I usually have no problems but I just had the worst salad. I didnt expect the bbq chicken salad to have bbq sauce on it. I would have been fine with that but it was smothered in bbq sauce to the point where the heat from the bbq sauce wilted the lettuce. I also ordered avocado on it as an extra and it wasnt even ripe which was a waste of an extra charge. I didnt even get the dressing I ordered. I probably wont be ordering a salad here ever again. read more

For $13.95 a plate for breakfast, you go to a counter, get your own menus and order, then go get your own coffee, I wanted water but the machine that was labeled "Water" actually spit out lemonade, so I was stuck with that, and then you bus your own dishes when you're done. It was expensive, disappointing, basically no service, and the woman literally threw our plates onto the table and was really surly. We ordered breakfast, and she tossed the food and left without a word... and without bringing us our toast. After about 5 minutes, I went to the counter to ask for it, and was told, "It's coming. It's coming". My one piece of toast was pieced together from two different slices of bread, one piece more toasted than the other.... and they both were wet! They were wet with water, not butter, and I was afraid to eat it. Add to that, the man in the next table had a dog that he was feeding from the table-top, dog paws up on the table. (Isn't that against health regulations?) When he left, the table was never cleaned and someone else came and sat right there. It was really an expensive disappointment. We won't go back. And they need to do some work with their staff, because they were just the worst. read more

The place was highly recommended and a huge disappointment, I ordered one gluten free burger and they forgot the lettuce and avocado on it, my BLT was stale and untoasted, tomato a pulped mess and the avocado was crunchy, so super unripe on top of it. They didn't mark the gluten free burger from the normal one I ordered and were confused about which was which when I called to ask, how is that ok? Every employee (including those cooking) were extremely friendly and service was pretty quick. Hubby had the Tri-Tip Philly, and I had the Southern Fried Chicken sandwich. Both were fantastic. I dare say that my sandwich was one of the best fried chicken sammies I have had since moving to Grants Pass; good seasoning, moist, and perfectly cooked. It's clear the owners/employees are working hard to improve the atmosphere, as they are currently building a back patio that will have shade, picnic tables and music. Their front patio is also being fitted with nice shade canopies from their neighbors at "Oregon Tarp Company". The only suggestion I have is that I think they'd do well to switch to tableside/waitstaff ordering vs having customers order at the counter. It would take the place up a notch. But honestly no complaints at all. We'll be back for sure. read more

My wife and I have enjoyed BBQ all over this great country, however, this was not one of them. This place was very disappointing on many levels. We ordered the 3 meats for two meal with three sides. The meats were soaking in a very spicy sauce that had no barbecue flavor. It was too spicy for my wife to eat. When I asked the staff about it, they said that they should have warned us. Yes, they should have. They should have also warned us the the ribs were small with almost no meat on the bones and you only get two each and that their beef brisket was cut thin and loaded with fat. I honest thought it was bacon smothered in the awful spicy sauce. The corn came from a can and taste like it. The coleslaw was dry and crunchy. The baked beans were like mush with the spicy sauce. They use some kind of sourdough bread to make their garlic toast. I like sourdough bread, but not for garlic toast. And worst of all the ice tea tasted like a powdered mix. My wife almost slipped the food covered floor on the way to the restroom. The only thing nice we could say about this place was the portion of pulled pork was large, too bad it was not edible with that awful sauce. We were the only ones in this restaurant at dinner time, and now we know why. read more

The person who referred us said that they serve their sandwiches on a footlong bun and that she and her husband could share one because it was so big and loaded with meat. She said they overloaded their basket of fries too. So we ordered their Philly. What a huge disappointment. First it was served on a hamburger bun! Who does that? For $11.99. Unbelievable. The meat was not loaded, and it was flavorless. When I asked for tomatoes I'm pretty sure she glared at me. Like 10 cents of tomatoes was going to break her. The french fry basket was only half full too. This is not good for repeat business or referring them to others. Very short sighted of the owner. We definitely won't be going back. read more

