Every wall is filled with a different design and each piece of furniture is hand selected for the overall atmosphere. Peaceful music flows through the air, and this would be a wonderful place to spend time hanging out with friends or just working on your own. The food is terrific. We ordered the Strawberry Souffle Pancake and the American Coffee Mille Crepe. The pancake was so soft and airy and was wonderful to eat. The strawberry sauce was delicious and the texture of the pancake and the cream compliments well with the iciness of the ice cream. Only slight complaint (and I'm grasping for straws here) is that the sauce can overpower the super light flavors of the pancake. Would love if the pancake itself was sweeter. The crepe was also a big hit. The slight bitterness of the coffee was delicious with the chocolate, and the crepe was sweet and soft. Staff was great as well. Parking wasn't bad at all. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking in the alley behind the restaurant. Aww this place is so cute and pretty! It reminds me of LoveShackFancy. It's definitely a very "instagramable" place with lots of pretty decor. I love milk tea and boba so of course I had to get some. I got the dirty boba fresh milk that had brown sugar (my favorite go-to boba flavor) that tasted pretty good. I also got the dirty boba taro milk which is basically the same as the dirty boba fresh milk with some barely noticeable taro flavoring. It was good but I wish that there was more taro flavor to it. The Match Mille Crepe is like a layer cake with layer of crepe with lightly sweet matcha drizzle. The Croffle I ordered was a texture that was both soft yet crispy. I opted to have condensed milk drizzle on and served with milk tea ice cream. This was probably my favorite item. Lastly I got the Milk Tea Shibuya Toast. The toast itself is mostly soft with a slight crisp. It came with milk tea ice cream, boba, and whipped cream. Everything was sweet and tasty. I enjoyed every item ordered. Came in for the first time to try something new, i've always seen this place but assumed it sucked bc they make it overly cute and aesthetic and that usually means the food/drinks suck and i was hoping i was wrong. immediately it's just empty and has a funky lingering food smell like trash. None of the workers greet you because you just order from a kiosk and they call your number out so i'm glad i didn't tip anyways. I ordered the matcha frap and i just didn't like it much, it was like 7.25 and I was in between two drinks so i politely asked if there was a way to change it for something else or get a refund and the worker just shook his head and says "No exchanges no refunds, some people have different palettes because it's a popular drink" like hello? So what if someone else likes this i didn't. And I've worked at cafes and drink making places never once have they let us deny the customer since they want to hold up a reputation and make sure everyone's happy with their experience so it's just baffling to straight up be denied and just be feel like "that's your problem" Mind you the workers were just on their phones and the guy that spoke to us was watching something while eating his dinner. My wife and some friends and I checked this place out for the first time this evening. It didn't disappoint!!! The atmosphere was great--plenty of backdrops for photo-ops and Instagram content (if you're into that), but there were also a lot of variety of flavors and choices of sweets and drinks. I had the Matcha Soufflé Pancake dessert which also came with some whipped cream and matcha-flavored ice cream. I had never had anything like it. It looked big, but it was light and delicious. I can't wait to come back to try more flavors, they had at least 10-15 other options. To drink I had a Twisted Love Mojito--it was super fresh!! Not the sweetest drink, but it was still good! AAAmazing! I saw this place pop up on Instagram as an Instagram-able spot in Austin. I've always wanted to try Japanese pancakes so I made the trek to south Austin. I was blown away by the strawberry pancakes - they are unlike anything I've ever had before. They were so pillowy soft - like a cloud? Lol, literally don't know how else to describe them. My husband is a huge coffee buff so we ordered the Crème Brûlée coffee and the Coffee foam - both of them were so unique and delicious. Aesthetically you wont find a cuter spot. You have to order through a kiosk -- which I was a bit annoyed since the menu is so robust but it was fairly easy to navigate/customize. Everything was good (both drinks and desserts) but what stood out was the Strawberry Yakult (a probiotic drink). It wasn't overly sweet and really dang refreshing. The croffle (croissant and waffle combo) was another hit -- I opted for an additional scoop of ice cream. I thought the soufflé pancake was so light, it didn't really hit the spot when you have a hankering for dessert. The decor and all was cute but a little cheesy. I'm sure people love to take photos here but as I was walking around, I kept noticing gnats coming from the trash and used dishes/utensils. This place is so cute. It is definitely an instagrammable spot. We came after eating Ethiopian (just a few doors down) and we were so pleasantly surprised. There are decorations outside every decoration inside, and a different corner. The menu is insane. They have a ton to choose from. We were so full that we could only get two dishes. The staff was really nice we decided to get mango, sticky rice, and a creme Brulé soufflé. It was amazing. We definitely went for Boba but the menu is so crazy that we had to pick something else. The menu here is extensive and would take a long time to eat through it. I came with a group and so glad I did because it allowed me to try a bunch of different things.
