Such a wonderful find when driving the backroads with my daughter on beautiful Saturday. I reccommend the Tuna Cevichi and Grilled Broccolini for a nice light lunch. We stuck around for the happy hour and had a flavorful Dirty Bananna. Can't wait to bring my husband here.

This place has a nice patio area and full bar. The happy hour deal is drinks only. I got chips and guacamole and it seemed too small size guacamole for $10. (Only 2-3 tbsp size) But overall, the bartender was nice and they have a good vibe. I will come back to try out their food.

Several weeks ago, I stopped in for the first time on a Tuesday night for dinner. It had been a long day and after traveling, was ready for some food. After I was seated, it seemed to take at least 5+ minutes for someone to take my order, despite seeing servers walk by my area. My server was efficient and friendly. I ordered a Coke and Wicked Wings ($15.99). The wings were good, although not quite the best wings I've ever had. I ordered half with Old Bay and half with Thai Chili sauces. I thought both sauces were good and the celery was fresh. Nice cozy place and maybe next time I'm in the area, I'll give them another try.

Stopped by after hearing so much about the place from the Cigar Store staff next door. Service was just okay. The food was dry (Mahi) and fries a little on the salty side. Appetizer of wings were the best part of the meal.

Look no further, this is an out of this world restaurant. The service is always quick and they constantly check in (but not too much where it get weird). The chip and salsa is a must order while you wait for your food. I got the steak tacos....I dream about them sooooo much now. The ratio of all the ingredients is perfect and they don't hold out on the steak. The sweet potato fries are the best and I wish I could get even more. You have to check out this place!!!!

Hubby looked up a few spot to eat and we settled on this location for dinner. Upon arrival, parking was scarce due to the 3 reserves spots for curbside pick-up. We entered and the place seemed packed. We waited near the hostess stand, and was asked what did want. No greeting, just simply asked what we want. We advised the young lady, we wanted to be seated for 2. She said gives a moment to clear and clean a table. Not even 5 minutes of waiting, we were seated indoors near the side not far from the front door. We were given menus; the front contained the entrées and the other side drinks. I ordered the salmon and shrimp on a bed of mash potatoes and spinach with sautéed peppers' also the side green salad with no onions. Hubby had the Seafood stew. Service was on the slow side, but it does give time for conversation, but still the wait was a bit much. The salad was better than the meal alone. My entrée was overly salty, both the salmon, spinach and mash potatoes was too salty. The shrimp were no whole, just chopped in small pieces. Not what I imagined. Even hubby complained that his meal was salty. I hope the cook will be made of aware of this issue. I know for a fact I am going swell up from having too much sodium! We decided to just pay and leave than make a fuss.

Crab cakes were excellent; all good stuff that tasted fresh, and very little filler. Although I can't claim to be a crab cake connoisseur since I'm not a local, these are easily the best I've ever had. Would love to come back, if I ever get the chance.

Our visit to Surf House was on point tonight. We have been here before but it's been years and we forgot how good the food was. I didn't get many photos of the food since we were starving. Although for starters, we ordered the PEI mussels which are steamed mussels in a white wine sauce with two pieces of rustic toasted bread. The sauce and mussels were perfect. Then for the main dish, I ordered the fish & chips which consisted of three cod fish and perfectly cooked fries. I have to say these are probably the best fish and chips in the area that I have had so far. My husband had ordered The Dude Burger which he said was surprisingly good. Then we ordered the key lime pie to go for dessert and it's very creamy and light. Folks definitely need to try this local gem--the Surf House. And if you like to drink, they have a nice bar and drink selection. Nice and trendy ambiance with cool painted surfboards hanging on the walls. Reminds me of my times in Huntington Beach, California vibes. They even have a nice patio for outdoor seating option. During COVID, they do have a carry out option and have heat lamps for food for pick up. However if you choose to dine in, they do have limited table seating, provide hand sanitizer at each table, and servers are wearing masks.

This place isn't a considered local find for me but glad I went. What stood out the most out of my entire meal there with my friends was their mussels! I can't praise enough how well they were cooked and seasoned. The mussel itself was fully cooked yet somehow still tender which is very hard to do and the broth they cook it in was so good my friend and I kept dipping/sipping the broth alone after we finished the mussels. Although they had great service, I only gave them 4 stars because our other main dishes weren't as stellar as the mussels. Maybe the bar was set too high from the beginning but everything else is average with no shining points.

