The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully executed without feeling overdone. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to the details, from the beautifully plated entrées to the perfectly cooked eggs and crispy, well-seasoned sides. The fusion elements add just enough creativity while still letting the comfort of brunch shine through. The drinks were equally impressive, especially the specialty lattes and refreshing house beverages that paired perfectly with the meal. It's the kind of place where you'll find yourself eyeing neighboring tables and already planning what to order on your next visit. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even with a busy dining room, the staff kept everything running smoothly and made sure guests felt taken care of.

The service was great too. Nice and prompt, as well as polite. Sadly...the food itself is where it was lacking. The Chicken Skewers were fantastic! Nice and flavorful, as well as filling. Vanilla Ice Cream wasn't anything special, but a nice refreshing sweet treat to end it. Sadly, the Crab Meat Fried Rice came up short. There were packets within it that were very tasty and flavorful, but overall it tasted pretty...plain, for lack of a better word. So plain that I couldn't bring myself to finish it, and didn't want to take it with me afterwards. I got the full entree size instead of the half size, so maybe that had something to do with it. Might go for the half size next time. Overall, willing to comeback in the future and give it another shot in the future, but sadly not blown away this time. Here's hoping the next visit goes better!

We prebooked the set menu. Boy was it a dining experience! From start to finish, every single dish was so deliciously curated. By the end of our meal, our tummies were full and the entire journey from appetizer to dessert was so satisfying. 808 Zone is truly a place that we will plan to revisit for our next special occasion.

The ambiance is a bit similar to a fast casual restaurant than that of a high end course meal and the service aligns with that. Bathrooms are in a bit of a sorry state and chairs are peeling at the edges. Service is a bit clumsy and rushed. No one asks for any food restrictions before the meal and it isn't asked when reservations are being made, so you'll have to actively speak up if you need this addressed. Dishes are only fully explained at the bar, if you sit at the standard tables you'll get a very basic dish explanation. The food is mostly Chinese Japanese fusion and some dishes knock it out of the park, like the chawanmushi which is fused with flavors of Chinese egg drop soup. Some really drop the ball, like the scallion noodles which were soggy and overly greasy, the oil was not properly infused with the green onion and so you just got mushy soggy plain oil flavored noodles. The course lacked consistency. Some dishes were incredible, some average, and some downright bad. There's a lack of consistency in the prep also, there were crab shells in the orange crab dish, there was a bad bitter uni in one of the chawanmushi, etc. I think the ambiance, service, and course doesn't add up to the $150 price tag. There's definitely potential but the lack of effort does affect the overall experience.

I did not…read moreexpect to find such a good Japanese restaurant in a location that is quite far from the center of the food district. Besides the fried rice, the tuna and salmon sashimi are large, fresh, and high quality. Many times when I eat sashimi that is not very clean, it upsets my stomach and makes me want to use the restroom. However, the food here is both clean and fresh, and I had absolutely no discomfort after the meal. I also ordered chawanmushi and stir fried udon, both of which were very well executed. I would give full marks to this restaurant for both its sashimi dishes and main courses. The service is good, the environment is clean, and the dishes are priced normally, perhaps slightly on the higher side, but the value for money is reasonable. The only downside is that parking around this area is quite difficult. Overall, however, I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys omakase and appreciates high quality Japanese cuisine.

Uni and Toro pieces were delicious Hamachi Carpaccio melted in your mouth Probably one of the most flavorful Yaki Onigiri i've had at a Izakaya spot Cons: There are a lot of positive reviews here for the Iku-Uni-Himu dish. We thought it was... odd. Taste is certainly subjective but I would not order this again Top Secret was another highly rated dish and tasted flat Amongst the 10 piece omakase set I'd say 5 were tasty. The rest were ok, and almost all of them required dipping in soy sauce (good omakase generally does not) Mochigo Ebi tasty very heavy and greasy The service felt surprisingly "fast casual" as well. Our dishes came out quickly and the server kept asking us to move stuff around to make space. Don't expect a slower dining experience. All in all, ok spot to try out once to see if it's your cup of tea.

When we walked in the restaurant was practically empty and about 4 workers were standing around waiting behind the counter. We built our own poke bowls and there were many toppings to choose from, most of them free. The regular bowl lets you select 4 types of protein which is generous, but the server uses a scale to measure the weight. Regular poke bowl: The quality of the fish was decent, but lacked flavor, even with the sauces. This is partially my fault, but the amount of toppings on the bowl takes away from the overall taste of the poke bowl. Would prefer a more authentic Hawaiian style poke bowl over this.

If you're someone that likes to taste more of the natural flavors of each ingredient, then perhaps this is for you. The truffle mayo was delicious but only covered so much of the bowl so overall it tasted more like a salad with minimal dressing where the ingredients weren't quite uniting.
