Came here for a weekday work lunch and it was a great choice. Parking is easy with a big lot, it wasn't too busy, and the food came out quickly -- perfect for a fast, no-stress lunch break. I live down the street so love walking here on a nice day. You don't see katsu burgers around very often, so that was interesting and definitely caught my eye. This time I went with the mix teriyaki and katsu plate, which was solid and really hit the spot. The katsu was crispy, not greasy, and paired well with the teriyaki. Simple, tasty, and efficient. I'll definitely be back and will probably try one of the katsu burgers next time.

Really enjoyed my meal from here!!! My husband and I ordered: Chicken Katsu Plate, Korean Bulgogi Beef Plate, Spicy Chicken Katsu Burger, Spicy Beef Katsu Burger, and Gyoza The food was delicious! My favorite thing was the chicken katsu with their katsu sauce. The chicken was fried to perfection, insanely crunchy, flavorful, and not too oily! It was honestly some of the best katsu chicken I've had. The breading on it was soooo good. The bulgogi beef was also good and I loved the onions and mushrooms, but I wish they served it with some sambal oelek (or something a little spicy). The burgers were both delicious and SPICY! Really enjoyed both and would totally order again, but preferred the Spicy Beef Katsu Burger more as the beef patty tasted better than the chicken one for a burger format. Gyoza was standard! Overall, GREAT MEAL! Get the chicken katsu!!!! So good!

Finally a spicy chicken is spicy! The chef said that was a complaint and he upped the spice level on the chicken. I am definitely pleased. It hit all the right spots for lunch. The chicken was fresh and cooked well. It satiated the appetite as well as satiating the craving of something spicy and something Asian. Good balance of protein, veggies and carbs. The restaurant is cute and has enough parking and seating to hold several small parties. The restroom though is located behind the cashier which is always odd.

I always past by here to and from work - and I'm glad I stopped by! I got the most popular item (chicken katsu burger) and it was by far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Crispy, with excellent texture. I expected it to be greasy, but it wasn't greasy whatsoever! The owner (Axel) mentioned that they make everything fresh per day and you can definitely feel the love in every bite. Service was quick, and they also gave me a side of chili oil which excellently pairs with the chicken. Pretty fun ambiance as well, modern and lots of space. Will come back again!

Really convenient location, the manager was really charming and easy. And you receive your food really quickly. High-quality and extremely reasonable price. I definite must pass by.

Only regret: why haven't I stopped in sooner. I'll admit I have avoided having teriyaki for a long time since I ate it frequently during lunch years ago. Now that I'm trying to find good places, I'm so happy I tried this one. It's down the street from my home, plenty of parking and cute atmosphere. Staff is nice and the food is made to order so don't go in rushing. Tried the salmon teriyaki and bulgogi, both delicious. Will be back for the burger soon.

DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE. I came here after reading the good reviews and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!!! I came to the window to order and the sweetest guy Axel helped me out. He recommended the katsu burger and was so kind to make my order fresh with a lettuce wrap, as requested. The chicken was hearty, the fries were crispy, and the spicy mayo was to die for. If you like fresh, affordable food, good music, and excellent service in a clean setting, please stop by. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items!!! :)

So this the spot we decided to go to for some lunch in Costa Mesa! I ordered the Katsu/Beef Teriyaki plate and Axel was the guy that helped us. The restaurant looked super clean and the food only took about 6 mins to arrive! The Katsu was very tender and the beef teriyaki was also cooked perfectly. I do wish I got a bigger portion of the rice and a little more meat but overall, solid. Axel also gave us a piece of flan that's not on the menu to try which was nice! Be back in the future for sure!

If you're in the mood for some chicken katsu, this place is a good option. The plates were good but stick with the katsu, I ordered the beef bulgogi which was fatty but Joel's katsu was great. The shrimp tempura was also pretty tasty. Next time we will try the katsu burger and fries. The staff here were so friendly and helpful!

Have we tried other places? Of course - and always regretted doing so lol - now it's just Eat's Sushi every time! I attached 3 photos from this particular visit on Friday night, 5.22.26, and wrote a short blurb for each photo to explain why Eat's is hands down, the best place and usually the place of choice we go to at least 3x a month! They are always busy and that never bothers us because everyone else knows this is the place to go for fresh fish, amazing service, and friendly staff! We have figured out how to join their wait list without waiting their usual 30-60+ min wait. Even if we have to wait, we will. It's worth it every time! On this particular visit, Leo sat us down and Evelyn was our server. All of them are wonderful and these two elevated our visit yet once again! It is the main reason I wanted to post this because they deserve accolades. Leo already had our usual "hot water" order waiting for us at the table and Evelyn is always patient with us when we place several small orders because we like to keep the fish fresh. It's called "tsuika de onegaishimasu" if you care to know haha . The owner was also there that evening, and we witnessed him supporting his team quietly and gratefully by helping collect empty dishes off occupied tables to take them to the kitchen himself. His humble leadership explains why Eat's is on point with their customer service ! Price is extremely reasonable, quality is exceptional, and for us, we love the cozy ambiance! See you next week, Eat's Sushi!