This is such a great place. The inside is super laid back & beachy, & they have a cute outdoor area as well. Definitely get the calamari & a margarita! I had a Mahi Mahi rice bowl as my lunch and it was great too. I can't wait to come back here. Waitresses are friendly :)

Is there outdoor seating, and if so, are well-mannered dogs allowed?

Yes there is an outdoor patio and also live mellow music. Yes you can bring your dog, at least we saw a little dog out on the patio tonight.

Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

We came here to celebrate a personal milestone and we did it at the last moment. Luckily, there was a table for it. We did not know what to expect, but some menu items had a nice twist to the dish. However, one dish was by far the best: the deviled eggs. The sauce and the prep was just amazing. It is not a lot of food and it is $20, but we both thought it was worth it to come back to eat it again. The other dishes we ordered were good, but the most memorable was the deviled eggs. I liked how they had a leaderboard for frequent customers though. That was cool to just stare at. The location has parking on the rocks and it was full by 6 pm on a Thursday. There is outside seating and limited inside seating. The bar area looked fairly busy because it was happy hour time. Its an old timey restaurant with a more mature setting that made us think of places like eating on Kent Island or Annapolis or St. Michaels. It is a hidden gem here - especially where it was located. We did notice that there was a dominant demographic dining here. We felt a bit out of place, but don't care, the deviled eggs were too good.

While the garlic sauce was generous and delicious, the quality of the mussels themselves was disappointing. They were all open, but they had that "off" taste associated with older seafood. * The Main: Things turned around completely with the pork tenderloin. It was cooked perfectly and paired with a very flavorful sauce. Highly recommended! * The Dessert: Finished with the coconut cake. It was incredibly moist--perhaps a touch too sweet for my personal preference, but tasty enough that I'd definitely order it again. Overall, a great find with just a minor hiccup on the seafood. She was apologetic for the wait and seemed genuinely embarrassed, but we assured her that it was ok and it wasn't her fault. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waiter, Jose. This guy was a rock-star! Customer service was top-notch, and he was extremely friendly. I ordered a plate of Loaded Cheese Fries to share with my son, as we weren't very hungry. When the food was brought to our table it was hot and delicious, but the fries cooled down fast and became stale-feeling. But, to be fair, I suppose that's what happens when you load refrigerated dairy producted on top of hot fries! The men's bathroom was very clean and well kept, and the booth seats were very soft and comfortable. Other than the fries cooling down way too quickly, I have zero complaints and would recommend this location to my friends and family!

Started in their own homes, these two craft meals for fortunate souls who get the experience of great food, genuine humility, and free delivery. Our meal started off with edamame, which was lightly but appropriately seasoned (pepper is always a great addition). The beans popped easily from the pods and the flavor burst demonstrated a knowledge of exactly how these should be prepared. To complement that flavor, the next part of the meal was a delicious rice concoction heavy on spice yet balanced so each part of this dish was a star in itself! The determination to stay true to the taste was evident here, as the occasional extra pop of a small yet potent slice of pepper sent the tastebuds roaring. Simply "bangin'" was this moment of the entire meal. Pasta - who doesn't love the ever versatile pasta dish? Well, from non-vegetarians, let's just say we expected the norm and were set to be pleased but that was it. Well, what a surprise this penne dish was! So perfectly baked that we could have eaten it cold or hot! The vegetables were varied and plentiful, exquisitely matched so that nothing overpowered something else. Ever had that pasta that was so overcooked or oversauced that you couldn't finish it? This wasn't that! Exactly the right amount of everything...and full of nutrients! The portion was so huge that we'll be eating it for days, and for that we are especially grateful! Dessert - you thought they'd forget as some places do, but no, to finish we enjoyed a cake in the shape of a castle. Yes, a castle! It was complete with a homemade frosting whipped to be so light that you could eat it by itself OR with the berries (smart twist to add a little sour with the sweet). We admit we consumed some of this prior to putting it on plates as civilized humans do. It was just that refreshing on this hottest of summer days. After waiting a bit, we noshed on the final part of the meal. The gentlemen included some adorable little cookies that were crisp on the outside and held inside a nice dose of chocolate. The perfect end to the best of meals.
