By far my new favorite spot for drinks! The Hello Kitty Strawberry drink was absolutely amazing, and the macarons were to die for. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I'd much rather support this local business than go to Starbucks. Every time I go to Phelan or pass through I like to stop here. Drinks are delicious, not overly sweet. The boba is always soft, never has that gross hard center like old boba. Fresh and tasty. Amazing new boba tea family ran business!!! We locals are very excited for this new boba place. They offer traditional boba tea drinks, iced green teas, slushies, smoothies, ice cream, and home made desserts. For opening day, they ran out of boba!!! We ordered the iced green peach tea with lychee, the classic brown sugar milk tea with lychee, and the mango smoothie with mango poppings. We ordered our teas half sweet, and they were still on the sweet side but good. If you are not a fan of sweet things, be sure to ask for less sweet for your drinks. The mango smoothie was just right. The matcha smoothie was just right with no string aftertaste. The cookies and cream smoothie was super tasty. My nephew drank it very quickly. The ice cream is from thrifty's (so good)!!! The owners, family, and employees were all very friendly. It is very clean and really cute inside! We tried the strawberry-banana smoothie which was sweet creamy and delicious and the brown sugar milk tea which was also sweet and creamy, exactly what you'd want! I have a favorite spot for my brown sugar milk tea but it's far and I think I even prefer this one even more. It has more of the brown sugar flavor and it's so good! I moved from the LA area to the Tri-city area and I really miss all of the great places to eat in LA, so when I heard a boba place was opening I couldn't wait! Sweet Salt Boba in Phelan is absolutely fantastic. I saw a Facebook post about this establishment and I decided to give it a try. I arrived a few minutes before eight and the door was open so I went in unaware of what time it was or even what time they opened. The gentleman was just opening up shop and I asked him for an ice latte. I waited a few minutes for the latte machine to warm up and it was worth every second. The ice latte was so good. One really cool feature is that they have a machine that vacuum seals the lid right onto the cup so there's no worry about any spillage whatsoever. I highly recommend you give it a try. Let's do what we can to keep the doors open. This is just what Phelan needed. read more
