Small hole in the wall in Fairfax, definitely worth coming in for. The ambiance is lovely and relaxing. The owner is extremely sweet and the savory crepe was made so fresh. My boyfriend and I had a lovely visit and thoroughly enjoyed both of our crepes together. Perfect date spot from morning to night. I was so overwhelmed by their menu that it was such a hard decision on what to choose since I wanted to try everything! Besides the items on the menu, they also have gelato and frozen yogurt. My family and I came on a pretty busy night so it was packed. There's only one cashier so it makes it really confusing on where the line starts.... do you order your gelato at the counter or at the cashier? do you grab your froyo then have to wait behind the long line of people that just entered the store? It looked like there was only two employees there at the time so I figured my crepe would probably take longer than expected and I opted to get something else instead. Changed - not for the better. The waffles were soggy, the fruit smoothies no longer tasted that had any real fruit in them, must be mostly powder or chemical based now. Love getting Sweet Berry right after Blue Ocean. My go-to are any of the sweet crepes that don't use nuts (sadly allergic) or Hong Kong waffles but it's a great spot for Gelato too if you're feeling simpler. It is the spot to satisfy your sweet tooth if you're in the shopping plaza already or the one right across. While I mainly recommend coming here if you're already nearby for food, it's still a good option if you're only meeting up for crepes and is always a nice way to mix things up, as other dessert spots and especially boba spots oversaturate the market. I talked a bit much about sweet foods but they offer savory crepes as well, which I've had more limited experience with here but have nonetheless enjoyed. The first of the savory crepes that comes to mind is the Chicken Florentine (if I'm recalling it correctly). Parking is plentiful but packed at peak times. Same goes for the seating inside. The inside itself is kept pretty clean. Good overall spot I stop by fairly consistently after a meal in the plaza/area. read more

Great product but they are incredibly stingy. My family of 5 has gone in multiple times and asked for taster cups and they'll only give us 2-3. I've had an obsession with waffles lately, and I am so happy that Sweet Berry is around to feed my growing obsession. I have been to Sweet Berry since it first opened, and I'm glad to see it still around! Their menu is expansive. They have waffles, crepes (sweet and savory), gelsto, froyo, bing soo, and coffee. Froyo is self serve. The girls at the register are sweet and friendly. I came in with my parents last, and they got froyo which was good, nothing too special. I got the strawberry Nutella waffle, and my parents also got the chicken florentine crepe. The waffle and the chicken florentine crepe ended up being the same price, 7.99 which surprised me. It's definitely pricerier than I would have liked. I wouldn't think chicken and strawberries would be the same price. That being said, the waffle was perfectly cooked, and the presentation was beautiful. The chicken florentine crepe was okay, the chicken didn't look too fresh,but then again, this is mainly a dessert place. They do make the waffles and crepes to order, so it takes some time to get out to you. Sweet Berry is located in a shopping center with Trader Joes? Which is convenient. But keep in mind there is only one way to exit the shopping center, so in peak hours it is a pain to get out. But that's not enough to keep me from coming. This is such a cute dessert place! I love how they have so many options for you to choose from. They have froyo, bingsoo (shaved ice), gelato, waffles, and so much more! I got the gelato with waffles. I got one scoop of mint and one scoop of cookie and creme gelato on the waffle. It was tasty! The waffle was freshly made to order and warm which contrasted the ice cold gelato. The worker there was so friendly and eager to help out. incredibly disappointed with this place and i plan on writing to corporate. Due to health ailments, my sister can only eat sorbet at the moment, and sweet berry is her go to place. So that she can get at least 1000 calories in a day (she also takes lipids intravenously to maintain her weight, having been hospitalized 5 times the past month), my mom takes her to get sorbet often. Yesterday, since she cannot eat anything else, my mom went to sweet berry with my sister twice. the first visit went just fine, but the second visit the cashier goes "you have already been here today, why are you back?" she then proceeded to give a disgusted look on her face as if it was abhorrent my family dare get sorbet twice in one day! when we nodded and explained that this is literally the only thing my sister can eat, she proceeded to check us out, although her attitude and judgement was palpable. Even if my sister could eat whatever she wanted what is the problem with going back to a store twice in one day? I find it disgusting that the cashier felt it important to ask why she was coming back after already coming there. Any type of shaming is disrespectful. My husband had cravings for a crepe. It wasn't our first time here, we came here before to try sweet and savory crepes, frozen yogurts and gelato. This time we ordered strawberry Nutella crepe and new Hong Kong waffle with gelato. The crepe was good, it had Nutella spread inside with fresh sliced strawberries on top. My waffle was interesting. Looks like it is a new addition to the menu. It is a gluten free item made with rice flour. The first bite tasted a bit eggy, but after a few bites the taste grew on me. Overall it was tasty, not too sweet, spongy waffle. Adding a scoop of vanilla gelato will bring price to $6.99, changing the flavor of gelato is an option but it cost more, plus toppings can be added for an additional charge as well, my husband's crepe was under $6 (around $5.80). So much for the customer is always right. I came here about 8 months ago and gave 4 out of 5 stars for my last Yelp review. This morning I came in because I wanted to try their fruit waffle. When I was talking to this young girl working the cash register I asked if I could have gelato on top of my waffle with the fruit. She goes NO with an attitude. I was so taken back at the time I didn't question it. When I finally sat down on the table I was looking around and see waffles with gelato on top all over Sweet Berry's wall. Additionally, I took a screen shot from their Instagram page where it even says you can add gelato with your fruit waffle. I'm very disappointed with the customer service. I think you need to retrain your employees or find new ones. As far as the fruit waffle goes. It was very good. It could have just tasted better with gelato. If I decide to come back I'd get it again. My last major grip is the parking. Since Trader Joe's is here. The parking lot is always incredibly full.
