**INITIAL REVIEW** Prior to partaking in a meal at Sushi Factory, it must be stressed that I love the all-you-can-eat, order-by-plate experience that I've seen in a many videos of sushi diners in Japan. Ergo, I've been wanting to partake in one when one would eventually open up near where I live. I've had such an experience at a "mom n' pop" of this kind of restaurant in Palm Bay in a new place called Sunshine Sushi, but I am told that Sushi Factory is the "OG" pertaining to such a concept used here in the United States. So did Sushi Factory live up to the hype of the concept? Sadly to say, I was heavily disappointed across the board. Even though an address is provided, the Sushi Factory I went to was located just west of the Eastern Florida State College Melbourne Campus, in a set of strip malls in which the businesses don't do so well. The exception, however, is Sushi Factory... which surprises me gien the initial experience I recieved. I went with my friends, Chops and Nate, as the latter wanted to eat a lot of food. We too our seats at a booth that was typical of fast food restaurants. It took awhile for our waitress, Natalie, to come by and order our drinks. Would be understandable if the place was packed full and she was the only one working, but including my party, there were only seven people total at the time. There are makeshift instructions on how to order food given the fact they have one of those serving robots that come around like R2-D2 from the Star Wars series, holding trays of the food you ordered. We do get a waitress though, so we aren't just left high and dry to figure out what to do. Natalie was nice enough, but she seemed distracted which will be brought up multiple times throughout the review. We made our slip orders for food which included an array of basic and premier sushi, onigiri (single-serving bites that include a slice of raw fish and rice), teriyaki BBQ, appetizers, soup and salads, and drinks. It took while for Natalie to get our slip order and even longer than usual for our initial order of food. Once again, would understand if she was the only one and it was packed, but there were only seven of us patrons total and at least two sushi chefs up in front. To top off the disappointment, most of the food was mediocre. Passable and edible, but given its price, I was not too happy. Ultimately, this was not a good initial visit to The Sushi Factory. And as the coup de grace, Natalie mixed up our orders in which many of us charged by credit card. I ended up paying for my friend Nate's check while he paid mine. In short, I paid for more. This Sushi Factory was overall a sad experience. I will give them one more chance to get their butts in shape, but if they fail that time, too, depending on how they are, they might get an unwanted deduction on their upcoming review. If they improve? Well... we'll just have to wait.

Special thanks to Karen for introducing me to different types of sushi . I loved seeing the robot bringing the food . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice quiet place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Unlimited sushi and starters, I can't complain. For lunch it was $19, but I think it's worth it if you eat enough food. The service sucked though. We had never been here before, so we wrote on our slips the names of the food and it took about 3 attempts before we were finally told how to place an order "correctly" without the server giving us a side eye. Also, after the third round, you definitely feel like you're being rushed out. The food is great though. Loved the strawberry tea latte! The sushi is yummy! I would definitely come back. Also side note, why is there already a service charge placed on the receipt??? It makes people not want to tip and I know that charge isn't going to the waitress!! TikTok Reviewer: acaicaitlin

Based on the reviews we almost didn't go but I am happy we did go. Sure there are things that could be improved but overall we had a good time and the sushi was very decent for an all-you-can-eat concept. They also have a-la-cart. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was quiet when we walked in but got a lot busier later on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But [[HIGHLIGHT]]the booth tables create your own ambiance, separated from others.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Speed of food delivery was not the fastest but it was ok. Dont go eat here if you are in a rush but enjoy the moment that you are with your party and having a good time. Unfortunate not pictures of food, as we were hungry :)

