Such a disappointment. My fiancé and I used to love this place, but the last few times we have ate here the service has been absolutely horrendous. The last time we will eat there was tonight. The service was so bad we ended up walking out, we didn't even end up ordering because the server that took our drink order didn't even come back, 20 minutes went by and another server took our drink order (again) and ended up slamming our drinks on the table and stormed off.... (We had no previous bad interaction with her before this) We weren't even going to waste our time or money there, especially after the pervious time we were there with a larger group about a month ago. The service was SO UNBELIEVABLY BAD. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Take your business somewhere else. We have had about 4 bad experiences here in the last few months, so tonight's experience was the last straw. Had lunch there today and my gf and I thought it was decent, not great. She ordered herself a seaweed salad and spicy crab roll. She said that her salad was good and the roll was just ok. She did not like their wasabi. I ordered the calamari tempura and pot stickers. The calamari was quite tasty but I didn't care much for their pot stickers. The table that they keep their sauces on was a bit disorganized & kind of messy. Our server was pleasant and prices are reasonable. I'll probably go back for the calamari, not the rest. read more

Came here with my son, a friend and her son - around lunch time on a Wednesday. It almost looks like an unfinished restaurant on one side, with only 3 booths. This was my first conveyor belt sushi experience and I was pleased with the freshness and quality. We also ordered the habachi chicken - which came with rice, grilled veggies, and miso soup - for $10 it's a steal! The negative - service was non existent and you have to flag someone down for anything, if you can find someone to flag in the first place. Never got to ask for a fork, or more water. They added an extra plate on my meal as well. With other options for sushi, I probably won't be back. If it was suggested, I'd have no opposition! read more

3 stars for Happy Hour (2-430pm every day) because $1.30-$1.60/plate for average sushi and decent service in a city with a dearth of good sushi options such as Vancouver. Their "Volcano roll" was, admittedly, hot & fresh, but the "baked scallops" consisted of 4 small dime-sized chunks, in some kind of mayo/artificial crab sauce And their namesake "Chiyo roll" was made spicy with Sriracha sauce?!? really? What kind of Japanese Sushi place uses chinese hot sauce??? Very disappointing! That being said, it's cheap, it didn't twist my stomach in knots, and the nigiri fish pieces were larger than average. Once in a year, I visit Vancouver from Los Angeles and I always visit this place to eat sushi. I went this place to eat dinner with my family and we had a great time. I believe he was the manager, he was wearing white shirt, he was very kind. He often came to our booth to ask if we needed anything. All the sushi chefs were very fast in making our orders, too. My favorite is the salmon. This place gives you big/thick salmon. It is very fresh! Their seared salmon is good, too. Their hot calamari is also amazing. They make it in the kitchen and give you hot calamari dish. We also had spicy tuna hand roll, which was amazing. They also have tsing tao beer! read more

We get takeout from here at least twice a month, definitely a better value than other sushi places around the area. Plates (currently) as low as $2.35. I like their tamago, avocado roll, veggie roll, sweet potato roll, and asparagus roll. They never skimp on the ingredients and really fill the rolls. We prefer to order takeout because it can get busy in their small restaurant and the wait can be a little long if they're busy (like they usually are most weekend nights). They no longer use the rotating belt for their sushi, which doesn't matter to me because we get takeout. The staff are nice and have to multitask quite a bit (The hosts are also servers). My partner orders fish sushi and he has never gotten sick from this place and we have eaten their food dozens of times. 4 stars because we have had to wait a while when we dine in for dinner, but are still super pleased with the quality for the price point and the staff for doing their best and working well under pressure. I suggest ordering takeout for dinner, but dine in if you're going around lunch! read more

The reason for three stars is that it's not easy at all to get anyone's attention if you want something not on the belt, or if you're ready to go. Service leaves a lot to be desired. This used to be a nice place. But now, the conveyor belt no longer carries dishes, but instead is heaped with boxes, plastic and other clutter. It gives the impression of a temporary lunch counter for workers in the back of some cluttered warehouse. The kitchen order for my wife was also pretty slow. The Vancouver location refused to turn their conveyor back on after they got their windows fixed/through pandemic. That's fine I guess, but Service is EXTREMELY slow because of this. They cannot keep up with the amount of takeout orders and making orders for each individual seated customers. Even with ordering takeout was going to take up to an hour of wait time. This restaurant is not set up to be have seated sushi service. So disappointed as this used to be our weekly spot. Please get the brand new conveyor belt back on!!! read more

We have been coming here for years, we have noticed that the service has gone down hill but just figured the staffing shortages was the main cause, But tonight was different. Plenty of people working and we waited on food for over an hour. Asked right off the bat for calamari as an appetizer never received it, asked again waited 20 mins again nothing. We finished our drinks paid for them and left, never received any food and wasted over an hour of our time. It is really disappointing as this was our favorite sushi place in WA. Staff is rude, food has been up to 1 hour late for pickup, and they charge near premium prices for sushi that tastes like grocery store sushi.
