The customer service was disappointing. No one explained the difference between a hot poke and a regular poke, so I ended up ordering without knowing what to expect. On top of that, the bowl was mostly rice. It honestly looked like there was a pound of rice, while the chicken, avocado, cucumber, and corn were very limited. A poke bowl should have a much better balance of ingredients. For this type of bowl, I'd honestly rather get the rice bowl from Jack in the Box. It has better flavor, a better balance of ingredients, and offers much better value for the money. Overall, the experience was not worth the price. From the start, the ambiance was off. Awkward silence and the two employees had frowns on their faces. Both were moving at a slow pace. The lady serving us (Crystal) did not tell us that chicken was not apart of the pokebowl and that it was a separate order AFTER she made the bowl. Then once she got the chicken, and checked us out, then she told us it was MORE expensive to order the poke bowl than a normal chicken bowl. I was served by Hailey - she was patient with me, as I was ordering 4 large poke bowls all very different. She was friendly and knowledgeable, recommending different sauce. I liked how she really took her time with me and didn't make me feel rushed, even though 3 other customers walked in. The portions wow! Super generous, and they had so many sides like edamame, sea weed, crispy onion - they were very stocked up and the food was all fresh. A large bowl, which for me will last 2 meals was approximately $20. The store was clean and organized. The only minor critic I have is that today in Cali it's like 93 degrees and it was kind of warm inside. I felt bad for the workers that the AC wasn't blasting. Located in the AMC complex, it's a good spot for a quick dinner before a movie. We shared a large poke bowl and a side of boneless wings. Poke co has some great potential id like to start with saying that the service was great the young lady in the front who helped me was very helpful and polite yet i couldn't help but notice that it was very hot i had to eat in my car on my lunch because it felt just as hot inside the restaurant as outside maybe even worse which is a big concern for a restaurant that is based on raw fish i really hope i dont get food poisoning or food borne illness other then that decent but felt nickel and dimed by no ac poke is better then chicken hot bowls for sure read more

This place has always been my #1 poke spot just for the poke. This was the first time I tried something different on the menu and this will be the last. The fries were good but when I bit into one of the wings I was suspicious because it wasn't crispy or anything. It was chewy yet I didn't pay attention to it, I look down and see its still pink. Maybe it was because I came an hour before closing but there were 3 other people behind me in line and I wouldn't have minded waiting long for these wings as long as they were cooked throughly. We've been coming now for a few years, and it's still just as good. The fish is fresh, I love that I can customize my bowl (think subway or chipotle). The spicy mayo is the right amount of spicy! the service is consistent, new faces but they are friendly. There's plenty of tables to sit and eat especially great before a movie! Parking can be tricky if you don't know the area, I like to come around the back there's some signs for restaurant parking. The only positive attribute is the friendly & quick service the staff who created my poke bowl provided. Oh almost forgot, it was also a substantial amount (portion) for a large $20 poke bowl. But how does it taste? Firstly, the base, the brown rice ruined the entire experience because it was so hard. Perhaps it was not cooked well--I mean there's "Al dente" and there's inedible. I was so looking forward to enjoying the poke bowl. Then, the protein, I had a choice of 5: reg. tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, & 2 others I could not remember, all of which did not taste fresh. I made the mistake of not tasting the brown rice before I mixed the bowl, so maybe I could've just picked off the rest of the ingredients. Even the sauce, spicy Mayo, & some other brown sauce I could not remember-it was blah & bland tasting. All in all, after a few bites, I decided it a $20 waste of money & down the trash it went. Honestly for it being 17 bucks for a medium poke bowl on UberEats, the price is quite expensive for what you get. I understand that UberEats inflates their prices, but it was much more inflated than other comparable poke places nearby. The flavor was good, but just too expensive and with a lack of variety in toppings too. The scoops were also small. I did appreciate the first scoops of avocado and crab being free though! One note: I love spicy foods, but the spicy tuna and spicy Mayo are much more spicy than usual poke places. I loved it, but be warned if you can't take spice well! read more

I always order a small bowl which is more than enough for me. You pick your size bowl and then the base (white rice, brown rice or greens). I got white rice. Then you pick your proteins and add ins and sauces. They have wings as well and had a wing deal, 5 wings with any size bowl. I'm giving this a 4 because the wings tend to take long. The service is usually pretty good and the young people that work there are friendly and helpful. Usually the ladies there and Jessy are great but I had a young Asian guy today and it was just very poor customer service. I get in to order 10 wings since they're so good. He puts in my order and then he comes out and tells me it's canceled.