The food was amazing! Me and my sister were stuffed from all of the sushi! The service was nice and the robot was super cute! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is also pretty much clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is a solid 3.5 stars! Food is good but they are lacking in the service department. This was our first time here and we had 7pm reservations and arrived on time. Due to it being Valentines Day I expected it to busy but they were not packed. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and show us to a table. When we did finally get seated, we were given a menu and our server asked for drink orders. They don't serve alcohol of any kind so I settled on a sweet tea. They offer all you can eat sushi, appetizers, soups and salad. Ordering is a little confusing as you order based on your table and seat number. It's easy to forget what your seat number is because most of the booths can accommodate 6 people but if there are only 3 of you, you have to make sure to remember your seat number. There's a diagram at each table but still it's somewhat confusing. Once your order is ready either your server or their cute robot will bring your items to you. Food is made to order so there may be a wait in between orders. Also I should note that we never were able to catch our server to get drink refills so I would ask for 2 drinks up front just in case. I'm looking forward to my next visit as I now know how to approach ordering.

I personally loved this place. Dinner however is a fixed price and my son really couldn't eat that much so we didn't come out with our money's worth. It's still a bit confusing on the fixed gratuity 18% do we tip on top of that? I would come back !

The food here is always delicious. My husband and I go at least once a month. The sashimi is what stands out super thick cut slices unlimited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only time I ever had a bad experience was when they opened up that karaoke booth. Not ideal to spend $70 on a fancy dinner and have screechy teenagers, singing badly on purpose to get a rise out of their friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was maybe funny for 10 minutes, but it went on for well over an hour. Regardless, this is one of my top restaurants in Brevard.

My favorite part is you can do flights. I ordered three soup and two slider flight. Soups: tomato basil and lobster bisque. Both were good alone but they mixed well too. The bisque was one of the better ones I've had. I could actually taste the basil in the tomato basil. Sliders: chicken salad and pimento cheese. Both were good, but alone without soup they're just ok. The best part of the sliders is they come on Hawaiian rolls. I would definitely go again since I love soup.

**INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morelike to consider myself, at times, a connoisieur of soups. I love them all, and I don't even mean just the ones most people know of, but ones that are often passed over simply because they are not known. Good example: the savory cold soups that are meant to be cold, not just a hot soup you serve cold because you're lazy to wait a minute for it to warm up in a microwave. I will even go as far as to say that I love chili with beans... and without. Doesn't matter. It is a chucky soup. I like creamy soup. I like chunky soup. I like chunky and creamy soup. I like soup... and kudos to anyone who got the classic Eddie Murphy stand-up comedy joke right there. Anyways, The Soup Shop in, what I will call the part of Melbourne between Suntree and Melbourne Major (where Historic Downtown Melbourne) is located, right near the Eastern Florida State College Melbourne campus, is the original location (that I know of). I have been a couple of times, and every single time, it has been great. As a matter of fact, the Soup Shop answers that question I've asked which is, "What if there was a restauant that served an array of soups I can choose from?" Questioned answered and with flying colors, too. Pertaining to its ambiance, the Soup Shop doesn't exactly stand out compared to some of the decor these new restaurants seem to push as part of their experience. Instead, their decor is simplistic, but they so happen to really promote and push one particular artist as her paintings are all over the walls of the restaurant. As for the soup, I decided to get the flight, which is a sample (flight) size of three soups of your choice. Certain soups do have a specialty upcharge, specifically the bisques, and some can't be made in such because of how they are prepared, specifically the ramen. Despite that, there are a wide array of soup choices to choose from. You now, chunky soup, creamy soup, chunky and creamy soup. And to be serious for a moment, they also have soups that cater to special dietary needs. I saw a whole cooler full of ready-to-warm-up soups for bariatrics. As for the prices, they are not bad all. I think the soup flight was about $12, which is not bad at all for three soups a little bigger than a cup but smaller than a bowl. They also serve other food items such as sandwiches and desserts. My suggestion: the grilled cheese. Definitely pair it with the tomato soup. Ultimately, I am going to give the OG Soup Shop four out of five stars. They were outstanding the two times I went, but I need to try more of their food to see if they are consistent... because most people know that my fifth star is awarded after reviews (unless I've been to a business more than let's say five times) and they are consistent. I truly think The OG Soup Shop will be consistent, but you never know.

