Mall sushi often makes me weary, but the craving kicked in and I wasn't willing to drive to my usual sushi spot. Sushi GoGo is very speedy and from the looks of it they look pretty clean. I appreciate the amount of fish they put into their rolls, especially the hand rolls. I did not like how watery and tasteless their wasabi is. Also their seaweed salad is lacking, made up of over half cucumber. The price is fair for what your getting, but this is more of a convenience thing, not a place you'd seek out.

I never really expected much from mall food-court sushi, but I actually find myself going out of my way for this stuff sometimes. It's super affordable, it's quick, and most importantly it's actually really good sushi. They have a 3 for $9 deal on their simple/basic rolls, but that's my favorite kind of sushi so I love it. I've tried the California, Spicy Tuna, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Salmon and Philadelphia roll. They've all been great. My friend also raves about the Volcano roll but personally I don't like my sushi completely deep fried.. it takes away from the actual sushi flavor. But if that's your thing, I hear they do a great job of that too. To have sushi as a food-court option is really cool, and to have GOOD sushi as a food-court option is even better. Definitely give it a chance if you've been debating it!

I really enjoy this sushi spot. I will go out of my way to order sushi from here even when not planning on going to the mall. Sushi is prepared very well, and have an extensive sushi / sashimi / ramen menu! Staff is very nice and diligent. Also, how can you pass up a 6 pc roll for only $4!!??? I'm giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars because this time the salmon looks somewhat discolored?

Doing some shopping today and remembered this little jewel of a sushi place. The place is a small kiosk type but the food they are able to produce is pretty good. I am not going to compare them to the other sushi places that I have been to but I will say they will surprise you. We got our norms, Peppered Tuna Roll and Volcano Roll. The Volcano Roll is a deep fried roll with cream cheese, crab and avocado. It also is covered in spicy mayo and eel sauce. The entire thing comes out warm and is very flavorful. This time it was a bit crunchier than other times, which was not as good. The other roll is the Pepper Tuna and comes with shredded crab and avocado topped with a slice of slightly cooked tuna and spicy mayo. The pepper flavor is pronounced so you might want to like pepper. The tuna was a bit more cooked than normal, which again was not a good thing. Overall, it was good but I have had better here. I will definitely stop again as they are my go to when shopping at this mall.

Heard there was a place in the Rivertown Mall serving good ramen from someone I trust and was not disappointed! I got the BBQ Pork Ramen; the pork was tender, the veggies good, and the broth and noodles were delicious. My sister got the Veggie Ramen and had similar things to say; she ended up saving half for her lunch tomorrow, while I demolished mine. Is it the best ramen I've ever had? No, but the decent price and the fact that I don't have to make a round trip to Lansing more than make up for it. Saw quite a few people ordering sushi and from the looks of it, I'll definitely have to be back to try that as well!

AAC roll, fried sweet potato roll while walking (don't try this at home). Not bad at all, especially for mall sushi.

I was super surprised that this place even exists. I've never seen a sushi place inside a food court (perhaps I just never noticed?). I dont frequent shopping malls, as they spiritually exhaust me, but I do occasionally go to the Celebration Cinema at RiverTown to see films that are only playing at that location. And the last two times Ive been to RiverTown, I've happened to get hungry and happened upon this little sushi kiosk in their food court. Convenient, cheap, fast, and filling, it does the trick in a rush, and is world's better than pretty much all of the other mall food court options. They have decent vegetarian sushi options as well. And Im curious to try their veggie ramen next time Im hungry at Rivertown mall.

Amazing! A small little sushi bar at the food court and will be back for more. I tried the Volcano roll real good but it was a bit too much cream cheese just have them put less in. Dancing Eel Roll taste like the one Little Tokyo has (Special Tokyo Roll) but a bit bigger!

Great customer service. Also looks very clean. I tried the tempura roll. And oh boy it was perfect if you are a sushi fan I recommend this place. I definitely enjoyed it

It was fast to order and make. I decided to stand on the back end where you can see them making the rolls. It seems like they have the ingredients prepared to the individual size amount needed for that roll. So I order the shrimp tempura the man grabbed the rice, the shrimp and cucumber packs opened them up and rolled them together. This made making sushi look easy. While the guy was making the order before mine, he sneezed! He put his hands in the air and sneezed towards the ground. I never saw him use his hands as he spread his germs towards the floor. But it would have been nice to see him change his gloves at least. The man w/his family heard the sneeze I believe cause he turned around and started watching. But he missed the possible contamination on his food. So the guy hands the tray to the lady to hand to customer. He walks around in the back grabs something out of the fridge he touches the corner of the back counter and goes into a cabinet to get supplies. Then he went on to making my one roll. HE NEVER CHANGED OUT HIS GLOVES. Yuck I'm sure other people put their hands on the fridge handle w/out gloves. Or even w/them on doing something else. Their prices are reasonable and quick to make sushi that taste fresh, but I have a hard to believing they change out gloves periodically. Need I say more???

The shrimp-filled Gyoza was heavenly, the salmon bento was generous , flavorful, and so satisfying that we even took some home!! The beef was perfectly cooked and honestly, every bite made me smile. The service from the waitstress was top-notch friendly, attentive, and really made our experience enjoyable. The restaurant was crowded but the music in the background made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. A few things could be improved: the reception could be friendlier (a smile goes a long way!), sometimes when someone greets you with a frown, it makes it hard to get excited for the restaurantexperience. and we were seated right next to the kitchen, which got a little noisy. I think it would make the experience even better if tables weren't so close to the kitchen. All in all, Sakura is a nice place! Delicious food, great service, and a fun vibe. I'll definitely be coming back, hopefully with a better table next time!

I am curious in the dead of winter if it's remotely warm inside. The regular sushi set was $22 and comes with soup or salad. A pretty good price . Would have liked a hot tea option.
