I went to this restaurant for my son's birthday last week. It was our first visit. First, interior was nice and cozy. Second, staffs were friendly. And the last, food was fresh, delicious and came out fast. We ordered all you can eat C and the portions were not small. We came in for the first time on 08/13/25. Wish we would have gone sooner because we came here based off the old menu options (just realized there was an updated menu back in July.‍) and really wanted to try some of the items on that menu but unfortunately, Tsunami Sushi doesn't offer them anymore. Not to worry, their new menu offers other deliciousness. Even with the updated menu, there are still pretty good amount of options to choose from. My fav is the Exotic Salmon Roll. The sauce was different to me but was so tasty. Definitely will be getting this roll again. Next time I'll get a pic of the full roll. It was that good. All of the nigiri that we ordered were fresh and so good. Their Corn cheese was the best we've had. The cheese to corn ration was perfect. These were the only pics I was able to snag. The service was GREAT too. Our server came over a few times to check on us. Don't forget desert. Their Matcha & Red Bean ice cream was delish! We also tried their mochi ice cream. This place was incredible. We got the AYCE Option A which had a large variety of foods to choose from for a great price. I got the 49er roll which is my favorite roll I order at other restaurants all the time. This place hit the flavor profiles of a lemon salmon roll to a TEE. I am so happy this place exists. We will be back MONTHLY. (I made my fiancé promise me lol). This place beautiful inside. Very clean and the service is great. I love that our waitress gave us her recommendations and got our orders to us as quickly as she could! We had 4 people at our table and she made sure to tell the kitchen to make sure they make enough for each of us, since some of the items only came with 3 pieces. I forgot her name but she was great! So my wife and I went for a little late lunch to this new establishment Sushi Tsunami in Fairfield formerly Momos. Nice renovation on the inside but photos can be very deceiving until you get inside, otherwise "eh nice"...im being generous. I always do the "timing thing" where I see how long it takes for the server to arrive...it took some time before someone came over to ask if we wanted to order but when they actually arrived i had to ask questions about the menu because it seemed like it was just "ALL YOU CAN EAT"...the menu is straight forward but if your there for the 1st time it can be little confusing. Anyways, waitress said they have a Bento Menu. Usually sushi restaurants like that hand you ALL the menus. Anyways, I ordered appetizers chicken karage and garlic edemame. The chicken karage AS advertised/shown on menu has a dipping sauce which I didn't receive. I asked the waitress where's the dipping sauce and she said that the chicken was well seasoned and does NOT come with dipping sauce (false advertising)...chicken karage was BLAND and overcooked and the garlic edemame was swimming in garlic butter which squirted butter juice while eating. I also ordered from the Bento menu 3 items and my wife had 3 item also. My bento order: Teriyaki beef - was bland, Gyoza - No dipping sauce, Spicy tuna roll - unraveled, Rice - small scoop , Salad - hardly had dressing and I'm suppose to have miso soup also but I never got the miso! My wifes bento order was bland also !!! She had the Shrimp tempura - 1pc skinny pc shrimp...idk Haven't tried the big rolls or anything else. I had one of the worst dining experiences in a long time. We went to the restaurant expecting a good meal, but ended up waiting over 30 minutes just to be acknowledged, even though there were empty tables and staff clearly walking around without much organization. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of respect for the customers. No one came to give us any explanation, and when we asked if we could be seated or served, we were either ignored or told to "wait a little longer." Meanwhile, other people were being helped while we were left standing there with no reason given. We eventually left without eating anything -- just with the certainty that we won't be coming back. A restaurant that treats its customers this way clearly doesn't value them. I do not recommend this place. read more

We were seated fairly quickly but took awhile for someone to take our order, once we got our first order we never got checked up on again, not even to refill our water. Soft opening- awesome service , excellent choice in sushi selection from Tonkatsu to Unagi and everything in between. Menu choices took a minute to figure out as menu is color coded for better service. Met the owner , beautiful establishment nice decor . Came here twice, a day after their opening and last night. The first bite of my nigiri was SOO YUMMY! It tasted very fresh, loved the flavors. I really like the low lighting kind of setting they have as well and the service is really good, they make sure to check on you and make sure you're doing good and to see how they can improve. I could tell they were a little more prepared the second time, even as we came close to closing! Compared to other ayce places the portions for the rolls are way better and for the price. Highly satisfied with everything I got (some not pictured) and definitely recommend trying. read more

I often eat at this restaurant with my friends. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh. They offer a variety of dishes, including Korean cuisine. The prices seem fair for the menu options. I enjoy the sashimi, but I particularly like their cooked and grilled sea food. read more

The service was horrible. I ordered 3 simple things from the menu. Then ordered 3 more items. The last 3 simple items took 35 minutes to get? I was NOT a happy guy. Prices: 3 tiers. $30, $40 and $50 for AYCE. You don't get ANY nigiri selections at $30. Sucks. IF you just go alacarte you will go broke! i will continue to trek to Vacaville for Fuji Sushi Buffet. Although not pretty inside as ST was, you get far more value, selection AND fish! I really wish I could have raved about this place. If nigiri was included at the $30 tier, I'd stay with them. Food was absolutely delicious! Only issue I had was I asked for cheesecake and they brought out the tiniest slice. And I went to cut it and realized it was frozen. When I went to ask about it they said they kept it frozen and didn't have any fresh. I said that was ok but it doesn't state that on the menu. read more

But the tips that are shown on the receipt are showing the tax and your food + what ever percent is on the receipt to show you what tip you could use, rather than the cost of the phone + the percent of the tip + what ever the tax was. In short they're counting the tax in your tipping. So if it was $90+$8 in tax it would be $98 and then they should you would 17% in tip is. Rather what 17% is on $90. Then +$8 in tax read more

For an AYCE sushi & other appetizers the quality of fish in this place is amazing. Staff are very cordial and attentive. Bring a big appetite when coming here. Disappointed. Visited this place when it 1st opened and it was pretty good!... since then, every time I visit, I notice how quickly it's deteriorating. They even changed the menu, moved/removed and even changed some of the items colors; they also removed sashimi all together. Forcing you to eat rice; the quality of the fish is no longer there, stringy, and tough; The slices of fish are way thinner and dry because they have them precut looking like fish jerky. My experience with a to go order was very disappointing. I called in an order over the phone on a Thursday evening and the first red flag was the employee was hesitating with taking my order. After a long pause he finally asked what I wanted. I ordered 2 rolls & the seafood pancake, thinking it would be more than enough food. I didn't look at the food before going home because I didn't expect to be skimped out since so many people were raving about this place on Yelp. For such the price of the seafood pancake & rolls, I was expecting normal serving sizes, but to my disappointment I got mediocre kid servings that only tasted ok. The seafood pancake was literally the size of street taco tortilla that only had 1-2 pieces of squid maybe. The rolls were so small, I quickly ate 1 before taking a pic.
