I absolutely love Sushi Sake. Unfortunately I've been visiting different locations and they have been disappointing me with the fried rice. Not this location! The fried rice was soooo amazing! I ordered the fried for two. My first time trying this exact one, and I was not let down at all. The fried egg on top made it a 10/10. I also ordered the Miami Heat Roll (one of my favorites) unfortunately the tempura crumbs on top gave it a really funny taste. I did not like it. I also ordered the Volcano roll and the Bagel.... (something roll) can't remember the name by they were super delicious. Other than the Miami heat roll, I had a really good experience and plan on returning in the future! read more

I ordered pick up when this horrible service and experience occurred. I have ordered here before.. This last time a suspicious employee asks for my card info on the phone which was already weird since I always pay when I get there. Anyway she proceeds to give me attitude after refusing to give a 20% tip on a pick order. It gets better. That was the last time my card was used until this employee splurged on my card all weekend and even ordered over $80 of food from this place. So a manager was spoken to but honestly, I'll never go back because it has been enough time for them to reach back out to apologize for this. read more

Food is pretty good here. No customizations are allowed on their fried rice. They said no to my request to remove onions. I didn't take it too hard. Maybe it's premade at the start of the day and that's why? Who knows. What blew me away were the Adult Swim drinks. They came in these adorable novelty glasses from tv shows. So cute! They do require you to turn in your ID when you order these drinks. Apparently people tend to steal these exotic tiki cups. I hope they get a Mr. Meseeks. Let's start by saying that this place is overpriced and some of the staff has no business in hospitality. We went there on 1/22/22 at 5:18pm and that will be the last time. I was excited to see a Sushi Sake so close to me. Ordered via DoorDash and food arrived quickly. I started with the crispy gyoza and the Shrimp Tempura Handroll. Gyoza were nicely fried and not oily. Dipping sauce was savory and slightly sweet. Shrimp Tempura handroll was very fresh and generously filled. The shrimp was nice and crispy and the shrimp was juicy, and there was also a whole stick of Krab. Generous amount of Masago and a wedge of ripe avocado made for a very flavorful bite with just enough rice to balance everything. The last dish, Special Fried Rice was such bad quality, it was like they got it from a different restaurant. The protein (shrimp, chicken, steak) were burned to the point of charcoal on one side. It even left burnt flavor and black chunks in the rice. It arrived piping hot, but they took it too far when they chose to serve charcoal instead of food. I tried picking out the burnt parts but being that fried rice is a wok-tossed dish, it proved a daunting and pointless feat. Everything was flavored like carbon. My first time eating here. The decor and ambience is really nice. Everything I ordered came out timely and fresh. What I believe to be the manager came to my table a few times to make sure everything was good and even answered some of my questions and was very playful, giving me some suggestions for dessert. I ordered the margaret roll, the soup and salad and at the end by the manager suggestion I had a horchatas martini which was delicious , I also paired it with the Thai donuts that I couldn't finish but everything was delicious! I've always loved Sushi Sake and am so pleased with this new location! I LOVE their bar area and their bartender. She'll make you the best drinks (even off the menu). My boyfriend and I went during the week for date night. We ordered 2 soups, 2 sushi's, a chicken fried rice and drinks. Everything came out in a timely manner and our waiter was very helpful when we were trying to pick the sushi. We got the Kendall roll and Dragon roll, of which I highly recommend both! My husband and I love sushi but coming to this particular location made it all the more worthwhile. From the entrance to the table, we found the hostess to be very friendly and welcoming. Then our experience sitting and ordering was also a great experience as a friendly server came and grabbed our order right away. The manager really is the MVP in this as he was in the fore-front greeting every customer, walking by every table. I would give the ambiance a five, it is very nice and classy. The location is another five. Parking is easy to find. The place is clean and the employees follow social distancing and the CDC guidelines. I told myself, it is perfect. Then comes the food part... I ordered the Land and Sea which is New York strip and scallops cooked Hibachi style. I am soooo disappointed! The food was served a little cold., the scallops were the size of eraserheads and the food is bland. Quality is mediocre at best. The quality of food in the buffet nearby was way better. I am just sad that it is closed due to the pandemic. Other places where the quality of food is superior would be El Floridita and El Rinconcito. I am sure there are a lot more. Definitely not ready for business. The place is aesthetically pleasing but a restaurant should work out all the kinks prior to open their doors. This place is a perfect example. I thought I'd never say this but this place seems overstaffed with people walking around aimlessly. We had 6 different people come to our table asking redundant questions. There's a fine line between good service and obnoxiousness and here it was crossed several times during the evening. Twice we had to say we weren't finished to prevent servers from taking our dish. Note to the manager Johnny, who was very courteous introducing himself, please make sure your waiters don't address the patrons as "bro". We ordered our food and only one third was brought out. About 30 mins later we inquired and were given the dummest excused. I much rather here "the order didn't go through" than "it is taking a little longer to cook". A roll? Seriously?. After another 10/15 mins another third came out. And finally a few mins later the final third came out wrong. So we cancelled it and asked for the check. We were obviously not the only ones with issues. Every table within our sight was being apologized to at one point or another. One of them had 4 staff members at once addressing an issue. While not required or necessary, as a manager I would offer an apologetic token of appreciation to a disappointed patron. Even a 10% off their next visit's bill, or dessert, or even a free coffee. We received absolutely nothing. NOTHING! Nothing that can't be solved with some common sense, good management and perhaps a little more training. It's a shame because the food was actually good. AMAZING!! I truly have to say they go above and beyond. Have always enjoyed this place for its great happy hour but this visit took it over the top. Unable to eat gluten and this cuisine being at the top of the "do not " list and soy sauce the biggest no no. Ricardo, our server tried modifying the menu but if that wasn't enough the GM stepped out during a busy moment and purchased GL soy sauce making everything on the menu readily available to me.
