We actually ordered all the fried appetizers- the soft shell crab (4pc) were half crab and lightly fried with a ponzu dipping sauce. The oysters were breaded heavier and the oyster was plump and juicy with an bbq dipping sauce. The takoyaki was also fried nicely with bonito flakes. We ordered family style and got the perfect 10 (sushi) and 2 sushi rolls. The fish quality was fabulous and I enjoyed all the sushi. I would like to come back and try their happy hour and their other menu options. Wonderful night with attentive service. We will be back!

Nestled in the Johns Creek Regal plaza, the restaurant is small and unassuming, but has a good atmosphere; the kitchen is visible in the corner and the booths offer decent privacy. Bathrooms are single stall but large inside, manual sink and paper towels available. Only downside is the floor was quite slippery walking around so be careful. They now have a new menu with curry udon featured, where you will get a bowl of curry udon with tofu skin and ground pork, and also any of their various katsu options on the side. Their curry sauce is solid, decently flavourful, and pairs quite well with the katsu and either udon or rice. The cabbage salad with black sesame sauce that comes with each meal is a favourite! Tonkatsu has good meatiness to it, we have not tried the highest tier fattiest katsu. Cheese katsu has excellent cheese pull and also has a decent amount of pork to back it up as well. Chicken wings have a nice soysauce/black pepper coating but the meat is a little plain otherwise. Food overall comes out quite quickly and has always been fresh. Service is excellent, staff are very attentive and even with a fairly full restaurant, we felt they came by quite often and quickly. We had the three onigiri, a steak bento box, eel bento box and takoyaki. It took them a little bit to make the food. They brought us complimentary miso soup and out boba drinks. The miss was warm and had a nice flavor. With so many other boba shops around I would not order those again. But the food once it came out was fresh, very flavorful and served with a smile. We really enjoyed out bento boxes and did not mind the wait. If I had one suggestion, it would be to invest in better seating options as they were not supporting the larger members of our party. The standout was the Lobster Lover, followed very closely by the Triple X. The snow mountain roll was a bit heavy with the tempura flakes ( the Snow? ) but decent overall. Recapping, the service, flavors and vibe all warrant future visits for certain, if for no other reason than to try their other offerings, which are plentiful!
