I went into the store and a new girl ended up helping me but she kept asking me the same questions and was slightly rude. She asked me if I wanted to add anything to my order and I simply told her that I wanted to add extra sauce and to have it tossed in. She snapped at me and said, "I'll do that at the end!" I didn't respond to that but I took notice of it. Overall her customer service was not helpful and happened to be a difficult order. I asked for someone else to help me just to avoid anymore confusion or to have someone who may be upset make my food. When the young lady went to the back, two people peeped their heads out before someone actually came out. Once the new young lady arrived, she asked me what the issue was. I told her that it was just a rough time ordering. She proceeded to ask me more questions about it. However, I just wanted to place my order. She stated that the previous associate didn't understand what she had done wrong. I told her that I had explained it to her and that I had no other words about it. After that, I asked for additional sauce and to have it tossed in. She explained that that particular sauce has butter and that it is difficult to get when it's cold. I explained to her that I would just like large/extra sauce. (I'm not sure why they don't just it at room tempt) At the end of my order, I asked if my $3 reward from the app could be applied. She told me that it would appear after I scanned my barcode. However, it never took the $3 off. I ended up paying $14.02 for an order that would have been $10. I explained to her prior to paying for the order that the last time I came in store, another associate allowed me to place a pick up order to enable me to receive my discount through the app. The lady told me that she was unable to do that and that I had to place an order for pickup to receive the discount. This was after she stated that I would get the discount through the app the first time. She then told me that she was a manager and that she was unable to do that. Another manager walked over and explained that I could only use the discount through the app. I explained to him what the previous associate had done. He said, they are not allowed to do that. Then, the other young lady/manager proceeded to ask me of I had two discounts because supposedly you only get one. However, to my understanding, the more you buy the more discounts you get. I explained to her that I had a discount for becoming a new member and after ordering again, I got a $3 discount. I also explained to the manager that he needs to explain that to his associates and that I do not work for sweetgreen. How would I know that I am not allowed to use my app discounts in store. After that, I simply asked for a refund and chose not to take the food because I did not appreciate the customer service I had received. Upon asking for a refund, I was only refunded $12.95 when my order was $14.02. The young lady then told me that they did not refund the taxes. read more

I first heard about this place when one of my favorite Peloton instructors mentioned it on Instagram. I noticed there were a few Houston locations, and being on a pretty restrictive diet, this was one of the few places that caught my eye. The food is locally sourced and tastes incredible. The options were a little less but I personally thought they had a lot of options that are really good that salata does not have. Moved here from DC where Sweetgreen is abundant. Was super excited to see that they will be opening a location here and eagerly waited until I could visit. Living about 30 minutes away, I decided that today would be the day to make my trek to Rice Village for some delicious salad. I pre ordered because parking after work can be atrocious. I roll up, get my salads (ordered one for my bf) and drove the 30 minutes home. I have been bragging to my bf about how Sweetgreen is so much better than his favorite Salata(which is literally a block from us) but Sweetgreen failed me. Salad price for what I recieved was disappointing. I requested spicy broccoli and received stalks, toppings were underwhelming, tofu was overcooked and dried out, the dressing was delicious though. I was hopeful but may save the time and $and just go elsewhere... like HEB or Kroger and make my own. read more

Very healthy options! I enjoyed it so much, I went two days in a row. The kale is shredded so it is easy to eat and actually tastes good! They have recently added Brussel sprouts and I added lots of those. I added the rosemary focaccia bread, but it was very dry, so you might want to skip it. One of my girls suggested it on yesterday and I was game. Before checking out, my friend knew that I wasn't impressed or pleased. For the price I paid for that bowl, the amount of actual food inside that bowl, did not add up. I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for and I certainly will pay for quality.. even over quantity.. Real Talk! I'm an at home chef (wow I've never accepted that before now) lol but anyhoo..
