I was recommended this place since I was disappointed with big al's by not even making it through the front doors. I came here and was expecting more of a gaming place but I was wrong, it was more of a bowling alley than a gaming center. This place is amazing! I wanted to take my hubby bowling for his birthday and we decide to give SuperPlay a try, and I'm so glad we did! The alleys are amazing and state of the art (you can even take a photo of yourself at the lanes to have your photo show up next to your score) and the pricing was really reasonable (shockingly good if you go for one of their specials of the night after 9pm). The two things that really made the day (and made me wish I could give more than 5 stars) were the food and the employees (especially Mike and Robert(?) the chef). That's right, I said the FOOD at the bowling alley was amazing! Who'd have thought. We ordered something expecting the greasy sub-par stuff we were used to getting at our old alley, and were instead shocked by the incredibly tantalizing flavors of the food we received. We ordered the appetizer sampler and every single thing was incredible, the star of the show were the mozzarella sticks which my husband said were the best he'd ever had (and he's had a lot of them!) Everyone was so kind, Mike was so much fun to chat with and made sure all our needs were beyond met (and with a smile!) and Robert was wonderfully nice when he came to check on how we liked our food. All in all, it made for a perfect day (and superb birthday!) and we'll be going back here again and again. (We even tease about stopping by just to eat if we don't feel like bowling!) Me and my best friend were straight out ignored by the front desk clerk Ector and when we finally did get our food it was just kind of thrown on to the counter, he had little to no personality and kept glaring at us the whole time making us uncomfortable. The food didn't even make up for our lack of good customer service, you could definitely taste that most of it was cooked in a microwave. I've never received such poor service in my life, our girls night out was completely ruined by Ector. Later that night we wanted to refund laser tag tickets because of our horrible experience and wanted to leave, but ECTOR gave us a horrible attitude and said that we shouldn't have bought them if we weren't going to use them in the first place, but fortunately Sharon was much more understanding and accommodated us for what she could. Super great remodel after the fire they had. New looks with the traditional bowling alley pitched ceilings. The bar looks awesome. Didn't try it this trip. Food was yummy and priced well. Arcade is filled with new high end looking games. Laser tag room looks huge! Staff was very friendly and fun to converse with. All in on this place! Oh, and the bowling screens are fun and ready to use too. Always a plus. For sure jumping in on the bowling leagues. Went on a Sunday late afternoon. Lots of kids birthday parties. Cashier and bar were very slow to help you and get orders. Lanes had some issues with reset button not working and pins missing or wrong score but for the price, not bad. read more

This place was a lot of fun! I took my niece and nephews here on a Tuesday early afternoon. There was not that many people there, but it was still a lot of fun. We played 4 rounds of laser tag. The room was spacious and exciting and the kids had a blast (I was not the great at the game). A shout out to 2 of the employees who really made this trip even more enjoyable- Mike and Cara. This place is a hot mess. We came on a Saturday not knowing there were some birthday parties (it was cool to see all the excited little kids running about) but there doesn't seem to be enough staff. Every time we went up to the front desk there was a line of people and several people behind the desk, but only 1-2 people actually addressing the people in line. At one point I stood quietly in front of an employee for several minutes while another man came after me and was taken care of. The employee only acknowledged me after the man who jumped the line told him to. The employee never made eye contact with me even as he was speaking to me. In general, this is a nice space but it's disorganized. It's unclear where you should order food (at the smoothie bar or the bar bar) and it's not easy to find someone when you have questions. Since it's not particularly cheap to bowl, eat and play video games, the disorganization was pretty frustrating. read more

The bar tender, Tim, made this place for my girlfriend and I. He made her very good creative drinks (I just got beer), he was very friendly and just all around great customer service. Food was also pretty good for a bowling alley! The arcade though... Really over priced and not vary many games. Also about half of them wouldn't read the play cards, and the ones that did usually took 3 or 4 swipes to get it to read. But we would come back for some food, drinks, bowling, and to spend the rest of the credits we have on our game cards. read more

