Tempura appetizer included shrimp and vegetables.

There are so many Instagram positive reviews for this restaurant my friends and I drove a few miles away from our usual restaurants to give them a try. We arrived just as they were opening for the day. Seated immediately and didn't take long to place our orders. Three of us went with the Kitchen Combo. One chose pork cutlet entree. Two selected bulgogi entree. Our fourth diner ordered a tempura appetizer. Warm bowls of Miso soup arrived almost immediately. Delicious. The tiny restaurant filled very quickly with diners and a continuous flow of take-out orders. They were busy. Service was attentive throughout. Our food arrived. Bento platters full with crispy tempura veggies, California rolls, one scoop rice, tossed salad, and our entrees. Ginger and wasabi served on the side. - Tempura veg & one slim shrimp was good. - Salad, minimal and mediocre. - Sushi roll was basic. - Pork cutlet was beautifully displayed on a bed of crispy rice noodles. The diner declared it delicious. - My disappointing bulgogi was filled with gristle and connective tissue covered by a pleasantly sweet sauce. The meat was inedible. I could not breakdown the pieces I chewed and mostly removed from my mouth with a napkin. There are other entree choices - salmon, chicken, pork cutlet. This time I chose wrong. We each took home more than half our lunch to enjoy later. I combed thru the bulgogi with the same results and just tossed it. The restaurant is clean, cute, nicely decorated. Excellent service. Lots of free & easy parking. The location is too far out of my way to choose them again. I won't be back.

Rock and roll and a few pieces of Rainbow

We didn't time it right because my daughter had to go to work. Been there before for the viral sushi pizza box. Today we had vegetable tempura and 3 rolls. Rainbow, rock and roll and white house. Probably would have had a better experience if we didn't have to rush. One of the fish on the rain bow was a little d Strong but still good. We couldn't finish the last roll which I think was the White House. Going to give that one to my son. We took it to go.

Called in for a Togo order. We ordered Sweet Angeles Roll, Hot Night Roll and Shrimp Tempura. The order was prompt and she told me it was ready in 10 min. Arrived and ambiance is small and tight. Limited seats. Food was good. Packaged separately.

A better name for Sushiholic should be "Teriyaki N' Sushiholic" because their teriyaki chicken and beef... the sauce is just as amazing as their sushi rolls. Yes who can resist their spicy sliced jalapeño topped Peppered Salmon Roll or their texture paradise "Jessica Roll" that's like a Rainbow Roll but with crunchy tempura inside. I feeling extra crunchy today and enjoyed their Calmari Tempura served with their addictive spicy mayo! The other side of Sushiholic that outshines the creative rolls has to be their teriyaki plates. I can't say which is better, chicken or beef because both are delicious. What's makes a good teriyaki is of course their sauce. It's a great balance of sweet, salty and saucy but not too sticky. The way this spot grills their chicken and beef is just perfect. The beef is tender and not dry at all. That also goes for the grilled chicken. Even if it didn't have the sauce, the teriyaki meats still have flavor. Service is attentive. This is a casual spot for a quick bite to eat that won't hurt your wallet or just need a quick meal on the go! Come check out Sushiholic!

Food was mostly good! Best roll was the amber roll & crispy crab rice, worst was the crispy crab roll (not pictured). Service was okay, one of our rolls was forgotten about so we had to ask to reorder it. Place is very small and limited seating, we came when it was busy but the friend we went with says it's normally quiet. I'd go back but I'd order less food next time

    Chicken Bento Box
    Samantha S.

Came here for the second time in the same week and I'm officially a fan. This little hole-in-the-wall spot gets packed, but it's absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and it was perfect--tender chicken and just the right amount of teriyaki sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Easily one of my favorite go-to Japanese restaurants.

    Soggy, flavorless gyoza
    Shannon M.

