    Custom made to order salad

I love their shroomami salad that comes with warm portobello ( the highlight of the dish in my opinion) , tofu, toasted almond and delicious sesame dressing. You can also customize salad if desired with many dressing options. Their service is good. Even if there's a line, it moves fast.

Autumn harvest bowl swapped with tofu

I tried their autumn harvest bowl but swapped the chicken for tofu and it was delicious! The maple brussels sprouts were perfectly roasted and savory without being overly sweet. All of the flavors complemented each other well and the bowl was very filling. Sweetgreen is my favorite salad bar that makes me feel full and healthy. It's definitely pricey with each bowl in the $17 range but it seems like fresh produce. Service is usually speedy since it's made to order.

LOVE THE SAUCE. I get the pesto vinaigrette every time and it is so amazingly delicious. I cannot recommend it enough! Sweetgreen is a very healthy and somewhat affordable option for food! This location took 45 minutes to get my online order ready on a Monday around lunch time. I guess they were super busy. I wish Sweetgreen had more diverse meat options. :( Overall though, a great option for salads or bowls that have that extra touch of healthiness to them. :)

Located in Downtown Mountain View, parking is plentiful. Seating is ample and the interior is spacious. The art on the wall was very cool. Harvest Bowl (4/5): quite delicious. The flavor was good but it got soggy at the end. The bread was also a bit hard. I really liked chicken and goat cheese though. They went together perfectly. Tap to pay is accepted. If you're looking for soft drinks sorry to burst your bubble but they only have water. Overall, Sweetgreen is a good place if you're looking to feel healthy and pick up a hearty salad.

First time at sweetgreen and had the bbq chicken salad and oh man that thing was delicious!!! Now I understand why people go to sweetgreen! The portions are great but still for a salad the price was quite high!

I like this location. Because it doesn't feel crowded and stuffy from too many people. Actually there isn't much seating. Medium level of business in a weekend afternoon. I can imagine it can get crazier during the week.

Poor service here :( I ordered on the app/website and requested bread. I ate there, and noticed when I got my order that there was no bread. I asked the worker for it and she was no help. I said I did request bread but didn't receive it, and could I get it now? She said I could make a complaint with the app? Why not just correct the mistake if I'm already in store asking for it? There were also no water cups or utensils out, I had to request both.

Second time here and its now no longer timing or a coincidence that there bowls are half the size of other Sweetgreen locations. Sorely disappointed. I had to ask for extra kale and extra everything because the bowl was half full even with everything in it. Stingy with their ingredients when its an overpriced bowl of salad. To make it worse, the ingredients did not taste fresh at all and the ingredient that was supposed to be warm were all cold. The portions were still small. I do not recommend this location at all.

These healthy bowls are beautiful and delicious. We shared 3 different ones and each one was so unique. Different ingredients and green leaves. Loved them all. The blackened mushroom one was so unique highly recommend as yummy healthy options.

Received a gift card for Christmas and finally found an opportunity to use it! Came around 1pm and was actually surprised to not see a lunch crowd inside. The lady who helped me out was super nice and overall I received great and quick service. Definitely looking forward to my next visit! The order: - Miso bowl with salmon: I had the miso bowl and honestly it was so worth it. I did switch out the chicken for salmon and added avocado so not sure if that made a difference. The dressing was so tasty and I loved the roasted miso veggies. I've been a ride or die for the kale caesar salad for years but the miso bowl is for sure my new favorite. Definitely a must try! - Bbq chicken + squash plate: My partner had the bbq chicken + squash bowl and also really enjoyed it! Like the miso bowl all the flavors worked well together and he was impressed with the amount of protein.

The salads are good and they have a variety of choices. Everything is fresh and the staff are all coordinated and friendly. Great place to dine in or to go. The place has outdoor tables to enjoy the day outside.

Build my own bowl with 1/2 kale 1/2 spinach, broccoli, tomato, cucumber, beets, chicken breast, oil & vinegar, lemon juice & hot sauce.

It doesn't make any sense why this salad place doesn't have higher reviews. For the price you can't get locally sourced greens & veggies and huge portions anywhere else. My salad came with plenty of chicken. Veggies are crunchy. I special ordered a blend of dressing and the server did everything with a smile. Very fast service. My go to for very healthy and clean eating.

Fast, fresh, and convenient! I usually place orders with the sweetgreen app because they often send $5 or $7 coupons, which means I can now get a salad for almost the same price as a boba! I usually like customizing my bowls/salads, and sweetgreen customer service is generally pretty responsive and willing to help out.

When we added a hot chocolate with the server, nothing came out after 15 minutes. So I walked in. There were 5 staff behind the counter. 3 were on their smartphones. 2 were joking with each other. When I finally got one of their attention, I asked about the drink. They said it would come out. Kiddo needed to go to the bathroom. Floorboards were rotten and torn on the walk over. Grimy, gross sink with that film on the door that you see in dive bars. We wait 10 minutes. Still no drink. I go back in with the boy and stand over the the barista so that they'd hand us a hot chocolate. Food was good, but with service and ambience like that, might as well go to a Starbucks. The menu will be current, the drinks will come out fast, the bathrooms won't be grimy, and the servers will give you the time of day.

Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. I was intrigued by Tal Palo after reading about it on a couple food sites. It was an…read moreunconventional restaurant concept that had me very curious. So a few days after returning from an overseas trip, I made a lunch reservation with a friend. Apparently, reservations are required if you want a proper meal experience. At $35 per person for lunch, including tip but excluding drinks and additions, it still seemed like good value. Finding parking during lunch time in downtown Los Altos was surprisingly difficult. There were no spots available on the Main Street, so I had to park in the lot behind the buildings. As I walked inside, I admired the high ceilings, curved alcoves and glass-enclosed dining room by the entrance. The entire space seemed to be illuminated by a central skylight. Aaron is a co-owner of Tal Palo along with his partner, Chef Adriana. He greeted and complimented me on my Mikkeller Taipei t-shirt. Aaron told us he was once the co-owner of an Oakland bar specializing in Belgian ale called The Trappist and subsequently knew Mikkel's brother, Jeppe, who founded Evil Twin Brewery quite well. It was cool to meet a fellow artist and Renaissance man. Fittingly, the beautiful space was largely designed by Aaron. We had our choice of seating. It didn't seem as if there were any two tables and chairs that were alike. Each part of the dining room was unique. There's a really nice patio in the back with a cool huge mural on the wall that is undoubtedly popular during warmer months. We chose a nice broad two top table near the entrance, lit brightly by the skylight above it. Chef Adriana introduced herself and brought by what was essentially an elote muffin, and offered it as an optional appetizer. We took her up on it. It was delicious and buttery with the texture of corn kernels, not simply pureed into a batter. I also ordered a Cafe de Olla, which was pleasantly sweet and blended with cinnamon and spices. She then brought a plate with skillfully prepared green salad. It was then clear that each dish was meant to be shared family-style. The portion-size of each dish is about the size of an individual portion, but there were three dishes included in the lunch course. I could see how this might be an issue for those who eat larger portions, leaving them unsatisfied. Me and my friend don't generally eat a ton, so this was perfectly fine for us. Next up was the highlight of the meal, Chilaquiles Verde. The egg was perfectly fried atop tortilla chips that still had a bit of crispness to them. The tomatillo salsa was a perfect balance of flavor, tanginess, spice and temperature. It was a superb dish that outpaces any chilaquiles that I've been able to find locally, and I've certainly been trying out many for the past six months in search of the best one. I think Chef Adriana's version at Tal Palo may be the winner. There was one more interesting dish remaining: fried quesadillas served with a creamy red beet mole sauce. The quesadillas were light and fluffy, made from masa rather than flour. The beet mole sauce had pine nuts and sesame seeds and several other ingredients blended into it. Very unique and creative rendition unlike any mole I had ever tried. The overall experience at Tal Palo was very unique. There is no set menu, and you are served whatever Chef Adriana has prepared that day. So one needs to approach this restaurant with an open mind and leave preconceptions at the door. As I mentioned earlier, the shared portions might not be enough for people with a higher caloric intake. If these are showstoppers, this is probably not the right place for you. I personally really enjoyed the concept and experience. I look forward to trying their dinner course and going to their workshops for things like making tamales.

ARE WE IN SILICON VALLEY? 4.5…read more One might never know this restaurant exists, tucked away near a Google business park just off Highway 101. You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

Heard of this place for a couple years and finally got to try it on a business dinner. In the past…read morewhen I checked it out, I didn't find the menu extensive. Today I was happy with the food, more to that later. First off, this place is not so easy for me to find. There's a blue glass building outside, which misled me to drive around, looking for somewhere else. Would be better to have a sign somewhere more visible on the street. The place was well decorated with hanging plants and gave a calm, peaceful, and open feeling. It feels great to be inside. It's also a good setting for business HH or gatherings. We started with the drinks, and I tried the Goat Gibson, thinking it must be their signature cocktail since it has their name on it. I don't like it at all. It's too savory for my palate. My Vietnamese coworker saw the ingredient list had fish sauce, and he took an interest in it. After having a few sips, he also didn't like it. The Blush Spritz was a lot more normal for a cocktail. Overall, we found the cocktails pricy for the size offered. They also ran out of Laughing Monk which was the only beer our coworkers were interested in. The food on the other hand was better. We had: -Goat empanadas: great bakery skills on the wrapping, fragrant and buttery -Crispy Quinoa + Tuna Poke Salad: fresh tuna, everyone loves the dressing -Roasted Asparagus: interesting presentation with flowers covering the asparagus. We had to dig in to find the asparagus but they tasted good and fresh. -Wood-fired Mary's chicken: half a chicken, the meat was juicy with few bones -Sticky Pork Shank: This is the best. It came with a whole knuckle-sized portion of meat on a bone. At first I was surprised that they didn't offer any serving knives but only a tong. Amazingly, the meat was so soft that the tong was the only tool we needed to break up the meat. Super soft and juicy meat with lettuce leaves on the side to mimic a Korean wrap. -Daily special of Hamachi Collar: not bad, but I prefer the Japanese hamachi kama way of cooking. This one is a big collar that had a lot of meat, but I felt like too much meat could easily make the cooking uneven. One thing we noticed though, is all 3 large plates have very similar salad on the side, all the same pickled onions. It would be good to have some differences among dishes. We also tried their Pandan Flan for dessert. I was expecting a green flan, so when a white flan appeared, it took me by surprise a bit. It did have the pandan taste once I spooned in. And the crispy rice was a pleasant addition to the dish. Lastly, onto service. We had to wait till the party was mostly there to be seated. But our waiter service was good. He gave us good suggestions and kept our water filled. Dirty dishes were also cleaned up timely. All in all we are satisfied with the meal. Some mentioned they would come back. With Google and other big companies around them, they are not short of business. Making a reservation is essential.