Fantastic place to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids. Excellent customer service and a huge variety of activities so that your 2-year-old daughter and 9 year-old son will equally have a great time. The kids who run the Laser Tag do an awesome job keeping the taggers in check. Wide variety of menu items. Oh and parents: they have a great, high end bar. I don't know about you, but the excellent Spanish coffee I had while my child was tearing it up made all the difference. I highly recommend. We will be back!! read more

I recently moved very close to SuperPlay and I started coming for the lounge area. I absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff. My favorite of the staff has been Thim. He is an excellent bartender and very attentive to his customers. His service definitely keeps me coming back. Also they have super good wifi. read more

We used the Groupon deal tonight for two adults and two children. To say our lane was a technical failure is an understatement. No less than 15 times did we have to press the button that asked for technical help. We actually left with a few frames left in our second game because we were frustrated and tired of waiting for assistance. Also, the smoothies for the girls were terrible. Never have my girls turned downed a sugar-laden drink. These smoothies were so bad that neither finished them. Last, while there appeared to be open lanes at other less crowded parts of the bowling alley, a family/party of at least a dozen individuals were placed right next to us. They fanned out and took over the entire area. All counter spaces were taken over, and I had to even tell this family to leave our water glasses and pitcher alone. So while the kids liked the actual bowling, everything else was negative. I don't plan on coming here again. read more

Went here for a family member's 13th birthday. Her mother did not book the party package and when we went to sit a table we were told by the man behind the counter, Lee, that there were a lot of birthday parties that day and he would let us know when and if we could sit at a table. Every table was empty in the place and many without the party reservation signs. We then ask which bowling lane we can use and were again to that they were extremely busy that day and basically, not to hold our breath. Mind you at this time, there were literally about 15 people in the entire joint. As we stood baffled and offended at this point, a lady came up and helped Lee figure out which of the entire bowling alley that was currently completely not in use we could play on. When we tried to redeem the Groupon we bought so the kids could play laser tag he again told us don't count on it, as they were very busy that day and the reserved birthday parties have priority and they make "only $10 on Groupons". Now, we are reasonable women and understand the reserved birthday parties have priority seating/laser tag, but the way Lee was talking to us basically said he couldn't care less if we were there or not. There ended up being plenty of room for the kids to bowl and play laser tag, but Lee was so completely unwilling to serve us with anything because we were there with a Groupon. The lady working there did help us out, but Lee needs some help with his demeanor and costumer service skills. And Super Play, if Groupons are not worth it for you, don't sell them!!!! read more

