please ignore the bad reviews, this place is absolutely wonderful and the food is delicious. about 2 days ago i had the combo teriyaki beef with the miso, tempura, and edamame and it was one of the most delicious meals i have had up to date, it tasted so amazing like a good homemade meal, it was so good that i was actually in a good mood for the rest of my shift after eating that on my lunch break lol! not to mention how kind the people who run it are, i love this place and i look forward to coming more often! read more

Four stars? Really? Three is still generous, unlike their portions. First Teriyaki shop where I spent $15 and walked out still hungry. Portions were small, everything was cut in half. The teriyaki chicken was cut in three pieces, each strip. The Philly roll was not really a Philly roll, I took a pix and zoomed in 10X so you can find the salmon and cream cheese. Yoooo! Bomb sushi for under 5$ a roll. Also its VERY CLEAN and tidy. Is there really more to say?!?! Went today for lunch, they had a lunch special for 8.95$ with all kinds of goodies. I had the California roll (3.50$) a tuna roll (3.50$) and a salmon skin roll (4.25$). All were DELISH and very fresh. This is well kept little no nonsense speedy little sushi gem. Please visit! I'm not a huge fan of Japanese food so when my friend wanted to come here i was a bit hesitant but I'm glad i went! we came here on a weekday and they had a lunch special, not sure if its available on weekends though. it was very fairly priced and food came out quick! I had the chicken teriyaki, got the chicken with rice, 4 pieces of California rolls, and a cup (yes it comes in a cup) of miso soup for around 5 bucks! not a bad deal, it's small inside so seating could be a problem during busy hours but a great place to drop by for lunch if you work in the area. read more

Its always a last minute dinner party, work potluck or quick dinner at home when Sushi Teri saves the day. I must admit, this review is strictly on their take out/pick up, since I haven't had the time to actually sit down in the dining area and eat. I will commend on how awesome the two people team deliver a sushi order in about 20 mins!. very impressive. and so far they haven't let me down yet. The dishes cost me around $30 to $50 depending on what I need and how many mouths I need to feed. The sushi size is decent, tasty and looks presentable. People have told me how yummy it is, and ask me where the heck I got it. Lol. KNOW before you GO: For the pick up orders, be sure to call ahead. They do get busy around dinner (5pm-6pm) and especially on the weekends. OverALL: Simple. I love this place for lunch. it's not super fast at peak hour, and it is remarkably tiny, closet sized, but they have a friendly staff and the food is pretty good. And the size is generous (lunch special $5.99 will get you plate of food i.e. chicken teriyaki with rice, mixed tempura items, edamame, and miso soup or drink). I'm pretty sure you can add a cali roll for a buck or two said the sign to the left. the rest of the menu is also reasonably priced, but I don't usually stray too far away from the #1 but for the record, and the reason I always keep coming back, they have the BEST miso soup ever!! I mean usually I'm like "meh" but I couldn't stop slurping it up while admiring the surf-themed decor and collection of board wax for sale. it's not always super fast but I don't think you'll be disappointed... really worth a try if you're in the mood for this. read more

I yelped nearby 'sushi' after a meeting around the area. This place showed up on top five list. Being the adventurous and hungry self, I sped up down the street for a simple sushi lunch. The restaurant was situated at a rather new looking shopping complex. Ample parking. However, I guess I get what I paid for a $7something Rainbow Roll ... 1 piece of thin salmon, 1 piece of thin tuna, and the rest are a combo of thin shrimp and avocado. It was a fast service. The place is kinda small. I'm guessing most people order their food for to go. Regardless, not too bad for a fast sushi lunch before heading home. read more

At first glance its obvious to see that it's super small and not your traditional sushi bar style joint. In fact, there's no bar at all. Menu seems to have a variety of food choices from sushi to rolls to combinations to bowls and even curry. As for their food... I got the Aloha Roll (CA roll topped with tuna and avocado) - This was ok, just your typical with tuna. No sauce, no wow factor. Burrito Roll (Salmon, spicy tuna, ) - To be honest. I expected a little more from this. Stuffed with crabmeat, spicy tuna, salmon, cucumber, and avocado wrapped in soypaper and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo sauce. And finally the Chicken Teriyaki combo - chicken was nice and tender and also came with spicy tuna roll. Nothing much to comment on. Total spent with a drink was $29. Overall, this place didn't send fireworks all over the place nor did it leave an impression. I wouldn't go out of the way to eat here, but would make a second choice to stop by when in the area and craving sushi. read more

