In a word, WOW! This little shoppe is fantastic. Everything we have had has been so flavorful. From the Key Lime pie, to the chocolate croissants, and the cupcakes are so light and sweet. The champagne cupcakes are addictive...our vacation is over tomorrow, and I'm already trying to figure out how to get them shipped to us at home. Ended up settling on a chocolate chip cookie and a weird tasting race crispy treat. Although they do sell some baked goods, the main focus of this place seems to be on ice cream and the custom cakes for weddings and birthdays that they make. We came here twice and loved it both times. First time my daughter got chocolate ice cream with M&Ms, I got the Coconut Joy, my husband got a sundae, and my son got a chocolate cupcake. A cute shop that's easy to find right off the main highway in Marathon. Staff is friendly and they have a large selection of cupcakes and treats to choose from. I bought 2 cupcakes and a cookie to share with my family about $10. The cupcakes were very average, nothing special that I couldn't make myself. This is THE BEST ICE CREAM I have ever had!! We live in Key West and went to Marathon for the weekend. We went to get ice cream here 3 times in two days. When we got home we had ice cream from a Key West shop and it just tasted awful in comparison. Sweet Savannah's ice cream tasted fresh and creamy like it was made just that morning (it probably was!) my daughter has food allergies and they could tell me the ingredients of each flavor. They have gluten and dairy free options. (Soy, egg and peanut free as well). There's also an awesome boutique gift shop attached! Eat your ice cream, shop around and watch planes take off and land. I stopped here after dinner and sunset at Keys Fisheries for some type of key lime dessert. It was alright. I had the key lime and strawberry cupcake. The strawberry filling was great and the cupcake was light. However, while the frosting had a good taste, it had a gritty texture and way too much on the cupcake. If you're craving something sweet, this is the place to be! They have various flavors of ice cream (the Oreo Heath crunch is to die for!) I didn't get a chance to taste the selection of cakes or cupcakes (which all looked DELICIOUS), but only because I opted for the yummy macaroons instead! Stopped in and bought a whole key lime pie. Out of four in the area that we have purchased,.... I thought this was the best.... a graham cracker shell and a nice tangy lime taste .... a close second was Mrs Mac's Kitchen. I don't think you could go wrong with either location. read more

This is a great addition to the Marathon scene. From cupcakes to ice cream to key lime pie to coffees and espresso, they have everything to put a smile on your face. We tried four different cupcakes and the frosting they use on the red velvet cupcake is the BEST frosting I can ever remember having. The chocolate covered key lime pie was equally delicious, and I would have liked to try an ice cream sundae in a fresh chocolate chip cookie bowl, but sadly we ran out of vacation time.
