Me and my girlfriend LOVE exploring new places and we love sushi so we decided to give this place a shot. At first glance, the location is stunning. The inside is very nice. We went around 7pm. There is not all you can eat. Yes you can do combos and it acts like all you can eat however we didn't see how different it would be compared to us just getting a la cart. With the combos you can't choose the rolls. It's chefs choice and you don't get that much either and for $70 we didn't think it was worth it. We got the soup to start with along with gyoza and ordered a total of 4 rolls, 2 each and some nigiri. The sushi itself wasn't anything special and we ordered some interesting ones so we were shocked there wasn't a pizazz factor with them. The service was really good, very kind. I just don't think this would be our to go spot when craving good sushi. Our favorite roll however was the no rice roll, we could taste more of the fish and it was overall a fresh roll. read more

Upon returning since before the New Year we noted service not that good, they do not dim the lights after 8 as they used to do, there was no AC and each table had like a fresh rose and flowers which made the place smell like a flower shop which can be overpowering esp if one has allergies. You can't sit at the area by the sushi makers because it's not made or laid out thoughtfully. The area where they make sushi is way too high so you can't see what they making ( which is usually a cool thing to do, cool experience). Plus they had all these soda and different beverage items displaying the bar ( as if for sale ) but it really was code for " do not sit here by the sushi makers." Wasted space right there. The cool vibe is fading there plus they wimped out and the new hours are until 10 pm and not midnight. Not rushing back anytime soon, going down hill..... read more

I really don't understand how this place has gotten so many good reviews. We are from out of town and felt like sushi so we stopped here for lunch. We got their lunch special with two rolls. It seemed like it was a good deal, but then they charged an extra six dollars because we got the "premium" rolls. On the menu they did not state this extra charge on their lunch special area. They stated this below their happy hour section. The menu is very misleading. We would have been fine with everything if the food was OK. The rolls that we got were practically an inedible . The fish tasted like it was a week old and rice was very dry. I don't like to return food once we ordered it so I tried to eat it, but it could only finish half and regretted it. Just hope we don't get sick. read more

Ventured to this cute, trendy, decorative restaurant tonight. The server Irene was very attentive to our needs and was constantly checking in on us. We so happened to stumble on reverse happy hour (half off select rolls from 6 pm to close every day). We tried out the WTH cocktail and the Lovebug cocktail (my favorite!). The seaweed salad was a generous portion. The Craw me Daddy roll and the Exboyfriend rolls were really delicious but you can't go wrong with any of the choices! Finally got to try this place out on a Sunday night. I'm pretty picky with my 5 stars, but could not find a fault in this experience we had today. Our waitress Irene was very nice and accommodating and provided perfect service. We tried 5 sushi dishes and all were delicious. Wife tried two cocktails which were on the sweeter side in my opinion but still good. Good vibes too with that music selection as well. Sushi vibe closes on Sundays so I think I've found a great spot as a backup (or first choice). read more

We went here over the weekend for a friend's birthday dinner!! An I was so surprised, the food was delicious, I wish I had ordered more!! (We were planning to head to another bar after) - The drinks are made so beautifully!! An our server was such a sweetheart, she was so helpful and was very accommodating when it came to asking about anything on the menu! An did I mention the inside of the restaurant?! Hidden gem! The fish quality here rivals most places in the valley, with a lower price point giving great value. The Hamachi Kama is best in Phoenix, with a huge portion and cooked appropriately to hold the delicate flavor with just a little char. We ordered tuna tataki and a few rolls. The tuna tataki arrived and looked like it had been sitting somewhere for a while. Even that appearance was no preparation for the disgusting and spoiled taste. My wife actually spit it out and we were both worried about food poisoning. The rolls finally arrived after 20 plus minutes (maybe one or two other tables dining when we arrived). The salad was Ok and the service was very attentive. Will never return. read more

We have been wanting to try this newer sushi spot. We came in on a Thursday night at six and there was tons of seating available. It has a nice decor. Fun vibe. First thing we noticed was that the prices are a little high. Some rolls were $20. But it's in a more expensive area. The sushi was fresh and tasted delicious. We loved the Picasso roll and the sunshine roll. Service was very friendly but not very attentive. Our waters were empty most of the time and they never really checked on us. But overall great experience. Everyone was very friendly. And the food was delicious. read more

