I've been coming to this Bakery 3 times a month for a LONG TIME. Every time I fly into KMTH it's a regular stop. They by far have the BEST KEY LIME PIE I've ever had. Their cupcakes are also top of the line. They bake in-house and everything is fresh. Heather is one of the bakers and is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They are all career bakers there, they take their product very seriously. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

We went here twice. The first time we got the bread pudding. They warm it and put whip cream on it. It's amazing. My kids and husband got the cookie bowl with ice cream. It was so good. The second time we just got ice cream. Both times were great food and great customer service! read more

We went to Marathon in 2015, and after finding Savannah's Sweet Shoppe, we went nearly every day. The kids talk about it to this day! We LOVED the cupcakes! The ice cream treats were amazing too! They were so nice and so friendly asking where we were from etc...they let my boyfriend and I sample a couple flavors before picking. I settled on the strawberry, which I didn't sample because I didn't think you could go wrong with strawberry. I don't know if I went on a bad day or what, but my strawberry ice cream had no cream and was like 97% frozen strawberry jam. My boyfriends coconut joy was really good though. I'd definitely go back and give it another shot with a different flavor....esp because the service was so good. If youre in the area I would give them a try just maybe don't try the strawberry. read more

I actually tried a key lime made by this baker at a restaurant in Keywest called Brutus Seafood market and restaurant . After eating dinner and heading back to our hotel, we wanted ice cream (well most of us did). So, we stopped in. Boy were we glad we did! All of us were able to get what we wanted. The hubby had a piece of cheesecake, I had ice cream, the boy had a cupcake, and the girl had a cookie. Everything was spot on. I had a Cuban vanilla flavor (I can't remember the name) with dulce de leche. It was perfect. Key lime cooler was the cupcake. It's flavor was sweet and tart and great! The cookie chosen was snicker doodle and you can't go wrong with that. Banana cheesecake was the flavor for the Mr. He ate it all up. Cookie Ice cream sandwiches were amazing, you can pick any cookies and any flavor ice cream. My husband went with oatmeal raisin cookies and rum raisin ice cream. I was in Marathon for the weekend, and I was looking forward to trying this place out. We tried visiting on Saturday, but they were closed for cleaning. On the way home to Miami, I convinced my boyfriend to pop in for a sweet treat for the road. It was delicious! I had the Coconut Joy, which had coconut and chocolate chips. YUM! The coconut ice cream was perfect, and I'm picky about coconut ice cream because it has the tendency to taste like sunscreen - yuck! But not this one, perfect balance of coconut and chocolate chips. My boyfriend tried the chocolate ice cream, which was deep and rich in its chocolate flavor - perfect for chocolate lovers. Went here today after reading some reviews and was so excited to try the key lime pie as it's one of my favorite desserts. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.. it was pulled from the case and very hard. It had a very gummy texture as if was a few days old and tasted horribly bitter. $4.50 for a slice of pie (that was VERY small) thrown in the trash. I did get a pina colada cupcake and it was okay, but for the prices here I'm definitely not impressed. read more

Delightful! Sweet Savannah 's was suggested to us by our waiter for excellent desserts especially Key lime pie! It lived up to the recommendation! They had nice icecream selection along with pies brownies cookies and cupcakes. Among with teas and simple espresso beverages they have everything your sweet tooth could want in a charming store with a good amount of seating. There were lots of customers stopping in to pick up something to go. They also had some nice unique giftshop wares. I thoroughly enjoyed my key lime cookie and strawberry cupcake. As for the ice cream, if i were to describe it in a word it would be lackluster. Its as if they remembered the ice part but forgot half the cream. Very little flavor in both the chocolate and cookie dough, which shouldn't be hard to get right. After all, if you cant make chocolate right you shouldn't be making ice cream at all especially if you're going to charge 4.99 for two small scoops.
