Tatiana was absolutely PERFECT!! Knowledgeable, friendly and put my mind at ease. Recently moved back from Arizona and was in need of a new hairdresser. I have long blonde hair and was looking to go with a much shorter cut. She loved my hair and we decided to just trim the dead ends and go with layers and feathering around the face. Convenient location and consistent service from the hair stylist I always selected at this location. Unfortunately, the actual time spent waiting to be served on more than one occasion (in spite of making an appointment) finally came to a head today. Website showed -0- minute wait time and only one stylist available. Three minute drive to the location only to find 2 people waiting and no employees in sight. 15 minute wait and someone finally appeared from the back room, called the next person by name and went to work without acknowledging me or the other person in the waiting area. While all of the other salon shops were booked up, I settled with this Supercuts. My appointment was at 5 pm, but I ended up getting there around 10-15 minutes earlier. When I got into the shop, she wasn't servicing anybody and was ready for me immediately. My hair texture is wavy, but it was curlier because it was sitting in a braid over night. I'm not a hair stylist, but it caught me off guard when she didn't wet my hair to trim it. I asked for about 4 inches off (my hair was down to my butt) and when she got done, it was barely past my shoulder blades. The whole haircut took about 10 minutes. The time I left the shop is when my appointment should have started and she declined my mother's quick service while it would have been the same quickness and style that was requested. Walked in on the 19th after deciding last minute that I needed a haircut. I was greeted immediately and told there would be a short wait for walk-ins as there were two patrons currently being worked on and another scheduled before me. I waited maybe 10 minutes before Ashley called me up. I was completely unprepared with how I wanted my hair cut and styled, but Ashley and another hairdresser were very patient and helpful when offering ideas. I eventually decided on and undercut and let Ashley go wild. She offered to show me different ways on styling my hair, and which products would help keep my hair healthy as I regularly bleach it. She was very professional and periodically checked in to make sure I liked how the cut was turning out. Overall, I'm absolutely obsessed and will definitely continue to have Ashley work on my hair in the future! read more

I've never left a comment like this on Facebook but felt compelled in this case. This is a learning moment for Alexis. I made an appointment for a haircut. When I arrived, I let Alexis know that I wanted a haircut, above the shoulders with layers, so that it looked like I had more hair than I do and I can curl it. My hair was about 3" below my shoulders when I went to Supercuts. It took me a little bit to realize that Alexis recently graduated from hair school. I expect her to know what she's doing even though she doesn't have much experience. After about an hour (which should have been basically a trim) Alexis wanted to shave the back of my neck. Whaaa? Then realized I had very little hair in the back. I paid with a tip and got out asap. Why the tip? So Alexis could remember when things didn't go well and can hopefully learn and understand. Alexis: -Really, really LISTEN to your clients. I didn't ask for a short bob with shaved back. When a client says 'above the shoulder' they don't mean 3" above the shoulder. - A client isn't a mannequin's head. Hair cannot be instantly replaced. A client's head isn't a place to practice unless you're in school. While I said wasn't vain about my hair and I would shave it if I could, I can't because I don't have the right sized head. -Why didn't I raise a stink in the Salon? Because I was literally in shock and there were two other customers in the shop. - One reason I dislike getting my hair done is because I haven't had good hair experiences throughout my life. I thought it was time to get a cut after the pandemic garbage, so I could feel just a tiny bit better about myself. I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry when I got to my car. - Alexis, please, please check with your client and confirm what they ask of you is something that you can do and not what you imagine they want. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Emily. I checked in on the app and put my requested services in. I am not sure if they even look at that, but she said my hair was too knotty and that I need to brush it myself. I figured it would be easier to comb through after a shampoo, which I asked for. It was also very windy which contributed to the crazy hair. I am sure it is not the first time that has happened. She tried selling me shampoo, but did not ask if I wanted a shampoo service. She was like ohhh let's shampoo then. The whole shampoo and haircut was awkward because she kept telling the other employees what to do. The other girls were trying to help her and she ignored them or was very rude. She proceeded to tell me my hair was cut all wrong, my hair was thin and that I may need to get my hair trimmed more often. I got my haircut at the same location a few weeks before so if it was wrong she was talking bad about her coworkers...again. Maybe she is the manager? I would not want to have a manager like that. She kept saying I am off in 15 minutes like that is all she cared about. I see a lot of great reviews for Tatiana. I may try her next time, but honestly I probably won't come back to this location because of Emily. I wish there was a way to schedule with a specific person. After years of trying stylists, I have finally found one I really like and respect, Robert at Supercuts. He is now working at the Supercuts at Eastern Commons. He is a great stylist with a great personality. I have used him for several years and follow him to any Supercuts where he is working. He is always positive, friendly, respectful and treats me with dignity. I hope he never leaves Supercuts!!! I used to love this place. Emily was my go to lady when it came to taking care of my bangs. I've been there several times over the last couple months and every time I end up leaving after I get checked in. One time I waited for about 10min and listened to the stylists bad mouth clients from eariler in the day. A couple times after getting checked in, I got attitude from the manager after I ask her about the wait time. Eye rolls and scuffing of the voice shouldn't be apart of the answer when asked a legitimate question by a paying guest. Very sad. Wish certain people didn't work here because I love Emily so much. I came across this location by accident, but I'm glad I found it. I'm always hesitant when it comes to the first time I have my haircut, but Emily put me at ease when I sat down. We made casual conversation and she knew what she was doing. I had given her a picture to go by since my sides are what always gets messed up. She did it perfectly that time, so I have gone back numerous times now. All the staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Okay soo i decided to choose this supercuts to get my haircut at because the last time i got a haircut they did a great job. This time i was a little nervous because i made the decision to cut off all of my hair. (meaning pixie cut) And i didnt have the money to go to a fancy salon when i knew that supercuts would do an equally great job if not better than a salon that would cost 30 just for a haircut. Anyways i went as soon as they opened and was sat in a chair immediately!! Emily, who is the manager i believe cut my hair. And she did such an amazing job. I just went in for a trim/cut and had a great experience. There was no wait time and I was seated immediately. Sandy was my stylist and I really loved seeing her. She was extremely respectful of my boundaries when I asked her to only cut a certain amount and didn't seem irritated when I kept asking her to see the progress. I got 4 inches cut off and was very satisfied with the results. Would definitely see her again :) read more

