My experience there of recent was unquestionably bad. I had visited this establishment in the past, but had not been there in some time. I had several songs in que on their TouchTunes app, which was interrupted by their prerecorded Saturday night content "which no one wanted to hear" and was told by the manager "too bad", as he began to recount my history there of leaving a rental car I had at the time, running in the parking lot as to imply I was just another one of the incompetent disillusioned drunks that they cater to in their establishment, none of which had anything to do with my asking what happens to the songs I had in que. If you looked to be judged by the ones serving you drinks I confirm this as being the place to go. Myself, I will look to better option all over this city. read more

This pub doesn't seem like much but I've been here for years and I mean like 9 years. It's nothing special but I love their happy hour. I've always had a good time coming here with friends and their food is amazing. Wait staff has changed a bit but no matter who is here it's always been a pleasure. I'll always be back here. Great Service, Good Drinks, Great Prices on the Specials, Full of Smoke (which I hate) How do I pray that Oklahoma or OKC will pass a no smoking law in bars and restaurants like almost everywhere else in the US and the world... That said, this is a great local bar where every single patron has a cigarette and is smoking like a chimney. You will get lung cancer by hanging out here frequently... so you have been warned.... that said the drinks are good, the service is good and the specials are awesome... $1 - $1.50 beers... and half price apps late at night... Dive bar, a bit smoky for me but there was a good mix of friendly people. Loud music and tv's playing various sports. The beer here like most places in Oklahoma is pretty weak, can't go wrong with the cocktails. read more

Great place for drinks, music, fun & food! The Irish Nachos are amazing! The fried pickles are delicious! The beer is cold and the shots are aplenty. Overall I had a great time even with a less than stellar waitress. She seemed to not visit our table nearly as often as some others. You may want to check your tab before you hand over your card. Yesternight, our server had to deal with our fairly large party (16-18 people) by himself, so I get that he was bound to make mistakes so I'm not upset about it, really. I ordered 12 wings (don't judge me with your judging eyes). My brilliant math skills tell me that at 30 cents a wing, the bill comes to... *pulls out calculator* $3.60 (+ tax). My bill shows 6 wings at $1.80, then 1 wing at $0.30 and a carbonated non-alcoholic beverage (which I never ordered) at $1.75. I thought about mentioning something but decided against it because: (a) the guy was frazzled, (b) I did kind of change the order on him so it was partially my fault for confusing him, and (c) it's so miserly to point out that he up-charged me by 25 cents. Really, this is only a problem if you buy drinks or something, and extra (expensive) stuff starts cropping up on your bill. 2. Smoke. Smoke. Smoke. Smoke. Smokesmokesmokesmokesmoke. Rachel S and some friends of ours went on a Sunday night and it wasn't very crowded. I assume because most responsible people don't go out for drinks on a Sunday night when they have work the next morning, but I'm a rebel. It's a bar so regular bar rules apply. Smoking? Of course. Bad music? They have a jukebox so most likely. Noisy? Well it was Sunday and I already told you it was slow so not really. The waitress was friendly enough, coming back every few minutes to check on us and see if we needed more drinks and she seemed to be working the entire place either by herself or with one other person. Despite the slowness that still seems a little unfair, but more tips for her! Strongbows seem to be expensive everywhere. Here they're $6 a bottle. Mustang Washita Wheat was something like $3.24 or some other odd price. All in all, not a bad place if you're just looking for a quick drink, but it doesn't stand out either. read more

I was there Wednesday night for Singo and the waitrees Jamie who ran the Singo was EXTREMELY rude and was a smart ass qnd when I was joking back she took it offensively and tabbed me (threw me out). I'm a huge tipper and have NEVER had a problem at ANY bar in the city and know most of the managers and wait staff. I'm extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. Management lacks simple customer service skills. I spoke to the manager (Laura) about an issue with my food and she was very disrespectful and rude. The other waitresses were apologizing saying that she had some personal issues going on which is why she's acting like that but I don't see how that's my fault when you are in the people business. Henry Hudson's used to be top notch in terms of service. You would see 2 waitresses handling 14 beers each and working the hell out of one side of the bar each. Now, the waitresses can barely handle 3 tables at once, and have zero personality. Last night our waitress had 2 other tables than us, a 4 top and a 6 top, and we were a 2 top. She greeted us, got our app order, then we could not get her back to the table again. My girlfriend had to yell at her to get her food order in, the cook ran out our app AND food, which both times had obviously been sitting in the window for a while, and when I was ready for my check she kept skipping our table when making rounds. I ended up going to the bar where she had been chit chatting most of the time to ask for my check. She said "ok", then went RIGHT BACK TO CHATTING IT UP. At this point I got pissed and spoke to what I assume is the manager now. He said, "Calm down, we'll get you your check.", which was irritating and not how I would have replied during my service manager days. He then watched her for a minute, doing absolutely nothing, and finally asked her to get me my check, which STILL took her another two minutes. Pure ass. I miss what this bar used to be. Head to the one on Hefner Rd. (albeit quite a bit further north) for the service and atmosphere you want. read more