I literally won't go to any other sushi place! This place is AMAZING! The food is always tasty and filling. Love that they are family owned and they treat each costumer with care. I have gone do many times that they already knew my order and always added my extra spicy mayo without me asking! Delicious sushi for a reasonable price. This place is a true gem, a small mom and pop operation that doesn't charge you an arm and a leg. We live in the neighborhood and pick up dinner here all the time (I don't think the wait has ever been more than 20 minutes). We love the gyoza and the ponzu garlic spicy albacore role. I've been going here for years and it is one of my favorite places to get cheap sushi. Definitely one of the most budget friendly sushi places I've ever been to. Is it the best, or highest quality? Not really, but it's fast, convenient, and satisfying enough. The staff is always really nice and the 24 California rolls for $10 is an amazing deal. The only thing I can think of to improve is that most of their specialty rolls aren't on the menu itself. Instead, pictures of them are on taped on the wall around the cashier so it makes ordering online a little difficult. I always have to look through several yelp pictures to see what's available so it's definitely way easier to order in person. But other than that, I still love this place! Just manage your expectations with the price and you should be good to go read more

If your not looking for a whole fancy dining experience but your craving sushi or local Japanese food, this is pretty satisfying! I love their creamy sesame chicken! I always get that, and since i always go there for lunch, I just get their lunch special for $6 that comes with a choice of tempura appetizer (not the greatest) or California roll (get this instead, but it's just okay) edamame, and salad, with a drink. I say if anything, just get the spicy sesame chicken bowl instead but if you like the extra add ons then go for it, it's only $6. You pay for what you get so I say it's a pretty simple place with satisfied food. read more

This is nice. I found it while wandering around the Target Greatland shopping strip. The woman working there greeted us with a nice smile and we took a look at all the specials listed. Even on the weekend there were lunch specials that included drinks, which works on a hot day. I had the Beef curry combo (beef curry, rice, salad and drink). I also ordered a Crunchy Roll (5 pieces). I liked the beef curry because the beef was tender and the curry was tasty. It was not spicy, which is what I prefer with curry. I liked the Crunchy Roll, although I'm not too experienced with what a Crunchy Roll is like, I haven't had many. It was a pleasant lunch. I also found myself full from the lunch, I really didn't start to feel hungry again until after 8pm. read more

Tiny family run establishment with a simple pleasant vibe and friendly service. Sushi rolls are inconsistent, often sloppily made and last visit smaller than my visit mere weeks prior. And prices are okay but definitely not the best value around. Lunch special isn't terrible, but has issues. Portions are very small. Tempura veggies plus a shrimp were a bit limp with grease. Teriyaki chicken was pretty poor, sauce too thin, all sugar, no depth or richness. Though, the Edamame were cooked perfectly. It's not a bad place for a quiet meal alone, with its homey hole in the wall feel, but there's better food and value elsewhere. 2.5 stars. read more

Their lunch special hit the spot! Visited for the first time, greeted by friendly Japanese family owners. Had the spicy chicken over a bed of rice separated by some shredded cabbage, California roll, shrimp and veggie tempura, and miso soup. I like that they serve you with accompanying soy sauce bottle, as well as the tempura dipping sauce. The chicken was satisfyingly spicy breast meat slices, and went well with the lettuce salad with ginger sesame dressing. Nicely balanced meal! Will definitely return. AVOID THIS PLACE Honestly I have no words for this place. I would put zero stars for just the customer service. I ordered an 2 udon with one extra noodle and a California roll. I come back with one less noodle and I drive back to explain to the lady working there that I did not get a noodle. Then she kept saying she did and I was being polite since my grandfather who wanted to eat said it wasn't correct. She kept trying to explain to me the process on how they pack their udon noodles but insisted I was wrong so she told me to go back to show her what I got. My grandfathers work is right across the street so I went back and of course showed it to her but she then said she didn't believe me and told me I was wrong no matter what. She gave me my money back, but said to go somewhere else for business !! Even though all I asked for was an extra noodle since that was what I was missing! What crooks! They don't need my business and I don't need to eat there anyways Customer service is crappy, don't go here.
