Great little place. Staff was really friendly and fast w service. Had a rainbow, Alaskan, spicy tuna roll and all were solid and the prices were reasonable. Also at my table was the hibachi filet. It was good ! But we order take out . We didn't get to experience the atmosphere ! The Mexican roll was ok , it had a little too much breading . Very little shrimp . So I won't be ordering that again . Some of the rolls were mushy cause of their eel sauce . I wish they didn't put it on . And put the sauce on the side . Might try it again read more

Poor service is mostly why the bad review. We primarily eat raw sushi (chirashi bowl and hand rolls). The quality was ok but the presentation was terrible and serving size was small. I wish I would have taken photos. The sushi chef wouldn't interact with us and the staff stared at us while we ate because we were the only ones in the restaurant. They rushed us out 1 hour before closing and made us feel uncomfortable. The restaurant is clean and attractive but doesn't compensate for the rest of the poor quality! I would not recommend this restaurant if you are a true sushi connoisseur. read more

Service was very good. I had the Tokyo roll which was very tasty. Sushi Tako was very fresh and the Unagi sushi melts in your mouth. Small seating area made it very cozy but you could hear conversations at other tables, so I am sure it is loud when crowded- place probably holds 50 people read more

Served us really old fish. Then had the waitress come over and tell us something is wrong with their refrigerator. We showed them brown tuna in the rolls and they argued no that's eel so I pulled the tuna out and showed them it's tuna. Then they agreed. They still charged us!!! Their customer service was terrible!!! I came in one day to order food and stood in front of the girls at the front and they kept doing things around their station and not even looking at me. I ended up standing in front of them for almost 10 minutes looking like an idiot, trying to be patient but then I decided to leave. No, they were not even busy either. The crab Rangoon here is awful. Probably some of the worst I've had. Literally nothing inside the shell and the sushi, well it's not that great either. I've been here half a dozen times. Have had takeout and visits have ranged from peak Sat night to slow weekday afternoon. All visits excellent. Food, service and staff all excellent. Not cheap but if you want cheap go next door to Subway or Publix. Not a large place with slightly limited seating so don't go here thinking you'll be tucked away from everyone else or your 12 person birthday party won't be met with hate from other diners. I have enjoyed my eating experience at Sushi Hana since they have opened. My favorite of course is the avocado bomb. The squid salad is another favorite of mine besides the pink shrimp roll. We love the sushi from Sushi Hana! We like the basics like spicy tuna roll and salmon and avocado. The salmon nigiri was delicious too! We lived in Japan for 3 years, and while we can't really compare it to sushi in Japan because the style is so different, this is our favorite local place that we've found. read more

My wife purchased a couple rolls to-go, then once home we noticed right away that it was funky smelling fish. I drove the food back to their restaurant with the receipt and all the food, asking for a refund. The refund was refused. They also denied that the fish was bad. An argument ensued about food poisoning. They offered to give me a discount on my next visit. I refused the discount and again requested a refund. They refused to contact a manager for me. They refused to let me talk to the guy who made the rolls. Then I left and will never return. Addition to my review: Today I had an (anonymous) owner of Sushi Hana contact me about my review. In the message this owner claims that I did not go to Sushi Hana, and then went on to suggest I visited another sushi business in the area. This owners claim is incorrect. I can confirm that my review is definitely linked to this exact business address. Also notice that another Yelp reviewer has posted a similar bad experience when they tried to return bad smelling fish. read more

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but I simply can't. From the moment we walked in (45 minutes before closing) until we left, we felt rushed to get out as soon as possible(even though their closing is stated as 10:30 on their door/online/maps/yelp). The server and service felt as if a robot was serving us. No smile, no emotion. We simply felt unwelcome. So, we show up at 9:45, order drinks and at 9:52 are told the sushi chefs are closing up at 10, we need to have our order in as soon as possible. At this point, we just order a few random rolls and hope for the best even though we would've loved to see more of the menu. The rolls we ordered we actually really good. A girl kept walking by checking to see how far along we were before returning to the counter to check her phone(where our server was too on his phone). We value service and treatment as much as the food. I wish we'd had a different experience because we truly want to support other businesses but I need to let others know how rude+rushed to get the heck out we were treated. read more

Nothing special. I ordered the volcano roll based on the server's recommendation and the monster roll. Despite the vast difference, both rolls tasted exactly the same. They weren't horrible but they weren't great either. I have a favorite sushi spot already but I like to try new things. This place is a one and done. read more