Spicy miso ramen: 9/10 Actually one of the better ramens I've had lately. The broth is creamier and isn't overpowering with chicken/beef flavor. The chashu was nice and tender as well. I really liked that their noodles were al dente and not too soft Deluxe mazemen: 8/10 Taking my first bite, I was instantly greeted with an explosion of umami. There's a LOT of flavor packed in this bowl and the noodles used are actually a bit thicker which is right up my alley. As for the Mazemen, we ordered the Deluxe and Veggie one, both is a 5/5. Very flavorful and it tastes just like ramen, but without the soup. The presentation of the dish looks like a work of art. You won't find your typical rainbow rolls at this restaurant (I do love a good rainbow roll though). The rolls we ordered were the Snowflake (which was flavored with yuzu), the Lobster roll (which was so much more than a typical baked lobster/langostino roll), and the Are You Kidding Me roll, which was big on truffle flavor and came topped with fried onions. I thoroughly enjoyed the Snowflake roll. It had multiple types of fish inside, and the yuzu flavor added the perfect fresh citrusy touch. It also came dotted with a tiny bit of sriracha (or some other spice) but it was just a hint and it's easy to wipe off if you don't want any spice. The Lobster roll was the star of the show. I give it a 10/10 for presentation, and it was also the best tasting one in my opinion. It was plated with a shelled lobster tail, which looks visually pleasing, but the most impressive part was right before serving, the waitress lit it on fire and handed it to us, as if it were flaming creme brulee or something. The flame actually wasn't on the roll itself, but was on what appeared to be a trail of salt (presumably soaked in some kind of alcohol to make it burn). It definitely was a cool effect and I've never seen anything like it in a sushi restaurant! Lastly, the Are You Kidding Me roll - this was my third favorite out of the three we ordered. It was pretty good but I think the truffle flavor was a bit strong. I'm also personally not a huge fan of fried onions on top of sushi since I think it clashes a bit with the freshness of the fish, and gives me too many bar food vibes. But it certainly was flavorful and my husband and I still finished it. We shared these three sushi rolls between the two of us and it was just the right amount of food to leave feeling full. Besides the food, the restaurant itself was nice although I'm not sure they really needed to have a live DJ there as opposed to having a Spotify Playlist. Didn't bother me but I don't think it really added much to the vibe. I would definitely eat here again!

But the flavors of the dishes eased my fear. It was delicious. I love salmon and uni when it comes to sushi and I would recommend others to try this place! Several people already saw my instagram post and asked the name of the restaurant! I'm very happy that the food turned out phenomenal! Toyko nacho (recommend) : it was messy to eat and had a kick of spice. I didn't mind the mess though. Lots of different flavors. Uni hotate yuzu: scallops topped with uni. Eating it was like butter. Sour flavor profile from the yuzu. A bit overpowering. And the maldon sea salt was interesting. So you get the texture of buttery soft from the scallop and uni and a crunch factor from the salt. 5pc Salmon nigiri: so fatty and buttery! If you love salmon then definitely get this. The presentation was so cute. It lays on a bed of ice. And throughout the dinner the pieces of salmon were chilled. Monster nigiri (recommend) : I don't think anything about this when my honey suggested order this. But once it got to the table and we ate it. Wow! This dish flavors stood out to me. The crispy sweet onions and sauce perfected the meal. Dragon: It was pretty tasty and decent. I know my honey liked it a lot. He prefers not to eat raw fish, so this was to his liking (I recommend to those who don't eat raw fish). Truffle essence (recommend) : The taste of truffle is weirdly addicting. The presentation was eye catching because the candle is keeping the truffle butter warm. The concept of dipping or pouring the truffle butter onto the roll was a fun way of eating. Snowflake roll: A lot of reviews mentioned this was a popular dish. I can see why it was popular. It's literally a bunch of fish in a roll! Haha, fish lover this would be perfect to order. Crunchy roll: It was a decent roll, but a bit dryer than I expected. Orders and ratings: Tokyo nacho 9/10. Uni hotate yuzu 10/10. 5pc Salmon nigiri 10/10. Monster 11/10. Dragon 8/10. Truffle essence 9/10. Snowflake roll 10/10. Crunchy roll 6/10. Thank you!
