It was an embarrassment to present it as such so I improvised by using the mother's day signage to cover up the blip. When I called to speak with the location about it they dealt with it very professionally and were apologetic about the situation and offered a comp. Few weeks later, my friends and I planned a last minute birthday picnic and an afternoon before I called them panicking. They suggested to take a strawberry shortcake cake they already had made and decorate it. I just said I wanted flowers and sent them a few ideas. They managed my expectations, since the cake was small and fragile. At the same time they EXCEEDED my expectations with the way the cake came out! Super cute! AND THEY ADDED GLITTER. My friends and I were OBSESSED. I told them when my birthday or any party comes around we are exclusively using this cake shop! I love that I can text them! They are attentive and reasonable.
