    Steak and cheese

I got mozz sticks and a steak and cheese w grilled onions, peppers, and American cheese with mustard and ketchup. This was one of the best subs I've ever had. So delicious! Staff was super friendly and the wait was super reasonable, especially considering they were slammed.

Mixed review here and here is why: 1st visit: Had something to attend close by and had a small window to have lunch. My husband and I pulled in and split a Bacon, chicken, ranch wrap and an order of buffalo wings. I can tell you the wrap was very flavorful and I have thought about it a few times. I want another but I found a hair on a chicken wing. In fairness to Supreme we didn't have time to bring it to their attention to wait while they cooked another order for us. We finished the wrap and left. 2nd visit: (being fair again- during Covid-19 and supporting local) We order a large half cheese/half pepperoni pizza and a small bacon pizza. We were told 20 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later and still had to wait in the parking lot for 10/15 minutes. They were busy and I am sure with trying to figure out a new way to do business t was stressful. Kudos again to another business for getting it together during the outbreak. Staff were wearing gloves and they did not allow anyone inside (locking the door after deliveries to cars were made.) They are having people re-pay (good idea) but then you cannot leave a tip on a card- cash only. Wish I could write that the pizza was great but it wasn't hot when we got it and barely warm once it got home. The pizza was lacking sauce but I can say... they have the good blue cheese and pepperoni! The pepperoni curled up while cooking, that kind! The blue cheese was chunky and creamy just the way I like it (I dip my crust in it.) I can share the pizza is much better as leftovers the next day with a little garlic salt.

Yum. Rice, Beans, and STAPLES in your veggie burrito.
    Jamie S.

OH MY GOD. There was a frigging staple in my veggie burrito! I was just chewing my very mediocre tasting burrito when all of a sudden my teeth crunched down on something way too sharp and hard to be rice or beans. At first I thought "hmm, this burrito really sucks, so maybe it's just under cooked rice," but thankfully I decided to check. I spit out a staple! A STAPLE. Don't eat from this place. I don't care if you're on your lunch break and they're the only place delivering to you. I don't care if you're wasted and just really need a burrito, trust me, you don't need it that bad. Wish I could get my money back. My husband and I bought two of these wretched things. Such a waste of money.

Overpriced pizzas, sandwiches, and calzones. Chicken Parm was lousy. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Disclaimer: I love Papa Gino's pizza. Not ironically. Not as some guilty pleasure I feel compelled…read moreto defend. I genuinely love it. The hand feel, the specific chew, the way the crust gives under your fingers. I could identify it just by touch, blindfolded in a lineup of a hundred pies. It's wired into me from countless visits over the last 30+ years, born in the taste of being young and hungry and not overthinking anything about quality, just taste and filling you up. So when I tell you that Pizzeria Romana, located right by the Lincoln Mall, is just like Papa Gino's dressed up for the prom, understand that I mean it as the highest compliment. This was a new stop this year on the Lord of the Pies circuit. We walked in with zero expectations. The space is warm without trying too hard. Black and white checkered tablecloths. Italian countryside murals on the walls. The staff greets you like they're happy you showed up, which is rarer than it should be. The cheese pizza is where this place reveals itself. Same Papa Gino's geometry: thin, sturdy, dependable. But elevated with ingredients that actually taste fantastic. The cheese blend brings provolone into the conversation, adding sharp, tangy notes that cut through the richness. Everything works. The crust has that holds its crispness on top, great chew in the middle, and just enough cornmeal texture underneath to remind you this thing came from a real oven. The pepperoni, though. It overwhelms. Too much salt, too much grease, too much of everything. It doesn't play well with others. It storms onto the plate and dominates, drowning out all those subtle cheese notes that made the plain slice sing. Stick with the cheese. Let the fundamentals do their work. What Pizzeria Romana understands, what Papa Gino's always understood, ipizza doesn't need to reinvent itself to be good. It needs good ingredients, technique, and the restraint not to screw it up with unnecessary flourishes. This is a nice neighborhood spot where you can bring a date or grab a pie with friends without pretension. The best thing a pizza can do is remind you why you fell in love with it in the first place. Pizzeria Romana does exactly that. Just hold the pepperoni.

It was a treat to visit last week with two friends and it was so delicious that we finished every bite of our two pizzas and had none left to take home! Note: This is a counter service restaurant, and then the waitstaff delvers your order to the table. Even though we ordered at the counter, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive throughout our entire visit. They went above and beyond checking on us and making sure everything was perfect. We all started with the white sangria, which was perfect - It had a great amount of flavor and was beautifully served with a variety of fruit in the glass. For pizzas, we went with The Bianca and the Corina so we could try both a white and a red sauce. Both were absolutely delicious, with plenty of toppings and a crispy crust. Our pizzas were served piping hot and the ingredients were all very high quality. I'd definitely order both of them again. Pizzeria Romana in Lincoln has a variety of tables and booth for seating. It isn't a large place, but we had no problem getting a seat at 6:30 on a Thursday night. We saw lots of people come and go, and they seem to do quite a bit of takeout as well as dine in. This is going to be my go to pizza place - So glad we went there last week and I can't wait to go back!

Just found my new favorite local spot LJ's…read more It's one of those rare places that feels like a hidden gem right in the middle of the city. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, but there's always something going on, live music, karaoke nights, and even fundraisers that really bring the community together. The food absolutely delivers. The pizza is on point (perfect crust, great flavor), and the smashburgers are next-level. Juicy, crispy edges, everything you want in a burger. It's the kind of place where you can grab a casual dinner, hang out with friends, and end up staying way longer than you planned because the atmosphere is just that good. If you're looking for great food and a spot that actually feels like part of the community, LJ's is definitely worth checking out.

TVs overhead running NESN, a chalkboard listing specials that include a meatball ricotta pizza and a fried green tomato BLT, and a room that goes from quiet to humming in the time it takes to finish dinner. Lauren and I ordered a ten-inch bar pie, pepperoni and meatball, and a chicken parm sandwich on the side with a pile of fresh-cut potato chips. It's what a bar pie should be. Cheese bronzed and even, that dark caramelized edge where it ran past the crust and met the hot pan, the sauce light, not heavy or oversweet, meatball torn into rough chunks, clearly homemade, its flavor strong enough to overpower the rest of the pie a little. Solid pie. The chicken parm sandwich held its own too, cutlet clearly hand-breaded and fresh, not some frozen thing dropped in a fryer, sauce richer and heavier than the pizza's, soaking into good bread without turning it to mush, and those chips tasted like someone actually fried them that day. But the pizza wasn't the thing I kept thinking about on the drive back. It was how fast our drinks got refilled, even as the place filled in around us. How someone checked on us without hovering, the way regulars get checked on, not the way tables get checked on. LJ's has the feel of a neighborhood watering hole where the staff knows half the room by name, except somehow you don't feel like the other half. You feel like you belong, on your first visit, before you've ever said your name. The place is named for the owners' six-year-old daughter, LunaJett, who we hear is a lead waitress on Sundays. Makes sense. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like family before you've finished your first beer, whether you're six or sixty. Not a pilgrimage. But worth the drive to Woonsocket on a Thursday night, and worth going back again.
