He is super sensitive to anything containing vinegar and he is amazed at how much fresher their Sashimi and sushi are. He says the store bought sushi tastes like it's steeped in vinegar (mainly the rice) but this sushi doesn't have that strong vinegar odor and taste. Having just moved to HV and craving sushi. I found this little gem for the local area. We ordered a couple of rolls and a combo platter. "All good" I would say in the main. However, they have ramen too! This is where Sushi Go falls flat on its face. As soon as I opened the "to go" ramen. I thought my eyes deceived me. Netherless, this was "Instant ramen"! Please do not give people instant ramen for anyone unless you cook the packet yourself at home (and I do frequently)! I would have given sushi go a 4 *. But as you can read it was not worthy of that, especially at $6.00. You have been warned! But will be back for the namesake. read more

My husband and I finally stopped in here after driving past it almost everyday and a recommendation from a friend. We were warmly greeted by the staff and given roll recommendations by what we liked. We ate at the location, but most people take to go or delivery (which is awesome!). We got a avocado, philadelphia and california roll, along with a few of their special rolls. They also brought out a chef special roll at no cost. All of the rolls were amazing and high quality. Avocado was fresh, smoked salmon was perfect. Will be going back soon. read more

Great customer service and experience. Food is amazing and I will definitely be stopping by this place whenever I get the chance! It's affordable, quick, quality sushi in the area. I have loved going to this location on and off for years, today I was told there would be a 55 minute wait for my food - it's now been an hour and a half and I am still waiting, about 15 minutes ago I checked in to see how much longer and they told me it as almost ready. I completely understand that businesses are working under different time constraints right now, but being honest goes a long way. Let me know you're backed up and will need some extra time. No, really, zero stars. People giving SushiGo 5 stars are smoking crack - or getting paid. This sushi is barely above what you could buy at your worst grocery store in the middle of nowhere. I ordered a spicy tuna and salmon nigiri. I look at the spicy tuna, and I can't even see the tuna. Seriously, almost zero tuna and a bunch of KRAB meat. If I wanted fake krab, I would order fake krab. I complained to the lady, and she was very nice, I give her that. I showed them pictures of spicy tuna from literally all the other sushi restaurants in FM, and all I got from her husband was "ours is different." They remade it but it tastes awful. I hope I don't get sick from eating some of it or the king size York peppermint patty I had to eat afterwards to get the taste out of my mouth. Yuck. Never going back. read more

This is my favorite go-to sushi place! The owners are adorable and the rolls are always consistent and soooooo yummy!

It was alright. The rolls are tasty. But all the 3 rolls I ordered were very small even the one special roll I ordered was tiny and didn't look as big as other people's pictures. For something quick and easy it's not bad a step up above grocery store sushi and service was friendly and fast. If I had just ordered a bunch of regular rolls I guess I wouldn't have felt too disappointed. The regular rolls although smaller that average are about 5 dollars each and it's a full 8 piece roll too. It not like I expected gourmet sushi but for a cheap sushi fix it will suffice. I'll just stick to ordering the regular rolls next time. Update: I've been back twice now and they've greatly improved. The special rolls are much better and hold their shape and they taste delicious they're affordable and tasty and service is always nice and friendly. I always get full off a special roll and a regular roll which is good cause it's affordable but I never get stamps that way unless I spend atleast $20 dollars,that's probably the only negative I have about this place now wish they changed it to $15 dollars to get stamps because the rewards system is a good idea. I highly recommend the lion king roll it's my favorite here because of the salmon and crunch bits on top along worth the spicy crab filling I always order it. Love this place.. Went in to eat a couple times, and got delivery today. Sushi is really good, and the prices are ridiculously reasonable... $8 for special rolls, and $5 for regular rolls... can't beat that. and the quality is really good. I'm pretty sensitive to taste and I can tell when things are off... Today I ordered the volcano roll, and a lot of sushi places the scallops have a weird taste to them, like you can tell their frozen, old, or just not that fresh... but the scallops here have a neutral taste like their are supposed to. I love the "Ida" its a baked roll, probably my favorite of the ones I ordered. Glad this place exists, a little sad I will be moving to Denton, so this won't be close by anymore :/ read more