This one is a recreation of a train traveling through changing scenery. This trip was 1925 Manhattan including the old For Model T trains that are showing on the screens that act as windows outside the train car moving by as if you were traveling including the sounds of the engine and whistle. The drinks are very creative. As I have been staying away from Alcohol lately, the even had Non Alcohol drinks like my Son of a Beecher made with Dutch East India Trading Spiced Gin, Cynar, Yuzu, Ginger, Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemon, Sanpellegrino Prickly Pear zero abv. It was a fantastic drink that you could enjoy slowly as my other 3 guest were thrilled with their Adult beverages. My Associate which is a Bourbon Old Fashion. You get a glass with a large cube but empty. Shortly after an "Associate" comes by and takes a container out of their pocket to provide the banned alcohol of prohibition era. This theater creates a lot of fun. Another is the Paparazzi which is complete with an old fashion bulb camera going off as they appear to be taking a star's picture. The menu changes periodically as does the accompanying theater but it is a very intimate environment and a very clever spot for a date or just getting together with come friends for a different experience. It is reservation only and you get a limited amount of time but our 90 minutes flew by and was time for 3 drinks (and maybe some ice cream). Our previous trip was a winter in CO scenery. The service, atmosphere and creativity makes this a great experience.

I got the Pyro Cheeseburger, she got the Sweet Potato Hash, and we got the Ube Panna Cotta for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a great time here. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely consider booking your next table here and you will not regret it!

I was looking for a sushi spot open on Sunday and close to an event I was attending, so I decided to try Sushi 32. Unfortunately, I should have taken the dirty windows and the outdated decor--complete with fake cherry blossoms taped to the ceiling--as warning signs. The place felt neglected and uninviting. I usually don't write reviews after just one visit, but my experience here was disappointing enough to warrant it. The service was painfully slow; it seemed like there was only one server for the five tables in the restaurant, along with just one sushi chef and what appeared to be a dishwasher/food prepper in the back. The $20 (seemed a bit overpriced) baked roll was a letdown--dry and poorly constructed, it fell apart before I could enjoy it. The spider roll was equally disappointing; it felt like they skimped on the soft shell crab, as I could only see the claws on the first piece and not throughout the roll. With time constraints and the lack of check-ins from the server, we ended up rushing through our meal. I only got to express my dissatisfaction when the server dropped the check. Overall, the quality of the food and the service were both lacking. I cannot recommend this place. read more

We got to sit in the back "tatami room" and it was super pretty with the cherry blossoms on the ceiling! We were served by Vi who made us feel comfortable and like we were friends. I loved the music they were playing and the whole vibe was nice. The sushi was super good, and the drinks were amazing (which Vi made as bartender that night too). When we had one problem with a drink she took it immediately to fix it and made sure to check on us multiple times. Not to mention the price is good for pretty good sushi! The fish quality is great. The one star is because of the pricing in general, and hidden fees when ordering online. When you are offensively priced to begin with, then charge an undisclosed 10% fee just for the privilege of picking up the food (it is in addition to their requested tip, and is in super tiny print way below the listed pricing of your order so that you are less likely to notice), that just seems gross. Maybe this is why the place always looks empty. Great location, great product, offensive pricing and scam-like "fees". read more

New customer and will be a returning customer. Service was great...Shaun was very knowledgeable and quite helpful, his recommendations were very good. The sushi was very fresh and prepared nicely. Totally recommend the Salmon Skin Roll, Ex Boyfriend and Alaska Roll. For sure make this a stop for a great evening. The ambiance was relaxing and didnt feel rushed. Looked like it would be a great way to spend a Friday or Saturday night meeting with friends. They also have some great happy hour prices as well as reverse happy hour. read more

Sushi 32 delivers a fantastic dining experience with top-notch sushi. The fish is super fresh, and the presentation is beautiful. The modern atmosphere and attentive staff enhance the experience. Decided to stop by and try it since I always go by it. I definitely just found my go to sushi spot! The service from Sean was amazing and spot on! He made sure we were taken care of. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful when you first walk in! The employees are very friendly and are always there to accommodate your needs. They offer reverse happy hour which is great! First time coming here, and I'll admit the food was phenomenal! We got noodles, shrimp fried rice, and a couple of rolls. Everything was delicious and did not disappoint. Irene was our server, and she was so sweet! Great attitude and customer service. Will be coming back!! 10/10 read more