After saying I would stop by to try the food for 2 years, I finally did. I'm sad to say that it was not good at all. First, the customer service was lacking. We were not welcomed nor asked if we needed assistance. The overhead menu is very dark and hard to read. The ambiance of the location is drab and dark so we decided to order to go. We tried the gyoza, veggie egg rolls, cucumber salad, water eel roll (not what we originally ordered, she messed up), and 2 pieces of tuna sushi. Every item was watery and disappointing besides the cucumber salad. The rolls were unusually warm and the avocado did not taste very fresh. The veggie egg rolls were very soggy as if they were once frozen, defrosted, and not crisped up all the way through, the gyoza was also wet, fell apart at the touch, and severely lacked flavor. The sushi pieces tasted more like water than fish. Was everything frozen first? The cucumber salad was the only thing that tasted as it should. My family are legit sushi and sashimi lovers and knew from the overall appearance of the order that this wasn't going to go well. I should have canceled the order and left when I saw a pot of seafood in running water in the sink behind the sushi chefs. Was this just a bad day or have they gone down? I won't know because I'm never coming back.

We have passed this restaurant so many times with the realization that there was this little humble…read morerestaurant in a huge plaza, but never quite remembered to go back to try it. Today was the day, as I was craving sushi and remembered it, so in we went. Zero regrets! Ambiance/Service (3/5): We went around 1 PM on a Saturday and it was surprisingly dead in there; we were the only ones who dined in and there was only one customer picking up an order the entire time we were there. However, it didn't feel awkward. There was a TV playing on medium volume and the older Korean owners were really nice and made us feel welcomed. They gave us two bowls of complimentary miso soup (which our toddlers loved). Food came out relatively quickly. It definitely has mom n' pop vibes which I love. Decor was minimal but clean and the restaurant was well maintained. I think the place would make a nice casual dinner date. Food/Value (4/5): We ordered the udon with 4-piece spicy tuna roll combo, the mixed tempura appetizer, a baked salmon roll and a California roll. The total came out to $51.25. Prices are super fair for what you get, especially if you're craving special rolls or want a little of everything (they have so many combos). I'll review our food specifically below: -Udon & spicy tuna combo (3/5): Udon came in a pretty big bowl with udon, fish cake, green onions, and tempura flakes. Udon was nice and chewy, but the soup itself felt like it could use more depth. My husband wasn't a huge fan of the spicy tuna roll; he noted that the flavor wasn't the best, texture was bit different and the roll itself was loosely packed. He said he'd skip the spicy tuna next time. -Mixed Tempura (5/5): This was delicious. It came crispy and hot, with ten pieces total--2 each of pumpkin, potato, zucchini, carrot, and shrimp. The kids loved it and the sauce complimented it well. -Baked salmon roll (4/5): This was tasty, but it left something to be desired. I guess I'm used to heavier baked rolls with more creamy sauce reminiscent of a rice casserole made into a roll. Their rendition is essentially salmon placed on top of a CA roll with a drizzle of some sort of sweet soy sauce, but it was tasty nonetheless. -California roll (5/5): Awesome price and awesome taste. Loved every bite. I would come again just to order multiple of these. They don't skimp on the filling. Overall, I would give this place a 4 because it was a great lunch experience. We live relatively close, so this might be my go-to sushi craving place in the future. Would definitely come again and support this little mom n' pop shop!

Linda was knowledgeable about the menu, gave excellent recommendations, and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back because of the outstanding service she provided!

Went to dinner with my family on a Tuesday evening. Our server was Linda (or at least I believe…read morethat was her name). She seemed friendly at first, but unfortunately our experience quickly went downhill. My husband ordered a ramen dish that never arrived. We waited quite a while, assuming it would be brought out, but no one ever checked in on our table. This seems to match other reviews mentioning a lack of staff awareness and attention to customers. The staff appeared to only come by to take orders and drop off checks. We were even seated near the register, yet no one noticed that an entire meal was missing. When it was time to pay, another employee helped us. We had to point out that the ramen never came and ask for it to be removed from the bill. His response was simply, "Sorry about that, let me take it off. Here's your total." There was no real sense of concern, apology, or effort to make the situation right. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and customer service is what made this experience so disappointing. Staff could benefit from additional customer service training and more awareness of their guests' needs. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

I think I've been converted. I don't think I've really had good authentic katsu before. The chicken lady was light, tender combined with the grounded sesame sauce? It is something you need to try if you have yet to do so. The katsu meal itself ($17.95) with the combo (+$7 which includes either kimchi udon, or soba, Tuna roll) iis big on it's own. Also, the shaved cabbage salad is a great compliment to the meal. I'll be back with the family to check out the other offerings here. One downside, the space is tight, so strollers and wheelchairs won't be a comfy fit. However, there were littles here around 7 pm for dinner. All in all, is highly recommend Yoko Donkatsu.