I usually get my hair styled in NY or LA. Coming off vacation, I needed a quick trim and to look manicured. Ashley was the stylist (if you could call her that) assigned to me. I showed her a recent photo of myself and how I wanted my hair to be cut. She took a quick look at the picture and then went on to do "her own thing". What resulted was nowhere NEAR resembling the photograph, but rather a butchered attempt at a trim, and a back-of-head shave that I have NEVER had in my life. The back bottom is totally uneven, the look is lopsided, and TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Regional Manager Donna Jordan, did nothing, was not interested in hearing my complaint, instead recommending I go back for a "repair". (Not even an option: I wasn't going to be further butchered!!!). I walked in just before 7:30, two girls / ladies were working.... one gave me a dirty look and said to the other worker that she is booked for the night.... .the other girl who if she did say her name... I am not sure she did tell me her name. She said she will take me but I will have to wait 15-20 min so I wait. I told her I wanted a shampoo and my ends trim and a style... she must not have heard the style part. I know I said it as I have an event tomorrow and rode all over town to get my hair done. Finally, after I wait almost 20 minutes, she takes me to the sink, good thing I asked how much extra is to blow dry when I did or I would have been even more disappointed. She says, I cannot blow your hair dry. I asked why and she said we never do 30 minutes before closing. I said don't you think you should have told me that when I walked in? I just waited and now you tell me.... she said or mumbled something about how they should have told me. Well, they did not tell me, so as she is shampooing my hair, I said, please rinse it out, I do not need a haircut if I have to go home and style it myself! This place has HORRIBLE customer service. This was my first time there and she had me wait and she started me around 7:50 so she already was staying past 8, my hair is not that long, she could have stayed another 10-12 min to dry/style my hair. Don't let Nicole cut your hair, Horrible I showed her a few pictures of how I want it , she start making excuses about it and complaining about my hair, She said that the pictures that I showed her had alot of texture on the hair and she didnt want to do that i mean C'mon If a customer is asking you to cut their hair in certain way you can give and advise but if thats the way they want it just do it, or be honest and say that you don;t know how to do it, I had long wavy hair and I want to cut my hair same style as how I had it long with layers and TEXTURE but in a short version, and she just totally messed up, cut it short and stright make a layer right a little bit above the lenght of the hair so now my hair get all horrible in the ends. and of course so hard to manage it because doeesn't have Layers and TEXTURE!! I needed a cut bad and I just moved to the area. I am a licensed hair stylist myself and don't have a place just yet or work. I thought I would give supercuts a shot and see if it would one be a spot to get a cut and maybe work for them eventually. I was greeted with professionalism but the girl Ashley who greeted me and cut my hair was dressed in all black (apparently that's the dress code) and no apron. She was covered in hair and had piercings on her face which weren't so flattering. I never like to leave reviews but this has bothered me very much. Now I have a very simple disconnected hair cut. Which is called the undercut. I told her what to do and she failed and kept saying that it's hard for her to blend. Me coming from a top salon in chicago and La, that is very scary to hear. I just told her I was satisfied with my haircut because I didn't need it anymore botched. If I were you, or the boss of this location. I would make sure the people you hire are not only kind and professional but dress the part and have the education that is needed to be cutting hair. I still tipped her very well from what I got. WORST PLACE. I think it has new ownership and the service and quality is the worst I have ever seen. I specifically made an appt online, and requested a stylist, and when I show up the stylist is cutting someone's hair. I was in a rush and that is the reason I made the appt in the first place. Almost 2 years ago I walked into super cuts at that time for me I was just looking for somewhere to get a halfway decent haircut for me a halfway decent haircut was a win as I visited many different places over the years and if the cut was close to what I wanted that was a win.( that was not very often) I would always have to wait for it to grow out to be happy with my cut. when I visited that day I feel I was very fortunate to get Stacy she asked me how I would like my hair cut I told her how I would like it cut and for me I thought here we go again, hopefully I get lucky. when I got home I got my hair wet blew it dry Im not a conceded person lol but I was to say the least very very happy with how it came out it looked great ! I thought to myself I got very lucky.well time passed and it was time to get it cut again so I was hoping luck would strike twice so I made appointment with Stacy she remembered me made me feel at ease due to it might be possible to get the same cut. and to my astonishment it was, and the next, and the next, and the next same result for me this was like hitting the hair cut lottery lol . now I am feeling very confident about Stacy. As I am older gentleman My hair has been gray for years I have a full set of hair but its always been gray I just accepted it as part of life.during one of my appointments. I mentioned this to Stacy she had mentioned to me during one of my first appointments she could get rid of the gray but at that time I was still very timid about well to put it bluntly stylist however now my confidence with Stacy had grown by leaps and bounds.and all the products she recommended for me to buy to help my hair had all worked !
