We made a reservation because I'd heard this place can get pretty busy. Although it didn't seem too crowded when we first arrived on a Saturday, it filled up quickly throughout our meal. I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you're planning to come for dinner. As soon as we walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the restaurant is. Since the building was once a church, they preserved the stained-glass windows and cathedral ceilings, which give the space so much character. We ended up sitting on the patio because it was a gorgeous day, but I definitely want to come back and dine inside so I can fully appreciate the interior. The patio was modern, spacious, and completely shaded, making it very comfortable. Since it's located right next to the little lake, we also enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive overall, but there was one moment that stood out. My friend's baby accidentally knocked over a full glass of iced coffee, spilling it all over my friend's lap and onto the floor. The waitress watched as my friend cleaned up the mess herself but didn't offer to help or replace the spilled drink. Aside from that, the service was good. My friends and I all ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon poke bowl ($19), which was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. The ingredients tasted high quality, and all the flavors worked really well together. It was more filling than I was expecting! Price-wise, I expected the menu to be more expensive than it actually was. I'm sure dinner prices are higher, especially for steak and seafood, but the brunch menu was quite reasonable. Most breakfast and brunch dishes range from $12-$20, making it a great value for both the quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere. Overall, we all enjoyed our experience and I'll for sure be back! I'd love to try other menu items and come for dinner, too!

It's not intrusive, but we were sat outside. I can imagine it might have been hard to carry conversation in the very full and busy dining room. We both started with a mocktail, the fly boy, which was very fresh and delicious. My husband had the 20 oz rib eye which was slightly over done, but still seasoned well. I had the bone-in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts which was delightful. Dessert consisted of the banana sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry chocolate cake and a decaf cappuccino. All were awesome. Our server (Lindsey?) was l friendly and attentive, while not being overbearing. Foxtail has definitely become a favorite restaurant of ours.

They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's not a place I can go every week, but when I can splurge, and have a taste for fresh seafood, this is the best around.

We started with a mango margarita -- I tried it on the rocks and blended -- and both were refreshing without being too sweet & had the right amount of liquor. My boyfriend ordered a michelada and enjoyed it a lot. We had plenty of shots throughout the night as we watched the game and chatted. For appetizers, I got the cold shrimp and octopus cocktail along with half a dozen oysters. The oysters were so fresh that we ended up ordering another half dozen. For our entrée, we shared the Chapuzón, which came with cooked shrimp, octopus, and oysters in a flavorful house sauce that paired really well with everything. The sauce is so addicting, we ordered some rice to enjoy it some more. We finished with a flan that wasn't the typical style you see everywhere, but it tasted really good and was a nice way to end the meal. Danny, the owner, was very welcoming and attentive the entire time. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Overall, it's a spot I'd definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys mariscos. Ask him about his catering options for the holidays! Pricing isn't an issue in my opinion, you pay for what you get and we left very full and satisfied. We will definitely be coming back!

Everyone was smiling and polite. The lady that took care of me was knowledgeable, answering all my rookie questions. The menu is extensive, and I found the pricing reasonable. Gumbo was good, with a good roux, but slightly sweet and no real spice to it. It had plenty of shrimp, and I got a couple of meals out of it. If I were in New Orleans, it would probably receive a low score, but by Chicago standards, it is good. They used okra in their gumbo, which some may consider sacrilege. However, it was properly prepared, and I like okra, so I approve. Their jambalaya and fried rice were approved of by others in the family. Overall, good food and good value. If it weren't for my gout, I'd be eating here a lot more often.

He was very helpful and attentive. Our designated server had an off day I assume--tired, not friendly, no smiles, no enthusiasm, clearly did not want to be of service, and created an uncomfortable experience within 5 minutes of being seated at a cozy and comfortable booth. He yawned at our table as he brought bread. Never smiled, didn't take our orders correctly. Didn't repeat the order. Did not offer any dessert (maybe this place doesn't have any). And, not once checked up on us to see how we were feeling about our meal. When my wife called him over to order the Chicken Wings dish, he just had a blank stare. As he walked away I had to call him back to inquire about what dipping sauces were available. It was so baffling, we had to speak with the couple at the next booth about their experience. By the way, we order several dishes like, * Tuna Crudo * Chicken Wings * French Onion Soup * 1/2 Smoked Chicken * Crispy Shanghai Brussel Sprouts Just to be clear, the dishes were great and I wish we had an opportunity for dessert. Though my wife had visited a few times , this was my first time at Rivers Casino and RC Supply Co. Aside from the one server, others at the restaurant seemed nice, attentive to customers, with friendly smiles that I'm sure created a positive experience representing the RC Supply brand. The decor was clean, modern, and spacious. The acoustics were good:)

It is definitely not the sort of place that you'd expect to see as essentially the Holiday Inn restaurant. While we didn't get any food, the drinks were great! We stood at the front with absolutely no acknowledgement from any of the staff including the bartenders. There is a front counter it seems, but no one was there. After five minutes of standing, and yes, it was 5-min, as the World Cup was on and that game clock doesn't stop. 5-minutes might not sound long, but when you're standing in the front, its a long time. We finally got greeted by their understaffed people, and were seated in the back. Obviously no reservation needed, as they didn't even ask. After about another 5-minutes, we got paper menus. By this time, we scanned the QR code that was on the table, to see the menu, and we were already ready to order. Sadly, I wish I did look at the paper menu, because apparently the online menu was different. There was a gumbo on the paper menu apparently. There's pictures of it on their TV monitors, showcasing their food, but I didn't see it on the online menu. We go the oysters, which surprisingly no one got sick from. Chicken fajitas were OK, and the rainbow roll sushi was OK too. The service really was bad... I would not come back again. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in between the back room and bar area, the bathrooms were surprisingly pleasant. No poop splatters or pee stains on the toilet and urinals. They keep their bathrooms clean.
