Pleasantly surprised. I tried a few simple items for lunch on my break just to see what it was like. I got the sushi roll & hand roll combo - stinky roll and spicy tuna hand roll. Both were well made and tasty. Tuna did seem a bit more fresh than the albacore on the stinky roll, but I will be back sooner than later to try other menu items. I got the Tray Mix 1 sushi platter which allows you to choose the 4 rolls (got the sumo, dragon, spider, and stinky rolls). For the amount and price point, it's pretty worth it! Ordered ahead on the phone and it was estimated to take 1 hour; however, it was ready even sooner as I got the text notification for pickup in about 30 mins. When I got there, the place is a bit small and in a non-busy plaza but don't let that deter you as the place itself was clean and service was great. Would definitely recommend getting a platter for when the whole fam wants sushi or even for parties. Will be back for sure as everything tasted delicious! read more

The sushi rolls here are so good. I was surprised by the portion size tbh it's not the baby Philadelphia rolls I typically get for the same price. The rolls are definitely bang for your buck. This hole-in-the-wall sushi spot in Norwalk honestly surprised me with affordability and quality! You can also dine in with their seating, but overall feels like a grab-and-go spot. There are so many rolls to try, and I want to try more the next time I'm in the area. I was hungry, so I got the Chicken Kaarage bowl with crispy chicken and spicy mayo on top of rice. This was so good, but I wish it had been prefaced on the menu. There was spicy mayo on top drizzled. I enjoyed the crispy chicken, and was satisfying to the taste buds. Next, I got the White Alaska Roll with salmon on the outside and crabmeat/avocado inside. It tasted refreshing and is better than some sit-down spots in Long Beach, haha. Sushi n go is truly a hole in the wall spot! All the rolls here are around $10 which is really affordable. Honestly, my expectations for the sushi here weren't super high given how affordable it is, but it was actually really good. I ordered the spicy rainbow roll, baked salmon roll, and crunch roll and really enjoyed them all (with the baked salmon roll being my favorite). The rolls themselves are big and I didn't feel like they skimped out on fish. I'm definitely interested in trying more from the menu in the future. The store here is on the smaller end, however, there are a few seats available if you wanted to dine in. It did seem like everyone who came took their orders to go though. The sushi comes out pretty fast! We ordered a few rolls for carryout. They have a decent assortment option, although I was annoyed that I couldn't find a gyoza/Cali roll combo for my less adventerous friend. The regular rolls I ordered were pretty tasty! Although I don't know how I feel about the karaage roll, this was just a roll with karaage pieces on top of the rolls and a bit of sauce to 'tie it together'. Meh on this one, although they tasted fine individually. The restaurant is small and was getting pretty full while we waited for our order. The workers seemed pretty friendly. I'll definitely be back for rolls. I enjoy that I didn't need to customize everything like the other place in Norwalk where the default is sriracha mayo on everything! read more

I was in a bind because another place I went to cancelled my order so I called this place around 3:30 on Christmas Eve to see if they could still make a platter. I was greeted on the phone by a nice woman on the phone who told me they closed at 5 and took my order right away with no hesitation. I believe I ordered the tray mix 2. It came with 70 pieces: 4 rolls and the rest an assortment of sushi. I'm so sad I did not get to take a picture of it, since everyone started eating right away. We did have to leave it in the fridge for about an hour until our gathering started so it was not 100% fresh. Over all my family and I enjoyed the food and will definitely be returning to try some new items. Only gave a 4 right now since I wasn't able to eat it right away. Happy to find sushi n go in Norwalk! Plenty of parking shared with other businesses. They are located right next to 7 eleven. I frequented their previous location in Torrance inside S mart. We love the hand roll options here, no fuss or frills just straight up good sushi. The owners are very friendly and kind. Packaging up your to go order quickly with the needed chopsticks and soy sauce and napkins everyone needs. I believe the husband is in the back prepping all your food. We tried dining in one time and that experience was just ok. Everything was still served in to go containers so I think my brain is set on this place being a carry out or to go only option for us. UPDATE (01/2024): My husband and I ordered two of our usuals today--the baked salmon roll and the stinky roll--and were met with some disappointment. The quality of the rolls has gone downhill. Visually and taste-wise, they were different and not in a good way. Someone mentioned here on Yelp that they recently changed management, and it shows in their food. * Baked salmon roll - It's usually moist and baked with a nice layer of sauce. Salmon is typically pretty thick too, like 1 cm. Today, it was dry and they really skimped on the salmon. Each slice of salmon was super thin that it might as well have been a baked CA roll...no thanks. I was super disappointed with this tonight. * Stinky roll - When I first opened this up, I noticed that it looked different. The roll seemed more disorganized and there looked to be fewer pieces of fish. Husband had this one and said it tasted cheaper in quality overall. For the price, we may still get it occasionally if we are really craving cheap sushi, but the now lower quality and taste in their sushi may no longer justify buying it here as often. read more

Maybe my taste has expanded or it was the move but I don't really care for the rolls here anymore. They were falling apart and not as flavorful as I remembered. There was too much rice, rice overwhelmed both rolls. I loved this place in S Mart but I don't think it's worth the drive. The prices are reasonable but not as reasonable as previously which is understandable. The service was friendly and the rolls came out quickly. I wish they were as good as I remembered them to be. This was our fourth or fifth time getting sushi from here and each time we have been very happy with their rolls. Twice we have ordered their 12 roll tray for parties and would not hesitate to order from them again. Yesterday we ordered the 6 roll tray (4 people) for New Years Eve. It was ready on time time and everything was delicious. The one thing you must remember when you come to pick up your order is that they do not take cards as payment. I have been to eat at Sushi N Go at Imperial Highway in Norwalk three times. Each time was a great example as a grab and go where I did sit in and eat there but the good service was so fast that there was really no fuss. The genius behind it is that for less than twenty dollars each you can have any number of fresh and tasty rolls. You can have a lot of choices of rolls for less than fifteen dollars! And they are all so good. This place from me to you is highly recommended. The ambiance can be casual, but the taste is top-notch noshing. read more
