The chicken had a very very thick batter, which isn't normally my preference at all, but it was still good and definitely filling. One piece was almost the same size as the waffle! We chose to sit at the bar since it was the first available. The restaurant is on the small/medium side and is pretty simple in terms of ambiance, but no complaints here. Service was friendly. I ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp which was really delicious! Very flavorful and quite generous with portions. I wasn't really feeling traditional brunch food like eggs/pancakes (though they do have that here too), and the noodles really hit the spot. I got an iced butterfly pea latte (lavender / floral flavor) which was alright, nothing to write home about but not terrible. My friend enjoyed the loco moco. Overall, I'm not very familiar with the eats in Pleasant Hill but this was a good place to get brunch. Only real downside is the wait, but I guess all brunch places everywhere are busy on weekend mornings lol.

My personal favorites were the mango sago and the pork adobo. I grabbed a bunch of onigiris to go and we even ordered more food to go. The mango sticky rice drink goes as well as you can expect with sticky rice trying to be sucked through a straw , but nonetheless delicious . By the time I got to the bingsu I barely had room I was so full. Same owners as Yifang, Super nice couple. Everything was clean. We carried my baby's stroller up the stairs when we got there and they told us about the side ramp so we didn't have to carry him out again which was considerate and thoughtful .