**INITIAL REVIEW **…read more The Soup Shop located in central Melbourne, which I will say is the area between Eau Gallie and Suntree, is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the mid-Melbourne area, the area between Eau Gallie and Suntree. I mean, it is a restaurant that sells soup, and I mean more than one soup or even more than the common numbers of two to five soups. Think twenty soups or more. Ergo, when I found out that another Soup Shop location would open in West Melbourne, FL, I was excited. Not only would one of my favorite restaurants have another location available, but this one so happens to be closer to me. The question is if this new location would be as good as the OG. Despite not being a 1-to-1 of excellence to the OG, this new location is still excellent. Though an address is provided, the new Soup Shop location is located in the Palm Crossing Shopping Center a.k.a. Publix Shopping Plaza West Melbourne on Palm Bay Rd. (because to be fair, all the best shopping plazas in Florida happen to be Publix shopping plazas). If it helps, the new Apocalypse Coffee Roasters location is also in the same plaza. Upon entering the locale, it is like walking into a cozy nook you'd like to sit in and enjoy a book. Multiple two-person seating is available up front with one on the eastside. I usually sit on the eastside table as it is closest to the fountain dispenser, as all fountan drinks have free refills. As for service, the ladies working there are great, especially the team lead/manager who works on weekdays. I definitely like how she initiates conversation by asking about the t-shirt you are wearing. I was wearing my "EXPLORE" shirt and she asked me what it is I am exploring. Usually, it would be geocaches and/or letterboxes, but at the time, soup flavors! Which brings me to the six flavors of soup I had via the flight. Yes. The Soup Shop serves flights (and that is all the locations from what I know, too). I had the Dragon Stew, chili, chicken gumbo, tomato soup, creamy garlic tomato soup, and she crab bisque. Details of the soups are in the pics, but definitely loved the tomato soups especially with their fantastic grilled cheese sandwich they have on their menu. And on a sidenote: the restroom was unisex and clean. Definitely no drips on the floor or anything like that. Ultimately, I am going to give this Soup Shop - West Melbourne, four out of five stars. All and all, they are excellent, but we'll have to see if they are consistent. If they are consistently excellent, not perfect, just excellent, they'll get their fifth star for consistency.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more I've been wanting to dine at Senzu Noodle Bar and Boba (which I will shorthand simply to Senzu for the remainder of this review) for the longest time, simply because it is relative to the Dragonball Series. Ever seen what happens to anyone who eats a senzu bean? Back to the review, I finally got the chance to go into Senzu, ready to dine on both noodles and boba. I mean it is in the name, right? Upon entering, the ambiance is a cross between modern restaurant and traditional ramen shop. I noticed the long wall bar where patrons would line up and enjoy their bowls of ramen during their lunch break, but I also recognize the tables for formal dine-in. As for ordering, they have the traditional face-to-face ordering along with a "contactless" kiosk. Senzu offers a decent range of appetizers, mains centered on noodle dishes such ramen, yakisoba, and udon, rice bowls, and boba. There are more to list, but the aforementioned is the primary bulk of the menu. From said menu, I ordered miso chicken ramen and Thai boba tea. The ramen was very flavorful, with a decent amount of ramen, add-ons, and chicken for $16.00. The Thai boba tea was good too at $4.00. Yes, I will say the price is a bit on the high side these days, but the price of food is going up in general. There is also a specials menu, made new every single day or week. One of the specials on said menu was unagi on rice, or grilled eel with tare glaze on rice. Since it was a special, it had the special price, too, at $20. Not complaining, but take note that specials definitely have special pricing. Was it good? It was, but definitely had better. As a matter of fact, I have had better of each of the food items I ordered. Still, you can't go wrong eating here at Senzu, unless you want to spend a little less. But you know what? I would not expect any less from the same people who own So-Ju Chicken and Bakudan Street Food. Ultimately, I will give Senzu a solid four-out-of-five star rating for this review. Definitely a good place to eat, and a new restaurant to enjoy such food. If they are consistent with their food and presentation (service included), I will grant them their fifth star for consistency.
