has been here for a while and it shows. But I like how the entrance is super spacious and has seating for people to wait. Overall, I had a great hair cut and color. The only reason why this place didn't get 5 stars is because Lynn squeezed one of her client's in, during my appointment. I had to wait half an hour before she worked on my hair. I will definitely be back but if she's not able to follow the appointment time, I'll go elsewhere. FYI- it appears that someone has been telling lies about Lynn retiring. As I entered the salon, she knew I was there for my appointment. Shortly after greeting me, she had me seated. I showed her inspo and she confirmed what I wanted. She went straight to work. I was curious about her hair cutting techniques, and ultimately, I am very happy with the outcome! She was meticulous and even lightly curled/waved my hair to be as close to the inspo as possible. She is also very friendly! My women's haircut was $35. Tip can be added as well. The salon was on the average side. One side is the haircut area and the other side is the nails area. It required pretty significant corrective work, and James and his team did an absolutely beautiful job and made my hair even more beautiful than I could have hoped. He was meticulous with each strand of my hair and got my highlights and lowlights just right to give me the exact cool blonde I wanted. Excellent skill and thorough work! As if that weren't enough, James told me he wanted to call the salon I had previously come from to advocate for me to receive a refund for the corrective work (which I was much too shy to even consider asking for), and they agreed to do so thanks to the photo evidence he collected from my hair. On top of that, he offered to share his expertise with the stylist at the other salon to help address some of the technical issues he had seen on my hair. I've been coming here on and off throughout the years but recently have been coming by more often. Truthfully, I've been hesitant in becoming a regular because the environment isn't exactly what I'm used to as salons were always a bigger/rarer treat for myself and I'm a rather timid, shy person who doesn't make much conversation. Everyone here is very kind and confident and can walk you through what needs to be done to meet your hair goals.
