Checked out their baked goods for my work holiday event! It was easy to order ahead online. The banana cream pie was cream forward with fresh banana slices. It wasnt too sweet and had a nice crumbly graham cracker like crust that retained its integrity/not soggy after being refrigerated for a day! I treated myself to a pistachio latte and it was FIRE! They utilize some sort of pistachio butter or paste and they really blend it with the espresso/milk. As a result it really frothy and thick with a strong nutty flavor!! Loved how it wasnt overly sweet either! The kitchen sink cookie was better than expected! I like how it was extra toasty on the outside with an extra crunch. The parmesean and leek bistro was good but nothing stood out. Staff were really nice. They had some issue seeing my order so they had to work on it on the spot. Store itself is small with mostly outdoor seating. Love the wide selection of drinks and baked goods!

    Double Chocolate Chip Muffin

I really wanted to love this bakery since I'm always on the lookout for delicious pastries that can satisfy my evening sweet cravings. I had a very specific craving for chocolate chip muffins, but my go to options were unavailable, so I decided to order from Crumbly based on its decent reviews. After placing my order, I got a call from the bakery letting me know they were out of chocolate chip cookies. I was like... no I need my chocolate chip muffins So I placed an order from a different Crumbly location (this one) that was farther away. I ordered three chocolate chip muffins, but to my disappointment, I received double chocolate chip muffins instead. Unfortunately, they're just too sweet for me, and I don't like the balance between the muffin and chocolate chips. As for the other items, the vegan quinoa croissant sounded interesting, but it was so stale that I couldn't enjoy it. The regular croissant was nothing special. That said, I did appreciate the careful packaging.

Cute place, they were closing when I stopped by. I just wanted an espresso n they accommodated me, so nice. Espresso was yum!

I am so happy with the service from Crumbly. I ordered a custom cake for a bridal shower and sent them an inspiration picture of what I was looking for and they matched it perfectly. Plus the cake was delicious. Everyone loved it! Would definitely use them again. Thanks.

Purchased this Oreo pudding, walked home all of one block and when I went to eat it almost immediately after returning home I opened the lid to a rather thick layer of grown mold.

I was hoping for so much more, but when I just purchased one of their double chocolate chip muffins and it was dry it left me feeling sad. A dry muffin is terribly disappointing as I was expecting soft moist deliciousness and instead was subjected to cardboard blandness. Sorry, but I can't go along with all the gushing 5 star reviews here. It was pretty bad, and it was early at noon when I purchased it so it's not like it sat around all day and got stale. I ate it as soon as I got home a few minutes later. With terrific bakery options such as Black Star, Michaeli, and now Avenue Bakery in the neighborhood I really have to judge against the quality of those and honestly Crumbly is behind them based on my sad muffin experience. Maybe I'll come back to try something else and update.

This location is super cute. When I stepped foot in here it smelled like fresh pastries and that morning coffee smell. The person who helped me was very nice and sweet. I had an iced latte. Tasted good. They have some interesting coffee flavors too that I have yet to try but have heard they are tasty.

Crumbly Café makes delicious cakes and has great customer service, as well! I ordered a 9 inch red velvet cake and a 6 inch Oreo cheesecake for a birthday celebration. The red velvet cake is 3 layers and thick! The cake was really fresh/moist and not overly sweet. They wrote a message on the top for free. The oreo cheesecake looked tiny compared to the large red velvet cake but it was equally as tasty. The cheesecake wasn't too dense which I prefer - this one was more whipped/airy. The chocolate crust was decadent. Both desserts were a huge hit with my group. I exchanged a few emails with the bakery prior to placing my order - they were super responsive and helped troubleshoot some issues I had inputting our delivery address. I would definitely order from this bakery again and recommend it to my friends.

Crumbly is going to have to work their way up to Five Stars because they just opened. Crumbly is definitely a fun addition to my neighborhood. Now I don't have to walk as far to the First Avenue location. (I walk by here a lot!) I like the daily fresh baked items. The customer service is fast and friendly. Naturally since they just opened last week everything is clean. Please give them time to settle in to this new location. If you love cookies and pastries you will love Crumbly. I always want one of everything. This place is a special treat now and then, I won't enjoy stocking up for winter. Knock yourself out. They open 7am week days and 8am on weekends. I added the business and hours to Yelp. More Photos coming soon.

Hubby has been eyeing this spot since they opened two weeks ago! We stopped by to pick up a crumbly cake and a small chocolate cake. Hubby loved them both! For me, it was way too sweet. However I will go back to try some of their gluten free option, which consists of brownie and cookie. We are so happy to have a bakery that actually bakes their products there!

Had a wonderful experience with Crumbly Bakery! They were super friendly and helpful with taking my order and most importantly the cake was absolutely delicious and looked stunning! Thank you for helping us celebrate a very special birthday!

    Birthday cake

They made my daughters 2nd birthday cake as well as her first. This two tier Elmo cake was such a hit!!! It was beautiful and delicious! They delivered it too which made it so easy and stress free. I love crumbly cafe and bakery ! Not to mention they have the world's best warmed chocolate chip cookies.

Apple Crumb Cake Spinach & Feta Bistro
    Evan N.

Crumbly cafe and bakery is so cute and brings a smile to your face when you walk in the door and you talk to the wonderful workers. I have been multiple times and my consensus is that I absolutely love some things and others leave me wanting more and disappoint me. Just to touch on the ones I really like are spinach and feta bistro! WOW INSANE! I Am not one for the crumb cake and the pistachio croissant as the croisssnt was just really burnt. The coffee really didn't hit the spot for me as it wasn't my favorite. All in all a really cute spot and 100% worth a try when you are in the area!

The escargot was covered with pesto that tasted like the basil wasn't fresh. Also, I'm sure there was plenty of garlic because the restaurant smelled like it, but I would have liked more garlic in this dish. The meatballs were mostly bread (there may have been some meat). After we complained, the item was removed from our bill by our friendly, polite, and conscientious server. Note: This is a French restaurant, but they didn't have any butter for the bread.

Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.