I had the Philly sandwich & Mike had the club both with the best Potato Salad you have ever tasted. As we received our order the table next to us had their order delivered & we couldn't help but to stare in awe of their plate. This place was delicious! My friend and I stopped here on our way through, and were not disappointed. I got the rib plate, with macaroni salad, and beans. The beans were some of the best baked beans I've had, so tasty. My friend had a cheeseburger, and really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, it has a dog friendly patio which was a huge plus. I am going to personally with my son more couple of times the food is to die for I love the pulled pork salad it's amazing my son loves the ribs. I also had them cater a work event and there was so much food and the price was amazing everyone had plenty to eat and I honestly sent everyone home with lots of leftovers!!! My two friends and I ate breakfast here for the first time and all three of us got sick. We all had intestinal issues, so we felt like it could have been the sausage, which we each ate. I called and spoke to the manager to let him know our experience. He did apologize and said he would look into it. I told him it wasn't a good first impression and that we would not be back. Tried it for the first time. It was severely overpriced for what you got. We ordered salads, burger, bbq chicken sandwich and of course sweet tea. Our sandwiches came with coleslaw and baked beans. Both were bad. One bite out of each and the rest left untouched. The beans were more onions than bean and the coleslaw was bland with cranberries? in it. The salads were just ok. Nothing unique or memorable about them. The burger had a pineapple on it the was very chewy and the chicken was dry as a desert. Needless to say this is not a place we will waste our money at. When this place first opened my husband and I were excited to have this place in our neighborhood. Our only other choices were Taco Bell and McDonalds. Today was the second and last time we have eaten there . The first time it was for lunch and we split the mushroom swiss burger. It was ordinary except the bun which was exceptional! Today we tried breakfast and split the bacon mushroom jack cheese burrito. It was extremely greasy. The self serve coffee was in a thermos pot, not very hot and there was no decaf. The worst thing though, is the music. So loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation. This was especially true the first time we were there. Needless to say we won't be back. read more

I've already reviewed this fantastic lunch/dinner restaurant, but we thought we would give breakfast a try. OMG....it was fantastic. I had the BMP (bacon, mushroom, potato) burrito. It was delicious. Some sauteed peppers as well. I mentioned that I liked yellow and orange, but not green peppers as I was ordering, but it's ok, I would pick out the green ones. The chef did it for me! What service! Perfect ratio of ingredients, seasoned just right, big, but not enormous. If you're a light eater, perfect for two meals. My husband had the Meat Lovers Skillet. He could not clean his plate...and that does not happen often. Lots of meat and seasoned well. Fried eggs, gravy, country fried diced potatoes, sauteed peppers and plenty of bacon and ham. Plus a biscuit! No lunch for us. They also have completed their outside dining area and it is lovely. Casual and fun. If we have out-of-town guests...this will definitely be on our "must do" list! And the people are just as terrific as the food!! read more

Food was sub-par. Over medium eggs overcooked. Omelets undercooked with pork verde filling lukewarm. Pork verde tasted like bottled green salsa. No spices, but gave me acid reflux (something I NEVER get) and intestinal issues.Home fries were very pretty, but under seasoned. Weak coffee. The space gets loud with conversation - doesn't need the kitchen playing classic rock at full volume. The whole place just doesn't look clean. This place was a nightmare to be honest. After calling the place 10 times with no answer, we decided to go in. We walk in the doors to see NOBODY in there and the workers were all sitting talking at the table. Service was bad and the food was okay but the worst part was we watched a worker on break eat his food and lick his fingers clean. Then went back to work after LICKING his fingers without washing his hands. When we were leaving a man came in and asked for fries with his order. It was 7:30 and they close @ 8. He was denied fries by the guy was already cleaning the frier. I understand shutting parts down as things get slower, but that was not ok. Customer service was excellent and the tea is excellent. Environment is nice but I have to do all the work and feel like I'm still expected to tip. Food was decent but the PRICES ARE TOO HIGH especially for breakfast. The toast that came with the breakfast wasn't toasted- It was like warm soft bread.. and the bacon was over cooked. Pancakes and hash browns could have been cooked longer because the pancakes were a bit doughy and the potatoes weren't very crispy. I think if they cooked the breakfast better and lowered the prices $1-$2 everything would be a lot better.
