So I came here specifically to get my friend a gift card and something went wrong and the lady working there was not able to give me a gift card. She tried everything and even called a manager on the phone but they couldn't get the system to do what it was supposed to do. I still bought some things for myself, but ended up going somewhere else for my friend's gift. The things I got were tasty and colorful and fun, though the "filled" gummies no longer had liquid centers. The center was actually textured almost identical to the soft outside of the gummie. Bummer. I wish I liked bubble gum because they had some pearlized gum balls that were the most beautiful candies I'd ever seen. I appreciated their small selection of vintage/throwback candies and liked that they still carry candy "cigarettes" and bubble tape. The store also has lots of cute plush stuffed animals, some cool metal lunch boxes and other accessories along the same lines. Overall okay visit, but ultimately wasn't able to get what I came for. Woman working was VERY upbeat and cheerful and apologetic for the issue though. I don't fault her at all and feel she was a great asset to the store overall. They just need to get their system working better. PS Prices are about $13 per pound of candy. Christmas candy was 75% off though, so that was cool!

love this place!!! great candy, great service, great atmosphere, lit music!!! 10/10 would recommend sour belts, they also have a great selection of jelly belly!

Earth & Sky Chocolates is actually in one of the converted train cars. They don't have a hanging sign, just one posted on the nearby pillar, so it's not immediately obvious which car they're in. If you're coming from the "front" of the station (where the depot is), it'll be the last car on the left. This is actually their second location, with their main shop in downtown Napa. They also have a website where you can purchase VEGAN and non-vegan boxes or even subscribe to a monthly box. Calistoga Depot is a recently opened market(?) along their main street (Lincoln Ave) repurposing the second-oldest train depot and train station in California. All the train cars had their interiors redone and are so worth the visit, every one of them seems to have a unique aesthetic. Be aware that each car is an individual shop. We had thought that everything was closed because of the tinted windows, not-quite-open businesses in some cars, and very few people at the time. But Earth & Sky Chocolates WAS open, and we got some great treats from there. Bonbons, brittles, little caramels, and (most importantly) HANDMADE MARSHMALLOWS! My friends and I each tried a passionfruit mango caramel and were shocked at how much it REALLY tasted like passionfruit, which made the caramel very light. Main thing for me is that this was all very pricey. Definitely more of a special occasion kind of thing. But with the local Calistoga Depot Distillery next door and the wineries down the street, they're also a convenient stop if you're looking to do wine-chocolate tastings.
