I randomly found this spot here on Yelp when I was looking for a place to pick up food in between Lakewood and Manhattan Beach. I ordered and I got there before my estimated pick-up time; my order was not ready yet. I didn't realize that this spot is a little mom-and-pop with the cutest older Korean couple working behind the counter- they make your food fresh to order. When my food was ready the woman profusely apologized for me waiting (which was no big deal!) but still gave some little breakfast sandwich things on the house- she was so sweet! On to the food- their chicken is SO GOOD and such high quality. You can really taste the difference! I also got a sandwich which was delicious, and the kimchi fried rice- so let me tell you, it's already the day after and I still have leftovers in my fridge. The portion sizes are BIG- I was expecting little nuggets, but the 8-piece boneless chicken are large, juicy pieces of chicken! My 3-year old loved it. I told my brother all about it (he's closer in proximity than I am) and we finally got a chance to chow down and compare notes. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken and honey garlic option, pancake/hotteok, goguma latte (with oat milk!! So glad they're carrying milk alternative now) and the free kimchi. Like before THIS CHICKEN IS LEGITTTTT like top three chicken dishes I've ever had and probably the best chicken wings I've ever had, no cap or whatever the young kids say lol. Sooo crispy, flavorful, hot, fresh and hit on all the taste buds (except bitter lol). This place is a hidden gem and I can't get over how good it is. I was looking for something new locally, but I saw the chicken in the soup shouting. I was going to give it a try because I was drooling because of the picture. From the menu, I knew I wanted to eat chibap, and I thought about which one to eat, and I ended up eating garlic chibap. I was really surprised when I came home and dug in! When you order garlic noodles with shrimp or steak at a restaurant, do you know that it comes out very bland and doesn't really taste like garlic? Garlic chibap won't have that problem. Their garlic chibap tastes really good. The bowl is placed on a bed with garlic rice, cheese, and chicken. Then, if I take a bite of the chicken, it was one of the softest and softest chicken I've ever had!!! I promised to go back to make sure the chicken is always soft. If so, I said I would rate my top five chicken plates. But for this one experience, they get five stars. I'm sure I'm going back to try another chibap. All we lack is another plate or entree to eat with this bowl. Maybe it's salty or sweet. Or another bowl of radish they give you might perform tricks. I've been to Sup's quite a few times and have brought the food to work. My coworker emailed me yesterday asking if I could bring her some soy honey wings because she loves them so much and decided to try a grilled chicken sandwich because I haven't tried it yet. The sandwich was delicious and so fresh. The lettuce, tomato, slaw, mayo paired really well with the grilled chicken. The restaurant is really clean and it has a very home vibe. My husband and I were in the area brew hopping and we were peckish and decided to look up what was around and this place came highly recommended. It was a little hard to find, but it is located in a business center and after a loop through the parking lot we found it! Service was amazing! Place is super clean! We ordered the Sup's Sandwich and it was spicy BUT the extra spice came on the side. The owners were so sweet and polite. It was a little wait for our sandwich but they make the orders fresh which is always a plus! The first bit was delicious! Please give this small mom and pop shop a try. It's definitely worth the drive. The Korean lady who owns the shop even gave me a complimentary self-care package (lip mask&nail therapy) be ready to wait at least 15-20 min or order ahead! I got the original chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side. They use chicken thigh so it was very crispy and juicy. The slaw tasted nice and fresh! Wow! This spot is located in a commercial area so it can be easy to miss. My friend and I wanted to try the Garlic Chibap, Soy Garlic Wing Combo, and the Signature Chicken Sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious. If you're trying to get your protein in , then definitely order one of the rice plates. We enjoyed the sandwich and wings the most. For drinks, we tried the Mango Sparkling Ade, Pina Colada, and the Strawberry Milk. The Strawberry Milk was our favorite. This spot is perfect to just grab and go. It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each. I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out. The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing. I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi. We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. This also was a hefty sandwich, and we only finished half for lunch as well. I got the morning toast sandwich, which was a combination of everything that I love - carbs, cabbage, mayo, ham, cheese, and egg. So good!! I also only finished half of the sandwich. The value is awesome haha! I also tried the coleslaw side, and the texture/amount/flavor was scrumptious! The garlic fries were also seasoned well and not too salty. I saved the Korean pancake for family, and I think there's no way you can go wrong with such a yummy treat. The couple opened the restaurant about a month ago, and we are so thrilled that we found this place. Their service was lovely, and we were taken care of very well. The restaurant itself has seating for maybe 3-4 people to eat, but it's more like a to-go stop. The ambiance is nice and calm, with simple and aesthetic decor.
