Sure it's in a strip mall between a liquor store and a gas station, but who cares when the Meekong Curry is this good?! We love the fresh spring rolls, the green papaya salad, the Sweet Basil noodles, stir fry and curries. Service is always friendly, and the space is clean and bright.

I got the Seafood Tom Yum and the Sweet Basil Noodles. The Tom Yum had lots of mushrooms and the broth had this wonderfull LemonGrass flavor The Sweet Basil noodles was a bit like Pad Thai but it had a very fresh basil flavor to it.

Had a great experience here. Food was really good so was service. Got chicken pad thai and kao poon. Both dishes were delicious but the Pad Thai had a little more edge to it. Will definitely return to try more dishes.

Love the chicken peanut sauce. And the egg rolls. Wish they would open on Sundays as well as the rest of the week.

Worst pho I've EVER had and I've had many places. Noodles were very waxy and the broth was flavorless. Never will I go again!!

You will find all of the authentic Vietnamese dishes here. The only Vietnamese dish that they do not have is bun Bo hue. They have everything else. #1 pho in the state. It is not on the sweet side. It is more on the savory oriental spices Vietnamese true oriental spices. If you're looking for a sweet style Pho, stay on the Saint Paul side you will not find that type of pho on the Minneapolis side. You will never find me ordering pho on the Saint Paul side because I do not do sweet pho. For example, there is a Pho Pasteur in St. Paul like the one in Boston but don't be fooled because that place is located in Saint Paul and it is very sweet broth there and it is nothing like the place in Boston. This is the #1 Viet restaurant for the pork chop broken rice plate. You will never find another place of this exceptional quality. That makes better marinated pork. I love love their lemongrass chili oil. It is not drenched in oil like at Chinese places like this is the true Vietnamese style lemongrass chili oil. The line is out the door around the block between 11 AM and 2 PM so you gotta get here early or come after the peak hours

That says a lot considering that the spot that has been at the top of my list on Eat Street has been there for over two decades! I was here for my first visit yesterday and there are three big things about MT Noodles that really impressed me: 1) This place was spic and span clean! Walking in, it looked more like a bright, fresh, corporate lunchroom or college cafeteria space than someone's living room from the old country like so many of the small Vietnamese eateries I have been to in various cities around the US. 2) The staff were very helpful, friendly, and concerned about their guests. There is clearly a high amount of pride in what they are doing in operating this business. They checked on my table several times, and they were clearly concerned about my party enjoying our meals. So much so that they seemed alarmed when I got up to pay the check and there was still food left on the table. They were worried that we did not enjoy it. We had to reassure them that everything was outstanding, but we simply had poor self control and ordered too much. 3) The food was simply awesome! In portion size, cost, variety, and taste. It is easy to find a good bowl of Pho just about anywhere but rare to find authentic Bo La Lat, Bánh xèo, Nem Nuong, or Bun Cha Hanoi as they have here. There are many places that attempt to imitate but really don't succeed. This place nails it. A more authentic Bo La Lat I have not had even in Ho Chi Minh City! 5 stars for that menu rendition alone! There are only a few versions of Pho on the menu, but I can tell you that the soup here was extremely deep, Rich, beefy, and satisfying. It was full of aromatics and good to the last drop! I am really looking forward to a second visit here to surf my way around all the other great sounding menu items!

I've been going to Que Viet since I was a young child like 3-4 years old (which is over 30 years)…read more Crazy as it sounds, growing up I ate a lot more than I do now. I used to love the the potatoes in the beef & potatoes, the meaty eggrolls w/ the fish sauce (I miss these so much as I don't eat beef/pork anymore), oyster wings, the best wontons as well as chicken friend rice. My mom loved the egg fu young. I love that over the years the menu has pretty much stayed the same. I've gotten to see a few generations run the place and things have stayed pretty true to what I always remembered growing up. My go to order now that my diet has shifted is wontons & chicken fried rice - add med. spice and no chicken. I know chicken fried rice with no chicken sounds crazy but I don't like the veggies in the veggie rice and I really love the flavor of the chicken fried rice without the chicken. Reheating the rice at times the chicken tends to get a bit rubbery after being reheated so many times and I just don't like it but the flavor is very solid without still. They have some of the best wontons I've ever had. Slight garlic flavor to balance the sweetness of the cream cheese. if I could I would eat an eggroll.. I miss them so much! I mostly order takeout these days but have also dined in a bunch and the staff are very attentive and nice.

My mouth is literally watering while writing this review…read more The price went up to $11 for 2 but they are absolutely mammoth sized & the best thing you have ever tasted. The sauce they serve with them, HEAVEN SENT (I could drink it, it's that good). Upgrade to the medium size Egg Roll sauce, for sure! Their Cream Cheese Wontons are also huge & so incredibly crunchy. The sweet & sour sauce served with them is DIVINE. We also Love their Pork Fried Rice, Beef Lo Mein and Sweet & Sour Chicken or Pork. If you get anything here for sure, hands down the Egg Rolls are #1 Pick! The restaurant is decorated very cute inside & we love to eat in for lunch or dinner but we mostly order our food to go. They do have lunch specials which is nice. Did I already mention that you should come here and order the Egg Rolls, 100% :)

The decor here is bright, cute and fun! I truly did adore that!! There is also a fair amount of seating here! The service was quick and friendly. It was kind of hard to understand the woman who took our order... she was SO sweet but we definitely had a longer time ordering because we were not understanding one another. The coffee was just... ok. Mine tasted very heavy of chocolate, which was not in the name. The ube also had a strange taste. I love ube, so I'm not sure if they are adding something? My boyfriend got a latte and it was very sweet. Not at all what he was expecting. They have plenty of other drinks, so please don't let this review deter you! This go for us just wasn't it...

We all tried all of the drinks together. Vietnamese coffee: 4/5 Definitely too sweet, good classic rich flavor Brown sugar boba: 3/5 Okay, not something I would usually order anyways but it was too milky yet still very sweet. Happy Tea: 2.5/5 The flavor was good but so sweet that I'm glad I don't get a fruit drink. It was way too much. (To clarify, I like sweet things; it just tasted like I was drinking fruit syrup) The service was great; we had a lot of questions concerning what to get and if there are alternative milks and despite a slight language barrier, they were patient, kind, and incredibly helpful! The ambiance was so cute! Definitely a little overstimulating for some but I absolutely loved the color and hanging decorations everywhere. Overall, I probably would get a viet coffee from here if I was on a pinch and really didn't want to make it at home myself but the drinks are a little too sweet for me. They also do not have alternative milk (which my friend needed for her drink so she couldn't get anything). I would still recommend trying it to someone because it's a small business and the sweetness might be perfect for you!