We hosted an event for 150 people at SuperPlay. The event was for a professional organization but also needed to be family friendly. SuperPlay helped us achieve that balance. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. The venue worked very well for our large group, and the management was able to work with us to design the details of the event to meet our needs. Another great night at this place. I really appreciate how unstressed people are even when there are crowds. Its always clean and the food and drinks are hot. I would LOVE to see more old school arcade games, but I get the trend. Maya was OUTSTANDING as usual on Thursdays, remembered us, and was efficient, even if the wait was a little longer than normal due to the crowd. She was apologetic and checked in a ton! We were quite regulars at Superplay over the summer and it was great. I'm not sure what happened but tonight was AWFUL!!! We probably will not be going back again. Wednesday is ladies night, at least it's supposed to be. We waited until 6:00 and went up to pay. The guy tells me we can only bowl 30 minutes that they have unexpected leagues tonight. I told him I'm not paying $7 to bowl for 30 minutes, what sense does that make? $7 would have lasted my girls all night had they wanted. He goes on to say there's other things for them to do. The arcade and laser tag. I said my little one won't do laser tag. And honestly the arcade is very lame. There's only a few things in there but we did already have an arcade card because there is 3 things they will play. Bowling is what we were there for. So the lady in line after me was also told the same thing and wasn't happy either. So we speak to the manager and he says he wouldn't charge us for the 30 minutes. That he didn't know until 15 minutes ago that more leagues were coming. But what's frustrating is, they shouldn't be allowing more leagues to come on if they're running promotional nights. It should be one or the other. But he did. So he says we have 50 minutes at no charge. Which is what it should have been since we were there to bowl for a few hours and couldn't. I wouldn't expect them to charge us honestly. So all leagues came and there was a few of us on 3 lanes that were free lanes and not being used by leagues. So then someone comes down and says we have to get off. Again I'm confused as to why. Especially since as I told him, there is a new random couple 2 lanes over. Why would we have to leave and new people after us are now coming in? He says because they need it for a leaugue. So then he leaves and comes back to tell us his manager said we had to leave because we didn't pay and the new couple 2 lanes over did. So now it's my fault they said they didn't have any open lanes for us? I went to pay when we came in as I do EVERY single time. When he came back down to tell us we had to leave, he never even asked if we wanted to pay to continue? So we went up and used the arcade card and still NO ONE was on that lane. So I do not understand why he came down and said they needed that lane. They should have asked us if we wanted to pay or let us stay until someone else paying came in and wanting a lane. I could see that and would have understood leaving. I didn't realize this was more about $7 than customer service. I'm still just shocked at what happened. This is my first time writing any negative review but this was horrible! How awful of any business to be that way over $7. Had they gave us the option to pay, we would have. When he came down the first time, he lied. Because he said we needed to get off the lane because it was for the leaugue. But when I mentioned the new ppl 2 lanes over, he didn't know what to say and left. Then came back to tell us it was because they paid and we didn't. I didn't argue. It was obvious that I wasn't happy after hearing that. Why didn't he ask us if we wanted to pay? We were on the lane for free because of THEIR error. They had more irritated people than us. And we weren't the only one on a lane for free. But were the only ones asked to get off the lane. I don't know if this is a new manager or what but we've been there many times and have always had great experiences there. Great people and customer service. But now I'm pretty sure I will not go back. That was ugly and very distasteful. Thank you superplay for your awful management that would kick someone out over $7. Especially since had they had a lane at 6:00 Like they should have, I would have paid my $7 and there wouldn't have been any problem. I'm almost tempted to come by and pay the damn $7 anyway since that's what this was all about. Seven lousy dollars. And the only reason it's 1 star is bevause that's the lowest I can rate. read more

Found them through an online Groupon deal, bought it, took the family and stood in line for a few minutes while the employees chatted amongst themselves. Finally got some assistance and went to sign up for a lane, handed them my Groupon and was told that it doesn't work on the weekends. Nothing on the Groupon site (OR the printed out "receipt" that I had) indicated that there were "blackout" dates. Went back to the Groupon and under the FINE PRINT (not the description, where literally EVERY other Groupon I've ever used has it) was it listed that it didn't work on Saturday or Sunday. I politely asked for a manager, explained that I'd never been to their establishment before and did not know that Groupon wasn't accepted on Saturday or Sunday, asked if there could be any leniency and was refused. Because they wouldn't work with me on this, I won't do business with them. It's super shady that they have to hide behind fine print, I won't do business here and I suggest you don't. I cancelled my Groupon, and found one with Sunset Lanes (https://www.groupon.com/deals/sunset-lanes-2-12) where it DOES work on the weekend. I gladly do my business elsewhere. ** If could leave 0 stars I would, but I can't. The rest of the building was atrocious. Counters were messy, floors were dirty. I think I dodged a bullet here. This place is awesome. Bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. The kids love the laser tag (to be honest, I do too). They have kid birthday parties here down to a science. It's only a few years old so it's clean and airy. Went here in a Sunday night to see half of the arcade machines broken down, two severely over served wasted people(one women face planted it on the floor) I had no idea who the staff were. My boyfriend was looking around to get change and some random dude in black whipped out a wad of cash from his back pocket..........I don't know if it was an employee. Everybody was just standing around watching football. Not very professional which is a bummer because it's a cool place, arcade, bowling, bar, laser tag. It's clean and new. Took the family to Super Play tonight based on the review and what I've heard. For those of you who remember Valley lanes this is the same thing just remodeled. Definitely spared no expense on the remodel. But that is reflected in the prices. The food was average at best. Not worth the $13.00 i spent for my burger. All in all dropped over $100.00 for food, some video games and laser tag. The laser tag is the only reason i gave it 2 stars. Awesome addition. its very unlikely we will return. read more

Checked this place out a few weeks ago. It appeared to be a smaller version of big als without so many kids; PERFECT. Bowling was great and not too expensive, arcade is small but has the best games, food was better than any other bowling alley I've been to and the bartender was extremely knowledgable.
