Absolutely spectacular experience at Sushi Masa! I went with my family and we did the all you can eat option, and everyone left completely satisfied. For the quality, variety, and amount of food you can enjoy, it was an absolute bargain. I tried the Out of Control Roll and the Masa Toro Crunchy Roll, and both were excellent. The rolls were beautifully prepared, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I also had the sashimi, which was incredibly fresh and delicious, along with the pepper tuna and salmon carpaccio; both were outstanding and some of the highlights of the meal. What impressed me just as much as the food was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a very upscale, modern Japanese feel. The decor is beautiful, the placement of the bar adds to the whole look, and the space feels polished and elegant without being overly formal. It honestly felt like dining at a much more expensive Japanese restaurant. The service was also very good. Everything came out smoothly, the staff was attentive, and the overall experience felt well organized, especially considering we were ordering from an all-you-can-eat menu. What really stood out to me was that the quality never felt compromised just because it was all you can eat. My friends and I went here for the all-you-can-eat dinner option, which was $36.95 per person. The service was adequate, but our server would disappear for long periods of time before coming back to check on us. The all-you-can-eat menu includes a drink, salads, hot and cold appetizers, sushi rolls, sashimi, fried rice, tempura, and dessert. If everyone in your party chooses the all-you-can-eat option, you can also try each other's dishes. Overall, the dishes we had were okay. The standouts were the sushi rolls, the rocking shrimp (which my friend really enjoyed), and some of the sashimi. One thing I didn't particularly like about some of the rolls and appetizers like the Asian taco was that they were heavily covered in sauce, which could sometimes be overpowering. Some of the sashimi cuts were also a little sloppy. A cleaner, more precise cut would improve the presentation and overall experience. That said, I think the amount of food you get for the price, especially with a drink included, makes it worth checking out. If you're in the area, I'd say give it a try. With a few small improvements in presentation and consistency, I think they could get closer to a four-star experience. read more

We seen unappropriate head coverings on one of bartenders wearing totally not appropriate. Let's get into the food . We both ordered the all you can eat . I like that they include soft drinks and teas with refills or 1 alcoholic drink. No refills. The bar waiter was too busy to handle all of the guest at the bar . So most of us didn't get what we ordered and not attention to detail. House wine not sure the brand it was good . We both ordered soups never received them or the order wasn't placed . My first time at this restaurant & if I lived closer I would definitely be making this a regular go to place. When I first arrived the parking lot was packed, & I was worried there may be a bit of a wait, especially since this was a spur of the moment stop so I didn't have a reservation. My server was very friendly & went over the menu a bit with me since it was my first time here, & I decided on doing the AYCE dinner that way I could try a bit of everything. I got some hot green tea as well as a bottle of Peach Soju. I got a whole pot for the tea, & the soju was served in a small ice bucket, which I thought was cool because I love to keep mine chilled! I started off with a couple appetizers & some sashimi, the presentation was amazing & the freshness of the seafood delicious! My favorite was definitely the Blue Fin tuna, & apparently I wasn't the only fan because they had run out of almost all of it which was a little sad but just means I'll have to come again to try some more lol. The sushi rolls were fantastic & rolled perfectly, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I wanted to order 1 of every roll but after my fourth roll I could feel myself getting full & sadly had to stop there. I did order some fried oreos for dessert which just hit different when they are done in tempura batter, I love it! The service was extremely slow. It took three hours for us from start to finish from salad to dessert which Tammy is two hours too long. Our food came out very Peace meal. Some people got salads, and the other people sat for at least a half an hour before the next set of food came out we all ordered the all you can eat. A bit limited as far as the sushi goes but still lots to choose from. My only complaint is that they will make no substitutions or allow you to change the rolls in any way. You have to pay full price for the roll if that's what you want. If it was busy, I understand, but this is a rule no matter when you come. The food is fresh and flavorful. The building is beautiful. Today, my dining partner and I decided to give this place a try. Neither of us are eating a large amount of food right now so we chose not to use the all you can eat option on the menu. Also, we were presented with menus right away. Insight has an upscale pleasant feel, and comfortable seating. The menu does have a lot of options and also I will say most of them look very appetizing. Another thing I really liked was when we came in we were asked if anyone had food allergies, which is great because you know from reading my reviews if you have that I do. Our server was full of personality and very helpful and went over every detail on the menu with us to make sure that we were happy with our choices. We also ordered Coke, zero which they said they had I really did not have Coke zero instead it was definitely Diet Coke. I'm only mentioning this because I am sensitive to Diet Coke but not Coke Zero. The food was good. I had steak teriyaki with white rice and it was full of flavor. The soup was ok, and the salad was large and pretty high quality. My partner had salmon hibachi with fried rice and a side of noodles, and notes that the salmon was fresh and that the rice had decent flavor, but that the noodles did not have a good hibachi flavor. My family and I always go to Sushi Masa for lunch and sometimes dinner. We usually get the AYCE and they offer such a great variety even for the picky eaters (especially their dinner menu). The sashimi tastes fresh and the flavors for the rolls and appetizers are unique and tasty. They're usually pretty fast about bringing out the food and come by to check in often. I especially love the variety of the menu; they have lots of hand rolls, sashimi, sushi, specialty rolls, grill items (noodles and tempura), and soups/salads. One thing for sure they make it right here is the wait for sushi is very short after order. This sushi place is not cheap for the price. Yes they do have everything but very normal in the menu. My sister and I noticed ants at our booth. When I asked the hostess stand about it, the manager said, "Wipe it down." Frustrated, I had to request a different booth, but they didn't address the ant issue since another party was seated there afterward. It was disgusting! I also saw the floors were sticky and poorly cleaned. At the new booth, my sister found an old menu wedged between the seat and wall--gross! The menus didn't seem clean either, as they only use Dawn Powerwash. We both observed that the bussers barely cleaned the tables, seats, and floors, which was truly shocking. It's interesting that the menu says sashimi or sushi but I think it's mid-labeled and should say "sashimi or nigiri." The torched salmon nigiri was my favorite. Eel was also pretty good. The cold tastings were pretty tasty, esp the tuna kurakka. The teriyaki steak was too dry. I don't recommend the Hokkaido roll but I didn't try the other rolls since we mostly wanted to try the sashimi. The edamame didn't blow my mind and I'm not sure I would recommend ordering this. Yakisoba is supposed to be dry but it's was too saucy. I wish they told us about the weekly special menu. We find out after we paid that it was part of the buffet (we saw the table next to use order items from that menu.) We tried all the desserts because they seemed interesting. Turns out I don't really like fried desserts. The ice cream didn't have the authentic matcha or red bean flavor, was too sweet. On the weekends, they charge dinner prices for lunchtime. Tried out this new sushi place on a friday night. The place was busy but not super packed. There was a wait list, for about 15' wait but no wait for the bar. They do not take reservation when we called in advance tho. We did not do the buffet option but the sushi for two. Food came pretty quickly and looked amazing. Fish was fresh and good quality. However, the rice was so undercooked which made me unable to enjoy anything I ate that involves rice. It def downgraded my experience significantly. I dont think I will be back. read more

This place is still a new spot compared to other sushi locations and was extremely satisfied with the experience. Big space with many seating options and were seated right away even in busiest times. Menu had many varieties and tried some items that weren't at other locations, which were all fantastic. Scallops and sweet shrimps were my favorite but all the sashimis were top notch quality.
